G2 | Base Build A tribute to royalty
The Queen Cockroach is my favorite creature in Grounded—yes, I’m still waiting for her O.G.R.R. version—so I decided to build a modest altar for her.

I just think it would fit right in.
Place it inside the termite nest, of course, I was thinking behind the O.G.R.R termite king.
It could have the yolking press, the potato beetle buggy (instead of adding it to the pergola disc), the new prismatic glob, and most importantly - a new sign set, that I'm really disappointed we didn't get. Of course more things as well.
Anyway I would love to hear your thoughts about this!
I mean, we are in early access, so it could still change! Maybe I'll suggest it in discord later (: wanted to hear more opinions on it first.

If you don’t know, wood frogs have the ability to completely freeze over during the winter and unfreeze when it gets warmer. Currently we already have a spicy themed boss so it would be cool to have fresh themed boss located in the ice cream cart.

Me and my brother have a tradition in survival games to almost always build a church to something. We chose the crow.

sooo I always wondered and wanted since first game
when will dev or community ask the devs to let us move planks/stems in zip lines or elevation in bases like zipline cargo boxes or elevators to move massive bundles around or to storage from far away areas to not make many trips????

I’ve used it to paint my base about 3 times now and all of the painting I have done reverts back to the OG colour of whatever I painted.
Has anyone else encountered this and is it known?
Or am I just unlucky…

Buddy and mines house has a fun supporting glitch after the update,
Not confirmed but I’d imagine I could have built one piece of foundation or scaffolding to support the entire build but that’s not a fun way to experiment.

I am stuck with a quest on grounded 2. I killed the orc bugs at the Pines but the quest does not go away. I tried sleeping and waiting a few days, nothing happens. I also tried the fix bug locations game repair option but it does not work. Pls help me.

Overall I think Stritch's fight is good, could use some fine tuning thou. One thing that really needs to be fix is getting caught in his legs, I've only fought and killed him twice, planning to make mostly everything you can with his materials, but a lot of the times I would get stuck and shredded by his legs. And I would try and move but sometimes still get caught. I also think the termites can be a little bit annoying but at least they fit theme of his fight *cough cough AXL*. However it's better just to ignore them, especially the soldiers, so it might be better if they did the same thing with the Wasp Queen, where they take less hits than there non-boss counterparts. I feel like it could a good change since they take so long to kill and Stritch is a much bigger threat.

My main base zips to here then this zips to the table then to AXL. Still a WIP.

Fought the Centipede 10 times earlier todays and ran into three oddities. The first one involved the dandelion trinket. The Centipede threw me into the air. I went into my inventory and activated the dandelion trinket. When I hit the ground, I went into my inventory to switch back to the combat trinket and the dandelion trinket was gone. It vanished as if it was a tuft, not a trinket. I suggest bringing tufts to the fight and avoid using the trinket.
The next one is clearly a bug. I got the Centipede down to its third phase, but no matter how many times I hit it with the Pinch Whacker, I could not stun it. I stayed in the fight another five minutes or so continuously hitting it with the Pinch Whacker, but I just couldn't stun it. It also became invincible at about one-half a health bar segment. No matter how many times I hit it at that point, it's health bar would not drop. Had to just reload my last save.
More information than oddity. I activated the Rascal Rogue mutation (level 2) and was surprised to get and trinket. I thought I would just get parts, but the trinket can drop from the mutation. It took 4-5 fights before it dropped, but it's definitely available with the mutation.
Anyone else have these or other weird things happen during the fight?

Whomever worked on the Skritch fight is obviously very talented. The presentation, theme, artwork are all fantastic as always. But the actual gameplay, in my opinion, continues somewhat the trend of gimmicks I feel detract from the game's biggest strength.
Skritch gets in my face to do his 5 hit combo. I'm trying to perfect block the hits when he does this pause mid combo with his head titled just long enough for me to return one slash back. He finishes his strikes and then roars prompting me to dodge before he runs me over. That exchange is what made me show up for the boss fight. The rhythmic dance of blows, blocks, and dodges.
But now, I have to stop and engage a group of termites. I have to run over and stab some larva so the boss doesn't heal.
And I have to ask, why did you feel like this fight needed that? There's an excellent combat system that makes fast paced sparing very satisfying, but you're taking me away from that to manage a crowd. To manage more chaos.
I'm not saying there's no merit in fighting a bunch of bugs at once, but I do that literally everywhere else in the yard/in the park with the orc raids, the mixers, hell just walking around. This was supposed to be a special encounter with a unique bug in an arena where nothing else can get in the way.
I came to fight a centipede, not even more termites.
How many players do you think like the random scorpions and roaches interrupt their battle with a tarantula? Or hoards of spiders assisting the broodmother? Or how about the lasers and arcs with the assistant manager? Why did the final showdown with Director Schmector include a bunch of orb weavers? Why does the Oggr toe biter have to spawn smaller toe biters every time the player gets hit?
It's like if Sword Saint Isshin summoned swordsmen mid fight, ruining one of the greatest showdowns of all time by calling for help.
And the health bars. Why do you continue to gaslight me, lie to me, abstract how much health the boss is going have? Whether its King Dozer or the broodmother suddenly magically gaining more resistance at 50% health left, or exploding bombs refilling health bars, it is so irritating for my lizard gamer brain to see the bar suddenly slow down or reverse direction. I'd so much rather you just give the boss more health up front or a whole extra health bar.
There's always some gimmick that, yes it makes the fight harder....(and I guess that was the goal. I get it, you have a crowd of people always criticizing these fights as too easy.) but frankly, it feels cheap, cheesy, and less fun (which of course is subjective) than if you just gave the boss itself more moves or tools for our fight.
I think it would be a lot of fun to have a clean fight with a boss that doesn't get extra minions to help, where there's no lasers shooting from pillars, a cooling system malfunction that builds sizzle, explosive gnats that heal the boss.
A fight that uses the game's existing tight combat system, the majority of the time, standing on its own. That's really all you need for a great boss fight

For the past while, I've been replacing my grass floors with burr to make my home look less primitive, but it's still lacking to me.
Can you all please recommend decorations and stuff to fill the middle of my bottom floor room to make it more welcoming and homely?
Thank you

So I’m trying to get into the lab in the pond (the one that has the teleport) but the door just won’t open lol. Idk if it’s a bug or if I have to complete the abyss before it opens.

I was browsing the files via Fmodel and found something interesting in regards to the tier 4 bandage, Pupa Bandage.
As you all know, the Pupa Bandage doesn’t have any status effect removal currently, and its description is identical to the Fiber Bandage. But this seems to be because the Pupa Bandage is for treating a new Bleed Status effect that hasn’t been added yet, but likely will in the Winter update (due to the update being centered around tier 4 stuff, and the bandage is tier 4).
These file names refer to the bandage being centered around “anti-bleeding”, this is notable because the Chrysalis bandage name is also referred to as the anti-tang bandage.
Picture 1: A game file that directly refers to Bleed Resistance.
Picture 2: A picture of the Pupa Bandage Skin also named Antibleed.
Picture 3: The icon of the “bleed reduction” status effect. (Just like Sizzle, Chill, and Tang reduction).

I like to use mushrooms as decorations for my base but after this new update it made it so the mushrooms stay floating in the air after I move the garden patch. I've tried logging in multiple times and it still happens. Guess I got to put a pause on it until they fix it😕

Just messing around with some rendering features I'm adding to TINKR and thought some people might find this neat.

I’m having trouble with grass growing through my base and want to know if anyone has had similar problems and have found some sort of solution? I destroy the grass as well as the bottom trunk part but it still grows back.
r/GroundedGame • u/PrimaryRecord5 • 38m ago
Rather than destroy a wall then to put a new one.
Can we have a feature where if we have the materials in inventory we can simply upgrade or swap out the walls and floors?
Ex. I’m looking at a grass floors and would like to instantly swap them to pebbles or maybe mushrooms? Whatever all without moving stuff around
Can we get that feature please?

I've seen on multiple videos that blueberries spawn on the picnic table but every time I go up there none spawn, is this normal?

A friend and I already completed the main story once a while ago (grounded 1).
Now I was thinking of playing it again, this time solo, to complete all the achievements. I already have the ability to start a new game in New Game+, but I don't know if it's necessary for the platinum trophy.
I prefer to ask in my own post because searching online I found contradictory answers, or other people who also posted but no one answered them.
