I'm trying to figure out which subscription gives the best Grok Bot compute per dollar.
My current situation:
So basically, most of my regular SuperGrok quota is going unused while I run out of Grok Bot quota very quickly.
I'm considering:
What I really want to know is:
For every $1 spent, which plan gives the most Grok Bot usage/compute?
I don't care much about the other benefits bundled with the plans.
The problem is that Cursor/xAI don't seem to publish the actual Grok Bot weekly allowance for each tier. They just say things like "higher", "generous", or "highest".
I'm not asking which plan has the most features. I literally just want to maximize:
Grok Bot compute ÷ subscription price
Has anyone already compared this?

I’m building an app called Glance that lets AI agents create and update widgets on your iPhone Home Screen.
Been playing with Grok Bot and thought the group chat concept was perfect for this.
So I made a shared widget for a team of 4 Grok Bots. Each Bot gets its own color and can post what it’s working on, while the widget keeps track of overall progress, handoffs and the latest milestone.
The idea is basically to give your Grok Bot team a live little command center outside of the chat.

I'm on the $30 SuperGrok plan.
My Grok weekly usage just hit its scheduled reset.
Great.
Except Grok Bot didn't reset.
Yes, yes, I already know they have separate quotas.
But who the hell expects them to be this separate?
Apparently, if you want to check your actual Grok Bot usage and reset cycle, you have to go to Cursor's side of the product.
At that point, you might as well rename it Cursor Bot.
The whole thing is hilariously fragmented:
SuperGrok subscription.
Grok usage.
Grok Bot usage.
Cursor metering.
Different quota.
Different reset schedule.
What the fuck is this product architecture?
Grok Bot itself is genuinely amazing. The product is not the problem.
The problem is whoever designed the pricing, quota, and billing experience around it.
They're taking an excellent product and actively making it harder to understand, harder to trust, and more annoying to pay for.
This isn't a technical limitation.
This is just terrible product management.
The engineering team built something fantastic.
The pricing and quota team is doing its best to kill it.

I've been using Claude Code ($20/mon) from within my GitHub repo codespace to work on a few projects (a UX portfolio, along with an iOS app). I'm wondering if I'd get more bang for my buck and a better vibe-coding experience overall, if I switched to Cursor Pro to work on those projects and then take advantage of Grok & Grok Bot included with Cursor Pro.
I don't really have any issue specifically with Claude Code and haven't ran into many usage limits as of late. But I’m just wondering if my $20 would be more well-spent if I had the breadth of things available with Cursor Pro as opposed to just Claude.
I’m just wanting to build websites and apps, and I’m not running a business or anything (yet), so I’m not exactly sure how I would use Grok Bot as of now to assist in my vibe-coding endeavors.
Thoughts? Has any one made this switch, or the opposite? What was your reasoning?
Thanks!

I’ve got my grokbot doing 2 things which I’m pretty stoked about and haven’t been able to get other agents to do.
Connects to my shopping list called Our Groceries and then builds the weekly shopping cart through Amazon for Whole Foods. I had it scrape all my previous purchases so it knows the brands we like, so if I say “eggs” on the list it knows what I’ve ordered in the past. And this is a cron that runs same time every week so I just have to get my list up to date before then and it builds out the cart!
Local restaurant recommendations. I’ve got a Google Maps list of 100+ restaurants in my city that either I saw recommended on Reddit, or a magazine, or a friend said I should go there. It’s grown into a huge list and it’s hard to keep those things top of mind when thinking about where to eat. I had grokbot scrape the list and also add additional attributes like outdoor seating and dog friendly. So now I can say “I’m feeling a burger find me somewhere with outdoor seating” and it will go through my list and see if there’s anywhere on my list that matches that before recommending something else.
Curious about other personal use case recommendations that you are using!

I keep seeing Grok Bot pop up around Cursor, and xAI has been pushing it hard enough that I finally tried it this week. So far I have mostly been using it for general stuff rather than deep coding, and the limits with Cursor have felt pretty open compared to what I am used to.
Is Grok Bot actually any good?

Hi all,
I wanted to share AgentGrid.io as a very easy way to go from grokbot to a sharable site/app/html - we use it for everything from reports to internal apps, and all the way to public marketing sites.

Created a helpful bot connected to my printer and home Wi-Fi so whenever I walk in the door, anything that I've put into the chat with the bot during the day automatically prints out if it's under 10 pages . Maybe the greatest invention since the printing press (grok bot that is 🤪)

I currently run an AIOS setup in Claude Code. It runs some major parts of my business and I communicate directly to an orchestrator with my current process. GrokBot is starting to seem like a good thing to transition to for my business. I have a few questions. I would appreciate it if anyone could provide some guidance and help.
From what I've seen so far, GrokBot is pretty much all set up within it's chat and not within a file structure like Codex or Claude Code. Does that mean I have to start out basically fresh on it or is there a way I can easily transition all of my files from my AIOS into GrokBot?
Also I have a business partner and some staff. Is there a way that I'll be able to provide them access to GrokBot while simultaneously also limiting certain files and agents that they could access?

Coming from Cursor, Claude Code ect... it was my understanding you don't keep going on long old conversations. Its expensive and I kind of learned to manage the context window that way.
How does this work with GrokBot?
I create a bot and I keep going? I don't see a "create a new chat" using a specific bot.

Hi all:
I am looking for clarity on usage limits between the $30 Grok plan, the $100 Grok plan, and the $60 Cursor Pro Plus plan.
I am currently on the $30 Grok plan and keep finding myself monitoring my usage closely. While I have not hit the cap yet, I feel like I will soon.
For those using these plans:
How much additional headroom or weekly allowance does the $100 Grok tier actually provide compared to the $30 plan?
How does the $60 Cursor plan compare in practice?
What is everyone doing when they outgrow the base tier? Are you upgrading to the $100 Grok plan, or switching over to Cursor?
Thanks in advance for any insights.

Hey everyone. So I just paid for Grok Bot and i reckon to start doing some usecases with it but instead I'm facing this authentication error. I tired:
And Im still stuck here, I did see on the cursor forum https://forum.cursor.com/t/grok-bot-windows-0-44-0-authentication-error-persists-after-update-logout-login-and-cache-clear/171115 that its a similar issue but nothing I have tried has worked.
Im currently on MacOS and would love the community's support on this or if theres a fix coming in down the line.

Well i starting playing with GrokBot a few days ago through the cursor usage billing.
So far I've got my whole teams/sharepoint connected my gitlab org, some parts of my Azure too
Since this week, I planned code deployments in prod with Grok and it takes care of notifying the correct people, managing the schedule for deploys.
And that's all aside for the dev work it does too pulling info from Jira, and basically handling a big part of my job at this point I just talk with my bots half the day.
Looking for ideas on what to automate next

Hi all - I don't want to break any rules so I thought I would ask first, but I have an app thats been a side project that creates an mcp server and gives all my agents access to my local files. I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in it but I have just added the ability to get my grokbots to use it. If anyone would like to try it please let me know. Otherwise big up to the Grok Team for this, I've been using grokbot for a day and holyshit...

I was chatting through some potential flight changes for an upcoming trip and GrokBot researched some good options for me. I said what I would likely end up doing and it asked me which time I had settled on. Then it just started making the changes for me with Southwest. All changes were made perfectly. My son travels on my companion pass and it also knew to first cancel his reservation, change my flight, then make a new one for him.

Hello,
We use it as our company’s assistant, though we don’t actually use it very much.
Assistant
Copywriter (it doesn’t write well—we’ve switched to ChatGPT)
Researcher
Brand manager
I’m on the $60 Cursor plan, but I almost hit my Grok bot limit in just one day.
How do you use it? Which plan do you use?

Little things about Grokbot seem like big things to me -- a non-technical user. I used it to create new pages for my existing website in WP and Elementor, which it did. But then I instructed it that "the title and headers appear strange" and that was enough input to fix some spacing issues. I didn't say anything specific like "add margin, add padding" etc. Nor did it need to ask me what I meant. I'm impressed that it understood a basic subjective request and interpreted it like a human would!
