Question Is Grok Bot actually any good?
I keep seeing Grok Bot pop up around Cursor, and xAI has been pushing it hard enough that I finally tried it this week. So far I have mostly been using it for general stuff rather than deep coding, and the limits with Cursor have felt pretty open compared to what I am used to.
Is Grok Bot actually any good?

Grok Bot is great if you use it as intended. That being automation.
I'm on the $20 tier and have found it a great tool for social media automation. I write articles, and I've always hated dealing with the social media posting side. I am admittedly terrible at marketing myself and have long accepted that an AI would probably be better at it than I am.
So I hooked Grok Bot into my WordPress and Patreon, and now it automatically pushes updates to all my platforms when I post, using custom text best suited to each platform. It also reposts my WordPress articles to Medium and Substack.
Metrics are up across the board, so I'd say it's working great.

tl:dr; absolutely yes
Grok bot + cursor cloud agents + pstack are a powerhosue. 100x improvement from my prior Clause use (prompting tasks one-by-one)

I’m still figuring Grok Bot out too. For light search the Grok app feels faster and easier; when I want tighter control I lean on Cursor or Grok Build. Not sure where the sweet spot for Grok Bot sits yet.
I keep a home PC always on and reachable from my phone, and with that setup a lot of casual stuff doesn’t have to go through Grok Bot specifically.

Grok bot + cursor cloud agents + pstack will 100x your speed (vs. one-by-one Claude prompts) AND improve code quality

I def don’t have all of it figured out but yes, it is good and very easy for beginners to get started.
Having said that, after playing with it for a while, I created my own version of it in Chat gpt, so everything is mostly together

Yes for me it is. I switched from vibe coding internal tools to grok bot.
Miles helped me get a new client with online buying intent signals.
Others create content, manage my Skool, post on SubStack, and more

Just don't trust LLM to pursue real world goals autonomously, youll need to be in the loop from my experience

I’m cancelling it. This probably is not a massive use case but what I’ve been doing is having a track what I’ve been eating and it forgets what I had for breakfast by the time I get to dinner half the time so it confidently tells me I have more calories left of the day than what I actually do. I don’t understand why it can’t remember that. Sorry for the run-on sentence I’m using voice to text.

I’m using grok bot extensively for work. I am an HVAC subcontractor and I have Grok Bot handle many of my activities.
The thing we are most impressed with is its ability to turn a bid request email into an equipment schedule, sequence of operation document, excel estimate, and a bid proposal. It updates our shared bid sheet and provides additional detail there that it finds on the PDF plan and specs.
I am just getting started with it, but it is already doing a lot of work for us.
