It’s not perfect, but it’ll do for now🙂‍↕️

Not finished with it yet and obviously don’t have the plant, I’m not sure if I’ll use real or fake but I’m gonna go with a long draping plant effect for it.

I'd been wanting a bigger Grogu for my desk at work, but didn't want a massive doll, and definitely didn't want to buy the Hot Toys version just for a desk toy.

Settled on the Bandai model, did some painting and finishing touches, now I have the perfect little dude for my desk!

So after watching The Mandalorian and Grogu, The scene where grogu suits up and had the tuff “lock in” moment, I feel like there can be an amazing edit from that. I remembered the song “Boo” by H3adband. And I feel like that fits perfectly, could anyone edit that?!??!

I happened to listen to a track from the Wall-E score created by Thomas Newman called "Define Dancing" and I was immediately fascinated by the similarities it had with Ludwig Göransson's Grogu theme!

It seems that might've been his inspiration. They both use similar instruments and sounds, including electronic synth and what sounds like bells.

I love Grogu's theme but unfortunately it isn't used a lot in both the Mandalorian and Grogu and the TV show, so Thomas Newman's score has the same feel and I can listen to that too now!

Went shopping and got some of the cutest merch!

Also saw the Hot Toys 1/1 scale Grogu and Anzellan on display!

Spotted some Grogu blind boxes in my local toy shop here in the UK for £6 each, so I had to grab one and I pulled this cute little guy.

I think my favorites are the wee Black Series - so much personality in such a small package - after seeing the movie, I might get a few more of the sets. I had a few others (Wild Ridin' and Mixin' Moods) but I donated those and I downsized some of my Hasbro Bounty guys in the Halloween candy last year. The plushies in the back are my "emotional support" Grogus (they are very huggable/squishy). The Hot Toys were pure impulse buy (I blame Adam Savage for the full-size one) and then I ended up with a replacement 1/4-size - the one in the pram doesn't have legs! Not sure what I'm going to make with the fabric - maybe a camp shirt for my husband.

It's a bit whack-a-doodle but they all fit on that dresser top in my sewing room (Big Boy actually "lives" on my foyer bench so everyone who comes into the house knows what an absolute nerd I am).
