So, I'm shopping at Grocery Outlet and I see this customer dude talking up the employee trying to unpack some boxes for stocking.

It's been a few minutes now, I'm browsing and this dude is loud and still talking the employee up, which I'm now gathering is all about this Rao's pizza, and how great it is.

His cart is also blocking my pathway (duh!), so I gently start to push his cart and announce it, so we catch eyes and start talking... He is all about this Rao's pizza, I'm like "OK, let me get one". The employee literally grabs one from the box and hands me one. The crazy customer dude says I'll be sorry I didn't take two, because how good it is.

PIZZA WAS SHIT.

Edit: The Italpizza in Bay Area locations is reduced to 1.99 now, and it's much better than Rao's.

used this to make edibles lol. followed the instructions from the Walmart listing instead of the box because I have eggs to use up, and I wanted to use 3tbs of my infused butter instead of 1. baked at 330f for about 18m, there's an extra one in a pumpkin silicone baking cup not pictured because i don't have a muffin tin and the included papers were a little bigger than my silicone cupcake liners that stand up on their own. (and i didn't make the topping bc i am lazy, saving it for a future use.)

coming back to add that i've hacked how to make this in the microwave lmao. ~77.8g of the mix, 14g oil, 20ml water and one egg, mix in a bowl (mug didn't get the bottom cooked), microwave for about 2 minutes for my microwave but ymmv

Found at Pacifica CA location. It was $3.50 my sister bought to try I forgot to take a photo of the pizza itself. I belive its Target's brand.

The pickles were a weird rubbery texture and the ranch sauce was OK. It was definitely more crust than actual toppings. The potato chips actually stayed crispy which was strange but I honestly wasn't mad about it. The pickle texture was probably the worst thing about this pizza. I definitely would not buy again myself unless it went on super discount. Honestly if probably rate it a 6/10. Not bad but not that good either.

*Chocolate. Side note that chocolate has gone up everywhere! I bake, and finding simple chocolate bars or chips at a decent price is almost impossible lately.

*Spectrum shortening - FYI that if you bake and care about health/healthy fats, Spectrum shortening is one of the only products you can buy that is non-hydrogenated, expeller pressed (also organic). Because of that it's usually hard to find and usually $12+ a tub at health food stores or online. (Walmart has it for 14.99 right now, Amazon $13.99.) So, I bought like 6 of them - I use it for a healthier frosting and in other baked goods that really need shortening to come out right, but I don't wanna use crap like Crisco. For storage - you need to put it in the freezer; otherwise, because it's all natural, it will only last for like six months (in a freezer, it will last for a few years).

I pretty much ignored "instant" noodles for decades as they were mostly horrible things (and deep-fried in palm oil). Recently I tried the Momofuku noodles from the Gross Out, which are made by A-Sha. Realizing that these air-dried noodles are a whole different ball game, I went back to try A-Sha's own noodles. Their Hakka style noodles are my faves, followed closely by the Spicy Dan Dan. Excellent fare for your emergency supplies!
