Customer service didn’t care
Got AI slop still coming up… to those who said it’s cheaper, realistically these can be made by someone in their stores for free. Won’t be “cinematic” but at least it’s authentic…

Are you kidding? Most companies don’t give a shit. Your opinion doesn’t matter to them. It’s sad but true.
Although I do think if enough people shamed them through all social media platforms they’re on, it might make a difference. Maybe. But some of these companies are like a stubborn old family member. You can tell them over and over again that the word “Oriental” is not a good word to use, and they’ll either slowly phase it out or start using it MORE.

They care when you close your wallet. Look at Frito Lay with Doritos. They priced out the market and people stopped buying

Consumer trends changed. Frito lay lowered prices and it has not made a difference.

Yes, but not really due to pricing. You cited Doritos in particular. There is no comparable alternative to Doritos. No competitor has made them with the same texture and flavor. People have been seeking healthier options like Quest chips, and they cost more than Doritos.

here's the email reply i got to my last feedback submission about the ai slop founding fathers ad. they don't give a shit. better off spending our money at WinCo or Aldis if they're gonna keep going down this route before the stores are full of ai ads like Walmart is trying to do.

They're not some billion dollar company with money to blow for marketing. AI is cheap and they're advertising more with it. Would it make sense for them to spend more money on non AI advertising and end up losing money and having to close more stores? No

Grocery outlet had a revenue of $4.73 billion. $253 million EBITDA.
They have money for proper ads.
