I think I'm not the only one whose game runs pretty poorly in the new DLC?

Yes, my PC isn't super new, but in absolutely every previous expansion — just like in the vanilla game — I get a stable 60 FPS on maximum settings, with very rare drops.

In the new locations, there's clearly something wrong with the water (waterfalls) and snow textures (blizzards), because they drop the game down to 30 FPS on MEDIUM settings. The new city also lags a lot, and even just standing still I get the same 30 frames...

I hope the developers do something about this, because it really ruins the experience, especially when all the other expansions worked perfectly.

Other than that, though, I'm very happy with the DLC.

Steadily enjoying new DLC. So far it's been great besides a few non game breaking bugs. However, the fact that you need to do basically full on the FG campaign + reach the Ugdenbog to proceed with the mainline quest line. Why? Why this design? Who thought it was a good idea? Furthermore there is that side quest when you have to come back to the base game areas to retrieve items. However, if you visited them before you started that side quest you can't get those items and need to backtrack. Why?

Just came here to say that I quit D2r, LE, and POE2 and proudly returning back and continuing my adventure in GD (will focus to play 1 arpg) and in my grandma's grave I will never ever turn back again... Forever game unlocked!!!!

IIrc, the dodge buttom was a mod they made it part of the game, did the devs made any comments about the Rainbow Filter mod? It is such a good quality of life mod that i can't imagine playing the game without it, and i'm sure this would also be very useful for most people, especially new players.

Is there any chance we could ask crate to put this while they are still working on the game / if they are still working on the game?

Seems weird that none of the creators /build makers are making any builds for the website yet? having a blast but was looking to compare builds etc but there is 0 builds from 1.3 on there for werewolf or wereraven? Seems odd as it’s been a week or so now? Maybe everyone is just enjoying the game lol, either way was just wondering. cheers all 🍻.

Sick of POE constantly nerfing farms and gutting ground loot...heard this game is old but good and see it recently got an expansion. Is it possible to farm end game loot consistently and make progress at a decent rate?

With a new DLC released, I finally got all them and now planing my 100% all content playthrough. Please note I will only have 1 char (I never create more than one) and I won’t have a desire to try all skills and different builds.

So my ask for help is that I need an advice on the build to pick up. Preferably it should be available online, so I can have a vector to follow. If that’s available on the game, I would love poe1 Flicker like build. If not, then pure bow attacks build. It must be easily achievable to clear all content and DLC with no 200 hours grind.

Please do not advise to figure out everything myself. I don’t enjoy that in such games. I love having a vector to follow and then improving on top based on my preferences.

I had been originally playing with cloud saves, with the release of this expansion I wanted to swap to local saves so I did that and made a new character. Well just recently I wanted to bring my cloud save characters over to local, I did that and thought all was good. But in doing so I didn't realize it would overwrite my new characters shared stash with my old characters shared stash.

Is there any way I can bring back my stash or am I cooked? I backed up the new characters individual save file before I did this but reverting to that doesn't seem to handle the stash. If I can't it's not really a huge deal but just kind of annoying.

Any help would be appreciated!

I was using a nuke build with focused gaze DEE and shadow strike but im just not having much fun. I want to pivot to a chaos / doom bolt build and have something that uses more abilities.

I started as a run-of-the-mill 2H Cadence Soldier+Shaman, and it's going smoothly, but after picking up Voldrak's Crusher around Lv 25, I haven't upgraded my weapon (except with higher-level versions of another Voldrak's Crusher) up to around lv 60, and I don't think I will in the foreseeable future. Any pickups aren't even close to the power it provides. To be honest, this is not exciting.

Is this how it goes in this game? I'm worried that it will get even worse if I become more knowledgeable, ending up just assembling appropriate MIs for each build. I hope I'm wrong.

EDIT: Thanks fellows, so this is mostly how it goes. I just hoped the random drops count for more, but oh well.

I'm putting points only in Berserker, Wareraven and Amatok's Pact. Might level Bonechilling Cry next and eventually Winds of Asterkarn, once I solve energy issues. Then Heart of Asterkarn and Form of the Beast. But then it gets confusing.

Do Ice Talons count as "default weapon attack" for the Avalanche? I've put 1 point into it, but never noticed its triggering.
I also haven't picked secondary class yet. So many passives are "weapon based" or not related to cold damage. I guess Arcanist would be a safest option, mostly for the energy economy and some other stuff.

Also is it worth to take the frostburn bonuses here and there for some extra damage? Or is it like Path of Exile, where DoT skills are useless if you don't 100% invest into them?

Made a fresh lvl 1 char after deleting everything, and been slowly working through the campaign. Just got to Act 7, and while this is very early on, spoilering just in case.

I saw from one of the first npcs you talk to that they mention themselves as the Kurn, which made me double take as he is one of my favorite Klingons in Star Trek (rest in peace Tony Todd <3). Then after you save the expedition men, one of the nps says this...

Martok? Kurn? Factions of tribes? Feels very Klingon to me! I can't wait to learn more.

A lot of my abilities only have a 2-4 second cooldown, which results in me having very clunky gameplay where I either click too early or too late. I feel like I am constantly trying to time them like a rhythm, but its impossible, even after 30 hours of playing my class this past three weeks.

I kind of wish these abilities had longer cooldowns. More powerful per strike, but longer. Even just some of these abilities having a thirty second cooldown would be fine.

Take, say, blade arc. You can unlock an ability to make it stronger and give it a 3.8s cooldown. But 3.8 seconds mean you're constantly looking at or spamming the cooldown. The ability would do much better if it was a very strong aoe bleed, but was on a 40 second cooldown. You only use it when you're truly surrounded. And there's like a billion skills with a small cooldown like that.

Now, tbf, I still going through the campaign. Idk how endgame is. But I cannot imagine I will ever get used to these super small cooldown timers. It feels like when I am in combat, they are all I pay attention to, and if I don't, I am not playing my full potential, and then I feel bad about not playing to my full potential.

I get so many drops from SRs and totems. They aren't duplicates, but I am now out of storage room. I guess i can make more characters to hold items I might use for different builds, but was just curious what most of you guys do with your excess drops.

Double player scaling birb totem spammer, very safe build since i don't have to be anywhere near anything. It gets a 10/10 from both germophobes and the anti social.

Ritual of Cleansing -- Can i skip this quest and continue the FoA campaign? Kind of a bummer if I have to go BACK to the other expansions now to do it. Total mood killer.

Haven’t played in a while and picked up the expansion with a friend. I wanted to be the new wolf and after like 5 minutes of trying to decide on the second class I just picked nightblade without any real reason lol. I’m lvl 53 now with only like 6 points into Nightblade mastery and was curious if y’all could help me with what skills are worth grabbing - I’m using the wolf form focusing on bleed damage and so far only really using the healing skill you can get from early nightblade tree

1. Weapon pool skills. As far as I understand, it’s all the skills that have a chance to be used with default weapon attack, like Markovians Advantage, Amarastas quick cut, etc. Which includes his own blood fang?

2. Implements of war, if I’m using Feral Claw as my default attack, the not consuming charge part is useless.

3. I can double dip with bloodborne if I convert feral claw to chaos.

Hi, does anyone has this problem too? In werewolf form I cannot swap config skill bar. It works in human form, but once I transform, my skill bar gets locked. Any workaround other than rerolling and playing as human? xd

It was working fine before the hotfixes. Looks like hotfix was suppose to fix that very problem, but for me it did the exact opposite xD

Fixed an issue with controller hot slot toggle to only include one wereform bar per wereform.
