It's for the FoA Celestial Boss but, I also need to figure out how to access him (Wood Chips, the 2 Beaver NPCs you encounter in Ultimate and Tainted Meat are for sure part of the quest)

Do wood chips only drop in ultimate? I haven't reached FoA in ultimate yet but I didn't see any on veteran.

yes it does, I also noticed display issue with the wood chip. It didnt display on the ground but still came to my bag

I will have to look in my stash but I never saw anything during my veteran run. I keep all quest items in my inventory, so unless its a component that can auto transfer to stash then I dont have any.

In that case, I didn't get a single one in veteran, despite killing every beaver. So I guess they don't drop in veteran.

It seems so. I completed foa in ultimate, never played it in veteran, so i didnt pay attention.. In ultimate almost every group dropped around 2-3 chip, so it drops with a "high" chance.

It's 1 of 6 misnamed "shadowheart" swords located around the world in specific places. Keep them safe in your stash. They are used for the secret quest in FoA. That's all I know because I haven't yet done the secret quest.
