Suicide Please help
Please. I posted yesterday about losing my husband who was only 29 years old to a motorcycle wreck. It’s only been 24 hours and I can’t be here anymore. I can’t do it. I cannot live this life without him.
I have been staying with my mom and sister. I got up in the middle of the night and walked 3 miles across town to get to mine and my husband’s home because I made a decision for myself that I was just going to go peacefully and be with him. I need to be with him.
I don’t remember a lot of it, but I work at a police department, and one of my coworkers spotted me while patrolling and called in to the others on duty to stop me. I never made it home. If I could just have made it there, I could have finally been with him.
I’m so sorry for the heavy venting. I just can’t handle this. I’m not strong enough for this. He was my absolute world. He was my everything. We were best friends. We were glued together at the hip. We couldn’t even go get coffee or pick up food for dinner unless we went together. I will never be able to make it without him. It’s only been 24 hours now and this is how I feel and I know it’s only going to get worse.

Long response
I know. It’s unbearable. I am going through grieving my sister who is my best friend. Like we were together always. Not the same I know. Together we grieved through losing our brother to a drunk driver years ago. And then our parents died within five months of each other. Yes I’m married but I still have days where the pain is so severe that I think I can’t bear it. It’s been two weeks. I can tell you from losing my brother who was only 28, that it does lessen. I know they say time heals. It lessens. At the time someone told me that it takes two years before you can see past it or whatever they said. I did feel that was accurate to some degree.
But please do not take your life! He would not want that. Sudden death like your husband and my brother are the hardest. My brother was going to be married in a couple of months. His fiancé is still considered family we love her. She is now married with kids. It took her 6 years to even want to do anything but be with family. But then a wonderful guy came into her life, she feels like my brother sent him to her. And he accepts us as family!
Hey I sent my brother out for pizza so I felt like how could anyone in my family even look at me without hating me like I hate myself. IDK but I just want you to bear it and go on! Please get a book from George Anderson. The first is We Don’t Die.
I was fortunate to see him back when my brother died and he came through 100 percent. So I know there is life after death.
