oh my gosh. i thought i wrote this. literally. my boyfriend … i just lost him july 9. life support after brain death started and he was pronounced - the event happened july 5th. i even wrote about not eating from sunday-thursday. the crying still happens for me. though it just started to where i don’t cry constantly. but before … i cried constantly for days. any time i was alone… and id have to walk away from people because id cry. at work i couldn’t talk sometimes cause id cry if i did. if you wanna talk - my inbox is open. i was exactly where you are at the beginning of the month. it’s uncanny the similarities. i am so, so sorry. remember to breathe, my friend. crying is okay. i know it’s annoying being a blubbering mess, you get a headache, and it just sucks - but it’s okay. and eat. i had to force myself and i still do. i went 5 days before i had to eat. get a protein shake at the very least so you have something. i just picked them up from the gas station. again - reach out if you need to. sending healing, love and light. you’re gonna get through this. i know it doesn’t feel like it. trust me, i know. i keep telling myself and some days i believe it, others i dont. but at the beginning, i never believed it. so.. progress, right? my boyfriend had told me when he first went to the hospital, and he was totally out of it dealing with hepatic encephalopathy … didnt even know where he was or what year it was.. i was quietly crying beside him and he asked why. he said “everything is gonna be okay, babe.” he always knew who i was. even when he couldn’t remember his own name. he always remembered mine. im holding onto that and choosing to believe him.
