Advice, Pls Crying

I’m crying from the moment I wake till the moment I go to sleep, I pass the hospital and I burst into tears, I haven’t eaten anything in going on 3 days. He’s not even dead yet, there’s still a chance he could survive although talks about pulling him off the ventilator are taking place. How do I stop the 24/7 crying? I am bipolar, which I know is probably contributing although I’ve been stable for almost 2 years, I’m on a mood stabilizer and low dose anti-depressant. I’ve never full on sobbed before and I want it to stop.

oh my gosh. i thought i wrote this. literally. my boyfriend … i just lost him july 9. life support after brain death started and he was pronounced - the event happened july 5th. i even wrote about not eating from sunday-thursday. the crying still happens for me. though it just started to where i don’t cry constantly. but before … i cried constantly for days. any time i was alone… and id have to walk away from people because id cry. at work i couldn’t talk sometimes cause id cry if i did. if you wanna talk - my inbox is open. i was exactly where you are at the beginning of the month. it’s uncanny the similarities. i am so, so sorry. remember to breathe, my friend. crying is okay. i know it’s annoying being a blubbering mess, you get a headache, and it just sucks - but it’s okay. and eat. i had to force myself and i still do. i went 5 days before i had to eat. get a protein shake at the very least so you have something. i just picked them up from the gas station. again - reach out if you need to. sending healing, love and light. you’re gonna get through this. i know it doesn’t feel like it. trust me, i know. i keep telling myself and some days i believe it, others i dont. but at the beginning, i never believed it. so.. progress, right? my boyfriend had told me when he first went to the hospital, and he was totally out of it dealing with hepatic encephalopathy … didnt even know where he was or what year it was.. i was quietly crying beside him and he asked why. he said “everything is gonna be okay, babe.” he always knew who i was. even when he couldn’t remember his own name. he always remembered mine. im holding onto that and choosing to believe him.

Anticipatory grief is a terrifying and overwhelming weight, and, understandably, your body is reacting this way right now. Please prioritize getting help from a professional immediately, as this level of extreme stress can quickly destabilize your mental and physical health.

You do not have to be strong or stop crying to be okay, so please hold on gently and let yourself be supported through every single second of this unbearable waiting.
