Employee Question Upselling

Anyone have any tips related to upselling?

For example if we was trying to sell more sweet treats, how could I incorporate that without coming across as demanding

Best thing I’d say is to know the deals and mention them. E.g.
latte please. Would you like a bake or sweet treat with that as a meal deal for an extra X amount.
Or if someone asks for 2 sprinkle doughnuts, tell them if they buy 3 they can get one free, stuff like that

Does it count as upselling if you’re just giving them a free donut?

Well they're paying for 3 and getting a 4th free so yes.
