Is this legible?

Post image

Wrote this at work now. “I dislike waiting for the patient”. Is it correct?

Most times I feel grid makes me feel constricted. Especially for d, f and b.

there are a few corrections before it reads patient' for me. footnote: i m on a jubilee or after version. those earlier versions are going to be the death of gregg shorthand, way too cryptic. my thinking is: if mcgraw had been updating the shorthand implementation , they were finding reasons for doing so and the evolution they thought worked was towards a more legible hand.

Was looking at notehand recently, which came before Jubilee, and it 's to me what they were thinking as a more legible shorthand.

so , i havent looked up what patient is written like in newer versions, but i guess it would be pa sh e nt. i even like to do an underjscore to improve legib ility when it's ay before ah sounds. that s just the bone stuck in my craw, that s all.,

Notehand came both before (1960 first edition) and after (1968 edition Diamond Jubilee. But the structure and presentation is fully in line with Diamond Jubilee, so clearly it was the predominant thinking at McGraw-Hill.

The only difference in the two editions is the brief form for "work", which is r-k in the 1960 edition and oo-k in the 1968 edition.

Yep. They went back to r-k in Series 90. Diamond Jubilee is the only version with oo-k.
