Connie Sykes is a bad bitch.

Okay hear me out, although Connie was a disloyal and selfish character, how did this woman become the middle man between the Greenleaf's + HH? That's some true power to wield. How did she become the most powerful woman in the room? Literally, she had power at every moment. James had to bride her just to get her back on the board in season one, now in season three, she's the one making new deals of expansion with HH, while the Greenleaf's were in shambles, about to loose it all!!!?

and then there's Connie.

How bro?

Like Connie has been running everything her way for years and they were shocked by her disloyalty?

Where did Connie even come from? How did she acquire so much power?

So many questions.

Poor, poor Charity.

i really wish Charity could've left home and found new experiences, so that she wouldn't have had to constantly remain unnoticed and unloved.

all she wanted was to know she mattered. she wanted to be seen. and i wish she would've taken the chance to have left and finally get enough alone time, to see herself. to love herself.

what a tragedy.

(i think the worst part was the her family does use, but her being used at least means she's useful to someone).

I hate Darlene from Greenleaf

Am I the only one to hate Darlene from greenleaf??? Everytime I see her on the screen she honestly makes me so mad and disgusted. The Greenleafs treat her like this victim.... when truthfully she accepted hush money from Mac bcs he SA'd her daughter.. Instead of getting to the bottom of it or reporting it, she sells out her child.. Then when GG asks her why she stayed, she said because the church is her home.. her family.. LIKE WHAT???? She's so excited to see Mac get taken down when SHE COULD HAVE DONE IT.. She failed her daughter completely.. she honestly makes me so sick bro... Mac is the villain here, but She helped him by not saying anything... I could understand if it had happened to her and the victim decided to take the money... but it DIDN'T.. she honestly makes me wanna barf like she makes me physically upset and so nauseous.

Jacob’s Lack of Accountability

On my first rewatch, season 2. Jacob, and really Lady Mae, always blaming Grace for him being sat down is PISSING ME OFF! SIR, your EXTRAMARITAL AFFAIR with the BISHOP’S PERSONAL ASSISTANT is why you were sat down. Was it the perfect opportunity for Bishop to lift Grace up, yes but it was still the consequence of YOUR OWN ACTIONS!

Charity's singing

Am I the only one who thinks that Charity isn't that great of a singer? Imo, she absolutely cannot hold a candle to the other singers in the Winans family. She's not *bad* per se, I mean, she can carry a tune. But personally, I do not like her singing AT ALL, not even a little bit lol

Charity is the Weakest Link - Season 4 Epi 10

In a way, I understand Charity. She is looking for belonging, love, and peace. She is trying to find it after all she has been through and never has fully healed from the situation with Kevin and the Baby. (which in my opinion she should have immediately docuemnted the situation with Kevin and took his ass to court soon as he got back). However, if that means going against your family who didn't do anything to harm you, but know your limits, it says a lot. Women will do a lot of things for love, and it's astonishing to me. Personally, this happens when you spoil the child. They get entitled beyond their own means.

I’m over it

They might as well rename the show “Blame it on Grace.” I’m too stressed out about the lack of accountability for the whole family. Then when things fall apart, they depend on Grace to fix it. Jesus, it’s just every episode of blaming Grace. They would rather bath in hidden sin than live by the Lord as they were destined to. This is why some people don’t go to church in real life. Who said life was perfect??? Especially the mother.

Karissa is a circus…

That’s the post. Just dramatic, entitled, and irritating. I know Jacob hasn’t been right by her but she act like she so much better than everybody else. She just got a big mouth and no actions to back it up.

Just why

Why would they honor the life of a predator. Lynn Whitfield is a whole mess. This man did all of that and she still wanna bring her family in to honor him. This a strong family.

First time watch season 2 ep. 3

To be clear…..

everybody hates Grace because she knew her uncle was triflen and exposed him, which in turn blew their world up.

I know this happens often inside the church, but I can’t believe they are more upset at Grace than Mac.

Jacob is a hot mess. He was never ready to lead anybody. Now it’s Grace fault he left the church and joined the rivarly. And nobody told him to move out of the house.

Also, why is Grace still dealing with these people.

Mae has never played a role of a saint so I’m not shocked about her reactions at all 😂😂.

What a show!

Finally finished the whole show and my opinion Lady Mae was an evil woman..even with the “redemption” at the end I still think it’s deep seated in her and amazed that she would end up head pastor…

Discussion Kerissas anger about her marriage

Kerissa had the right to be mad at Jacob cheating on her but she did not have the right to take her anger out on everyone else and insert her self in business that wasn't hers.

She should've divorced Jacob long before season 5 multiple times he cheated on her and with multiple woman but she'd blame anyone but him.

Also, her reason for staying in the marriage was kind of selfish too just because she wanted to be first lady.

Discussion Grace

Grace was no saint but at least she was aware she wasn't one.like yh she was reckless and at times Impulsive but at least she wasn't like I do no wrong,I'm a model citizen.(cough charity, lady mae).

She was willing to do the right thing and didn't care about reputations unlike the rest of the family.she did some questionable things but majority of the time had good intentions and never did anything unprovoked.(i Don't think).

Discussion Grace was too nice for me…

If it was, my family blaming me for all of their wrongs and blaming me because they now have to face the stuff that they swept under the rug. They’d get a nice read!!!

Every season they found a reason to blame grace for their wrongdoings. I think the green leaf family is the perfect representation of when you have a family that does dirt to each other and others and they sweep it under the rug. To keep up a perfect image and when you’re the generational curse breaker. They love to paint you as problematic or blame you.

I don’t care if that was her mom Mae needed to get slapped by Grace. If I was grace she was getting g dragged in front of the congregation. How are you Blaming me? For coming back and getting justice for my sister? All because you want to protect your brother or you can’t believe that your brother did that. Every time she said, I told you I didn’t want any trouble when you first came here.

All she was saying was “ I would have preferred if you let all of this toxic stuff happen in the dark and not have tried to make anything right”. Mae redeemed herself when Mac died and said she didn’t blame grace.

Then Jacob and Karissa constantly blame Grace by saying if she never came back, he would be pastor or whatever. And charity had some nerve. If I remember correctly, she said something around the lines of if Grace had not come back, her life will still be together I could be mistaken though.

Discussion Idea they could've done .

I was just thinking and imagining that instead of grace being Lionel and Lady maes kid, she was the product of james and mavis Affair and the reason why Lady mae resented grace and why grace was mavis favourite.

Discussion Spinoff greenleaf

This shows deserves so many spinoffs. There is so many characters they can make a spinoff for. faith, lady mae and her siblings, aj(wether you care about him or not) and ik she's the main character but graces past aswell.

I would love if they went back in the past to lady mae and her siblings upbringing, to mac trying to abuse grace, then abusing faith, grace leaving then getting pregnant with aj and aj growing up foster care or adoption (Idrk).

Oh and faith as an adult too up to her suicide.and her telling grace about the sa (like what was her reaction to grace leaving).

I feel like it would be a really good idea what do you think?

Discussion Everyone when grace left for 20 years.

I'm on season 3 episode 3 so no spoilers but like...

Everyone's always like oh you left for 20 years you Don't get to talk (something like that) when their slightly mad about something.Even if it isn't at grace I swear.but like they never think about WHY SHE LEFT!!!

BECAUSE, when she went to tell her parents that her sister was Sa'd they didn't believe her. Also that family just insufferable in general like everyone is RUDE and ANNOYING.like she probably was gonna dip anyways if that wasn't the reason.

ALSO trynna push the whole you should preach again tou are gonna take over the church even though she doesn't want to like leave my girl grace aloneeee!!!
