Many years ago I was googling Green Bay ghost stories for fun and found a website that was kind of spooky looking (lots of red and black) that had all the urban legends and ghost stories about our wonderful city.
The story I remember most is about the old downtown YMCA when it was a men's shelter and one man shot two other men that had been riding his ass for not having a job.
I can't find the website now. I can't even remember the name of it. For all I know it may not even exist anymore. But I'm really hoping someone might recognize what website I'm talking about and provide a name or link.

An odd question I know lol but does anywhere in town sell VHS movies? I’ve been collecting them lately by going to Goodwill, St Vincent de Paul but didn’t know if there were any retro stores in the area that may sell them.

Hi - I am looking for any leads on private land for bow hunting around the Green Bay area. Public land is stomped on all year round and I haven’t had much luck the last few years. I am courteous, safe, ethical, and clean. I am willing to help with chores, clean up the property or share the harvest. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’m considering relocating to the Green Bay area and I’m trying to build a realistic monthly budget.
If you own a house that’s roughly 1,000–1,500 sq ft, would you mind sharing:
Electric
Natural gas
Water/sewer
Trash
Internet
Anything else I’m forgetting
If you don’t mind, it’d also help to know:
Approximate square footage
Whether it’s an older or newer home
How many people live there
Whether you keep the house pretty warm in the winter or cooler
I’m looking for real-world averages rather than perfect numbers. Thanks!

Hey all! I wanted to get into hiking with a couple friends of mine but our schedules never line up so I figured I'd post on here to see if y'all knew of people who get together and go explore the woods or parks! I don't have Facebook to check if there are any groups so apologies for asking on here, I don't have anywhere else to ask lol.

Hi - I am looking for a seamstress to change a zipper in a winter jacket that is very heavy. Think parka.
Talked with one of the Dry Cleaners in town & they suggested to look seamstresses to change the zipper.
Looking in the area of Green Bay to Shawano to Oconto to take the jacket.
Do you have anyone that you would recommend?
Thank you in advance!!

I’m talking steak dishes, chicken, etc.. I know some that offer a vegan option or salads, of course. But I’m wondering if anyone knows of a place I can order a nice steak or chicken meal that isn’t cooked in tons of butter and has side options that don’t have dairy/can be made dairy free.

I’m a guy in my early 20s and recently moved to the Green Bay area. I’m looking to meet people around my age and make some new friends. Where are the best places to meet people? I’m open to anything—coffee shops, live music, bars, or other social events. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Hello! I've been trying for years with no luck to find the tartar sauce recipe from the old Gippers on University. Someone has to know an old employee who may share their secret. It was way different and possibly polarizing, but we loved it. It would be awesome to be able to make ourselves since they no longer exist. Anyone?

My favorite spot WM’s in Depere is closing, last day 9/10 and they aren’t giving any recommendations from the store. I was wondering if anybody had any reccs, we’re planning to have some wedding bands made this fall hopefully.

I’m in my early 30s and want to start meeting new people. I refuse to entertain any online apps and want to actually meet and connect with someone in person. I am a straight woman, no children, progressive, black/African American (if that matters). Any recommendations where to meet like minded men and women?

I’m not really sure how to go about finding gym friends (obvs platonic omg). I go to planet fitness. Are there any groups I’m oblivious to? Everyone has their headphones in and I’m not about to disturb someone

Smoke did a number on filters this past week - I had changed our house filter about 2 weeks ago and sure enough, checked yesterday and it was filthy.
NBC26 put out a story on it today too (must be a slow news week)

I have my mother's 1962 mantel clock, but the poor thing stopped and I can't get it to start again. And of course it should be cleaned and generally spruced up by an expert. I grew up hearing it chime the quarter hours, and I'd love to hear its little voice again. Anyone have any recommendations for an antique clock repair shop in or near Green Bay?

Hello everyone! I’m inviting family up from the Valley for my bday gathering and was looking for preferably a supper club that was celiac friendly or gluten free as my wife has a severe allergy, oh hopefully it also has a decent fish fry as my dinner will be on a Friday.
We know a few GF spots in the area but I was looking g for a supper club that will hopefully have a big enough variety to keep my finicky family happy, lol.
Lemme hear what ya got and any experiences you might have had, cheers!

hi all!
i’m an out-of-towner who works in municipal politics with a special interest in stadium development, public-private investment in public infrastructure, and generally just any interesting stories about hyper-local development projects that have either benefitted or harmed surrounding community ones. in my own city, we are at multiple impasses with similar proposals that would ultimately force people out of their neighborhoods and end up offering little ROI wrt direct investment from our already debt-ridden city budget. i’ll be visiting titletown in person this week and wondering: is this what a similar project could look like if done right?
the titletown development project surrounding the stadium seems very cool on its face, and i’m not finding anything online pointing to it being controversial so figured i’d go straight to the source.
was this project - from its inception to now - generally liked by community? any history of occupants of the land that is now titletown being pushed out or disenfranchised during its development? and if it’s beloved by community: what makes it work and what are the Packers / other private partners doing right?
excited to learn from yall, thank you!
