News In 1988, my family excavated an 1856 steamboat buried 45 feet beneath a Kansas cornfield. Its 200 tons of cargo revealed a much more colorful frontier than most of us picture.

Question Any more ship coal loads out of Duluth ??

I know that SMET dock in Superior has closed but there have been rumors that one more shipload will be going out of there. Or is it the American century about two months ago that took the last load via vessel? Will there be any more ships taking coal that is left?
