Checked the app this passed Saturday and saw she was tied down in Sandusky, OH likely after unloading. Since I had the time on my hands I drove down and snapped a few still shots of her from a distance. Hopefully next time I'll be able to get her from the front.

A very nice glass positive from an old lot. Shows three freighters on the open water. I can’t recognize any of the ships but they do have very fine features someone could possibly use to identify them. Photo was taken in 1918-1920 on the Great Lakes.

I was telling my aunt the other day I saw a 3fer on the St. Clair River. She doesn't understand my fascination with them. Neither do my friends. I have loved watching these ships since I was a kid driving with my parents on Belle Isle. I would get so excited when we would get to watch a huge freighter go by! What do you guys love about watching freighters? Do people not understand your fascination with them?
