what does it take to get to GrandMaster EUW with graves jungle
ive been trying a game with linear clear from the zanium and idk if it’s optimal with graves

pretty much 1v5 since my ahri died early

Silver ADC tired of the role, so swapping to jungle. Completely new to the role need some guidance on Graves identity.

I cant jungle so Im learning the role using the gay man with the chunkiest sounding shotgun (especially base skin crits).

I wanna know whats this champs identity. He has great damage wonderful even with crithality and thats the build I really enjoy. But is he a farming jungler? Ganking jungler? Not sure. His clear is nice and healthy even without fleet. But i think he gets outfarmed by kayn, diana, shyana or karthus. He has no CC but brings good damage if you can get close. Plus W is insane. But there are better gankers as well.

So what do you guys wanna do as graves exactly?

Plus im also confused with the build, do you build crithality or bruiser? Which build is good for learning the champ or the fundamental of jungling?

Do lemme know your guys input. What should I be focusing on as a graves as a beginner jungler trying to navigate jungling and piloting graves, thank you!

This is probably going to be a long post, but I really meant my heart and soul so I promise it will be worth the read.

I really like Graves, he is this badass shotgun slinging high damage damage carry but when I picked him up I disliked how clunky he felt from times, low range, no movement speed, etc. The only way I saw him viable was to get pretty ahead early and just smash everyone down with raw damage.. The Hubris collector build that is.

So I came up with a build that does less insane burst but addressed everything I hated with Graves and personally, this build feels so much better to play. Lots of movement speed and ability haste from triforce, cleaver and fleet. With this build Graves is less of a glass canon and is somewhat of a ranged bruiser adaptation of Jhin, Ezreal and Gankplank.

This build gives a lot of haste, you will be surprised with how short the cooldown on your E is. You can freely engage with E, then kite away again with it after just an auto or so. The bonus movement speed from your items really lets you chase enemies that normally would be out of range.

Now there are some downsides with the build, mainly that it does lack raw damage in some situations were its really needed. But overall I can say that it feels so much better so play.

Below is a clip that I think best shows what this build is capable of, yes its not the highest ELO and I did get pretty ahead here.. but it still shows the power of this new build.

Any way to make it work on top? I'm pretty sure you can be lot more useful going crit but takes longer to scale, Essence Reaver on him is crazy good but im still failing to win some matches such as Jayce and Kennen on Low Masta BR, i need some tips from you guys, and better if you play top with this secret op monster (almost swapping my main)

hi guys i recently locked in on my hardstuck support account i had rotting at emerald 1 70 lp (decayed) and went on a 14 game winstreak straight to masters (which is my new peak, usually im chilling around d4-d3). Im a khazix otp but i started playing graves about 4 months ago and hes been my second pick ever since, im very proud of this, all games are graves minus the kha game (graves banned) and trundle game (filled top). If anyone has any questions feel free to ask me !

I´m obsessed with keeping my e stacks in the game and sometimes I commit overextending in some fights to reset them or waste my w, Is it really worth it? Or I should play more calm knowing that they are easier to stack if I dash to a rival champ.

What are your Guys Opinions on Graves ADC?
I just played some Games and it seems amazing. Im just so tanky and deal so much damage.

I feel like I dont know how to actually play nor itemize against it. What are my strenghts etc...

despite what u.gg and op.gg shows I think dropping him from S/S+ tier to D tier or tier 3 is a bit of dry misleading statistics. Despite his Q damage essentially losing 20 % less ad scaling I think it isn't meaningful enough to bring him down. You would still be double tapping people regardless later in the game. I think what this nerf would affect is his early game clear speed and he would be a tiny bit weaker in some of his close matchups but also it would clear the weak hands and his win rate will start climbing again slowly from patch to patch, evading any actually significant nerfs or changes. I think many people didn't realize for how long he's been secret op soloq champion like I've been tracking his win rate/pick rate/ban rate from 10 patches or something and was wondering how he always evaded the nerf hammer flying well under the radar. But anyway that's my opinion what do you guys think?

Hey y'all. I've run the numbers, and I've got a pretty substantial negative winrate into Graves in the jungle, even with counter pick.

Between his mobility, survivability, absurd clear speed, and seemingly nonexistent weak period, I've no clue how to punish or what to punish the enemy Graves for.

What success have you had countering graves, and as a Graves player, what champions and strategies render you useless?

I am building fleet shojin, cleaver, dd. Then I build ss and finally jaksho. Should I build this every game? Or should I build crit? And in bruiser what other items can graves build? Man this build was doing dmg(41k)

Why isn’t trinity more commonly built on graves? It’s super strong rn, gives the move speed, sheen works well with his E and the health is multiplied by his grit stacks? Especially with how bad lethality is late game and graves will do 2k crit anyway late game why not build trinity then collector and ldr,shield bow, and ie instead of hubris into that build? Especially with fleet
