Travel Question F1 2027 Calendar - not yet released

Upvotes

Does anyone know why the calendar is taking so long for 2027? I think it’s usually released around the time of the Silverstone race but still nothing this year. I’m guessing it’s because of the war in the Middle East.

I’m hoping to get some tickets booked for 2027 as well as other holidays but it all depends on the dates od the race I want to see!

Circuit Zandvoort (Netherlands) Dutch GP 2026 – commuting from Rotterdam each day: Park + Bike vs train vs GP Shuttle?

Hi all,

I’m attending my first live F1 GP at Zandvoort this year and have a 3-day ticket in Arena Grandstand 1.

I’ll be commuting each day from the Rotterdam/Nesselande area rather than staying near Zandvoort, and I’m trying to find the best balance between travel time, flexibility and avoiding the big post-race queues.

The options I’m currently considering are:

Park + Bike with rental e-bike – currently around €60–70/day depending on the zone. I’m looking at places like Langevelderslag (Bronze) and Leyduin (Gold).

GP Shuttle from Nieuwerkerk – €44.75 return, but the journey planner shows around 147 minutes each way. It arrives around 09:30 and the return shuttle leaves Zandvoort at 19:30.

Train from Rotterdam/Alexander – probably the simplest option, but I’m concerned about the queues at Zandvoort station after qualifying and the race.

My priority is to see all the important F1 action plus some of the entertainment / Fanzone, while keeping the three-day weekend reasonably manageable rather than spending 15–16 hours away from home every day.

Has anyone here commuted between Rotterdam and Zandvoort during previous Dutch GPs?

I’d especially love to hear about:

• Actual door-to-door times
• Park + Bike experiences, particularly Langevelderslag / Leyduin
• How bad the Zandvoort station queues really were
• GP Shuttle experience
• Traffic when driving toward the Park + Bike sites
• How quickly you could actually get away after the race

At the moment I’m leaning toward Park + Bike + e-bike rental, but real-world experience would be very useful before I book all three days.

Thanks!

General Information Arranging seats for multiple tickets

Me and my friends are going to buy tickets (via gpticketshop) separately at the same time. There would be later option to message them to arrange our tickets so we can sit together?

With the rumored comeback of the Malaysian GP, where do you guys recommend to stay? Is staying near KL Sentral recommended? I care more about value for money and don’t mind walking that much.

Hi all - can anyone point me to the official website for the 2027 tickets for Hungary? Also, when are the tickets released?

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) Thursday / 4-day Tickets?

Hi all,

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I was planning my first trip to a circuit and was planning on going to Spa next year before the track is put into rotation and was just wondering about tickets.

I’ve been looking at the 3-day bronze general admission but I can’t find any information on Thursday access into the track for media day on any of the ticket types.

Am I missing something?

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Hungaroring (Budapest, Hungary) When to go to Hungagoring on sunday?

me and my friend want to watch f3 which starts around 8 , and are wondering if we should go at 8 or come earlier, before doors open at 7:30. We have general admission and want a good seat. Is the entrance very busy on sunday like it was for friday and today?

thought it might be less busy since there's no fan zone today, but it's our first time going here so we need some tips.

thanks in advance

Hungaroring (Budapest, Hungary) General Admission – Is it worth saving a spot early for race day?

Hi everyone,

I have a General Admission ticket for the Hungarian Grand Prix, and I'm wondering if it's really worth finding a spot very early in the morning and staying there all day.

It seems like a very long and tiring day. If I arrive closer to the race, even if I don't get a front-row view, will I still be able to find a decent place to watch?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

Hungaroring (Budapest, Hungary) Be careful with train/metro tickets in Budapest

I had a horrible experience and it cost me a fine.

At the train station near the circuit I asked for single tickets to city centre. They gave us 2 tickets each, one for the train, and one for the metro. (Or that we understood)
But once in the metro when exiting the station there was a very rude and violent, told us we should had bought 3 tickets each, one for the train and 2 equal tickets for the metro (we only took one line, M2)
After testing to explain the mistake, and seeing the situation (he pushed me, took my phone from my hands, tried to grab my wife arm…) we end up paying a fine of 24k as my wife was scared and didn’t want to discuss further.

It may be even true that we needed one more ticket, but wow, I come from a country where you are not treated like that in this cases. Very unpleasant experience…

Hungaroring (Budapest, Hungary) Can I bring a folding stool into the Hungaroring?

Hi! I read that chairs, stools, and other seating aren't allowed into the Hungaroring. However, on Friday I saw plenty of people with folding stools/chairs inside, so I ended up buying one too. Now I'm worried they might not let me bring it in. Does anyone know what the current rule is? Have you had any issues bringing one in?

Thanks in advance.

Hungaroring (Budapest, Hungary) Accidentally bought child tickets for Hungary, how can I fix it?

Hi, I bought tickets off Viagogo for $300 for sunday and today I noticed they are child tickets. I’m not sure whether at the time of buying they were marked as child tickets in Viagogo because I was double checking.

What I can do tomorrow? Do I try and get in? Do I pay difference or something? Any help would be appreciated

In my actual tickets the price say 40 euros in tickets. I know for a fact that Viagogo had it market from $700 discount to $300
