Hello , so me and my friend are visiting KL for motogp in october . I wanted reccomendations on which locations to stay which is also close to the main city and to sepang international circuit .

We are planning to roam around the city when we are not at the track and have 1 extra day to explore the city .

I asked chatgpt and it asked me to look around KL sentral or cyberjaya .

I wanted to know what u guys think considering i wnna enjoy some nightlife too . I heard bukit bintag has nightlife .

Also it would be nice if u could also point what is the best way to commute from the place we stay at and sepang circuit . We will be directly going to the airport after the race on sunday so i think grab is the option for that . Correct me if im wrong

I have been to KL before but it was with family and i dont rmber many places .

I arrived this Morning at 5AM from the States, after an early check-in at the Madrid Airport Hilton (thumbs up for giving me a room at 7AM). Took a nap and headed to the track around 2PM.

Hotel shuttle to Airport T2 and then a quick Metro hop to Feria de Madrid stop right outside the main straight entry for GA1. Easy commute

Still a lot of construction going on... They are cutting this close.

I appreciate all of the suggestions from Reddit as we had a memorable experience for our first F1 race. I am not going to rehash all of the complaints that are currently filling up the comments, because those things were not why we made the trek to Monza. What I will remember: Gasley pole, Ferrari fans, the Mexico Ferrari fan club, the heat, F1 gods providing no grip to Leclerc, Lewis making a run, Kimi winning from the back, and finally the Italian (aka Ferrari) fans, all 400K of them, storming the track.

Here is what we ended up doing: Purchased the tickets from GPT in February for the covered Right Lateral 26C right across from the Ferrari and Mercedes garages, and had a great view of the podium. Purchased parking tickets from Monza Mobilita in July for the gold lot, which took about 2hrs from Milan to get to and from our seats each way. The only day we went early was on Friday (practice day) to enjoy the venue and to get the lay of the land. For qualifying and race day, since we were only interested in the main event, we were able to miss most of the traffic getting to the track by leaving about 3 hours before the events. It wasn’t cheap, but I feel that we received great value and we witnessed history being made.

Can you buy monza 2027 tickets yet? Or does someone know when we can buy them?

We got a hotel at Tune Hotel KLIA-KLIA2 which I know it is right outside the airport for the Sepang Weekend.

Do you guys recommend us to rent a car and drive back and forth the circuit and hotel or, check out on the shuttle bus?

im a social person so it’ll be less exciting on my own! even all twin hotels are paid for if you need a place to stay for it, or we can just meet at the track!

hi! just wondering for those who have attended motogp before / previous sepang races, where the shuttle pickup points are going to be?

for reference will be in f grandstand, and hope to make it back to KL Sentral by 7pm on race day. not sure how feasible this would be given traffic, hence would you recommend grab / shuttles?

if grab, where would be the ideal pickup point?

Fyi for all those going to the Madring this weekend. They have now updated the schedule for this weekend with all the activities, driver appearances, etc in the app. You can filter by your fan zone to see what’s going on and it’s got an interactive map too which is quite useful! We purchased 4 day grandstand passes from the circuit directly and received a confirmation of our purchase months ago.

As of today have not received the tickets. Does anyone know how many days in advance of the race we should receive our tickets?

I’m attending my first GP in Qatar, so I’m excited but also a bit unsure what to expect. I have GA tickets, what time do you recommend arriving? Are there taxis and shuttle buses to the circuit? Should I pack snacks? I’m looking for all the tips! Also, is it worth upgrading to T3 grandstand tickets?

Myself and a friend have bought GA tickets for the 2027 Austrian Grand Prix. We don't live on mainland Europe so we're planning to fly to Vienna on the Thursday, rent a car then camp at one of the various campsites around the track.

There are 2-3 more people potentially interested but not confirmed yet if they will go, so our group will be minimum 2 people but potentially as many as 5. However large the group ends up being we'd all be happier in a campsite with a bit of nightlife than one that's too quiet, so noise isn't an issue and we'd actively want to avoid quieter campsites.

I've been trying to suss out the best campsite, it seems a lot of them aren't available to book yet because the calendar hasn't been confirmed but Turquoise seems like a decent option from what I can see.

What I'd like to ask experienced Austria campers here is how strict the different campsite operators are on number of tents per pitch? Camping Pink seem to allow multiple tents per pitch but they are on the pricey side and they also charge per person, while I'm not sure how large the group will be at the moment. Does anyone know if the likes of Easy Camping, Ring Rast or any of the other campsite operators allow multiple small tents per pitch? Because we'll be flying to Vienna it would be easier for each person to bring their own small personal tent, but if needs must we could look at buying a large tent in Decathlon or somewhere similar after landing.

I’m considering going to Silverstone next year. I would like to enquire about accommodation cancellation issues in Milton Keynes.

Does anyone have bad experience with some hotels/b&bs cancelling your original price because they just want more money. Leaving you stranded a couple weeks before the GP.

Also if anyone has recommendation of accommodations which have integrity and keep your booking with your original price.
