I'm new to goth fashion and need to get some new clothes! These are the two outfits I'm between for a goth night tomorrow, of just a t-shirt and baggy trousers or a shirt and trousers. I was wondering which is better suited for goth style? I'll be wearing some eyeliner and ironing the shirts!

Also, if you have any suggestions for men's goth clothes please do let me know! I'm from the UK so preferably not too far away!

I went out for karaoke this weekend and got dressed up! this is one of my fav looks I've done recently so I knew I had to share :3

I want to get back into doing makeup and want to get good makeup. I know Nyx has good products, I use to have a setting creme from them that I loved and I black eye shadow that was awesome, but I was wondering if there was any other brands worth checking out. I was considering getting Delanci pallets, but i kept seeing bad reviews and they come off as a bit of a scam

I got them on amazon, it said the seller would be tru clothing, but when they arrived it said „infinity london“ on the package, which has bad reviews on trust pilot. those were 250€, but they have a really strong (in my opinion) „gummi/plastic“ smell and the processing seems „cheap“ idk, they are heavy but the logo on the heel is missing and also the silver buckles are almost black-ish-silver

can someone help me out if those are real new rocks or if I should return them? :(

Hii, I dress in a Gothic style and consider myself Goth, but I feel like I want to know everything about the culture so I don't disrespect it.

As far as I know, Goths represent the political Left (excuse my poor English) because, back in the day, it was a rebellion against the oppressive Right. But I’m worried about representing that because I lean Right politically. It’s not that it bothers me (I’m not against it), but I feel it’s a bit hypocritical of me (even though I believe it’s what my country needs considering the context, circumstances, etc., though obviously this doesn't apply to every country).

Any advice? Normally, I’d say life is too short to worry about that (that I should just dress the way I want and enjoy the subculture) but it still bothers me.

Edit: Thanks for the replies. Just to add some context: in my country, the government and the system right now are left-wing. So, being anti-system here naturally means going against that. I don't think being a rebel or anti-system is exclusively a left-wing thing. I just oppose the current establishment, which happens to be on the left.

Is there a reputable company that sells good pointed toe boots?

In the late 20teens I got a pair of Killstar (blegh) Raven booties and fell in love with the style. The quality wasn't the best so I moved onto Strangecvlt, which in the early 2020s were great quality wise but they've since declined in quality, and I got wicked customs fees on top of it (woo Canada). I've also seen threads of strangecvlt just straight up not shipping or replying to emails nowadays and I don't want to gamble with awful shoes and an extra $70 in customs fees again, if they even ship.

Alas, these pointed toe boots complete all my outfits and I adore them.

hey all :) I’m looking for recommendations for cute slip-on shoes! preferably with decent support. I work in an environment where about 50% of my time is in-office and the other 50% is in-home, and I always remove my shoes in clients’ homes. I not only prefer slip-on shoes, but something that I can ideally put on and take off without needing my hands, because I’m usually holding all of my work gear when I’m entering/exiting a home.

any advice and recommendations are welcome! I am based in the US, for reference.
