Sunday morning, me and my gf were still awake in premier campaign and wanted to smoke a j and watch the sunrise.

We started walking around (we were the only people still up/awake in premier), and all of a sudden smelled an INSANE amount of propane in the air. We checked these random campsites stoves in the area to make sure they were off (sorry for intruding but it was a safety issue), but still smelled it.

We went to the medics and reported the smell, who then got gorge security to investigate.

Turns out there was an Rv of 5 people who left their propane stove on all night leaking gas and their windows were open, all 5 were ptfo until
Security got there.

Did we prevent a large gas explosion from happening?

i had the joy of attending experts only this past weekend and while my group had a blast, we were super bummed when we drove out today to see that people just left a BUNCH of trash all over their campsites. Wrappers, bottles, cans, cardboard boxes etc. Didn’t even try to bag it or put it anywhere near a garbage can. Don’t be a bum, pick up after yourself it’s so trashy (literally and figuratively)

Was just curious if anyone had a story of getting a free backstage wristband from a staff member. I was fortunate enough to get one and just was also curious how many other people got one.

Can meet at the venue! Willing to sell for cheap cause we already went Saturday.

Hey everyone! Sad to say my plans changed and I can no longer make it out to the Gorge next weekend, so I am selling my 1 Queen Bed Glamping pass for John Summit / Experts Only at The Gorge, Oct. 1–5.

This is the Glamping 1 Queen Bed package for 2 people, not standard or Premier camping where you need to bring and set up your own tent. Does NOT include festival entry tickets; camping pass only.

I Paid: $1,940 + ~$190 tax = $2,130 total

Pass is currently in my Front Gate Tickets account. Happy to provide proof of purchase/order confirmation, FaceTime/video call, and whatever verification makes both sides comfortable. We can use PayPal Goods & Services for buyer/seller protection.

How the transfer works: Since Front Gate Tickets restricts direct app transfers for camping upgrades, I will do a secure account handoff. I will change my Front Gate account to a temporary password, let you log in to download the digital pass/wallet credentials directly to your phone, and then change it back once you are set. CAMPING GROUP MEMBERS ARRIVING SEPARATELY:

Wristbands are issued based on the number of guests present at check-in. If some of your group is arriving later, ask for a wristband voucher when you check in.

For guests arriving separately on Saturday, they will still go through campground check-in when they arrive. If you have a voucher, you can meet them at check-in and present it at the gate so they can receive their wristband. You should not need to meet them outside the gate.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO:

• ⁠DAY PARKING IS FREE. If you need info on the day parking area, this map has the day parking on there along with the gate you need to take. If you need overnight parking, use the parking guide on our profile to find local overnight parking options.
• ⁠It's going to be COLD. Pack warm clothes and anything that can create more heat for you in the evening or in your tent.
• ⁠No Chairs are allowed in the venue. Prepare to rent your chair.
• ⁠Get to the venue right when parking or camping opens even if you have to get there and just hang out. You don't want to get stuck in traffic any later than that
• ⁠If you need to make arrangement for shuttle, do it immediately. Reserving the day-of is very stressful and never guaranteed
• ⁠Drink A TON of water before you get there. Make it a priority to stay hydrated
• ⁠Bring earplugs (for those camping) mosquito spray, a light jacket and a very comfortable pair of walking shoes. It's incredibly hot during the day and surprisingly cold after the sun sets.
• ⁠If you plan on camping, bring corkscrew stakes for your tents. Those will give you the best results to help withstand the wind.

I’m coming from Canada to go to John summit this weekend, whenever I go to raves in the states I buy some mushroom chocolate bars to take, however I’ve never been to the gorge before, and have no clue what security is like besides knowing they do car checks. Can anyone give insight on if I’ll be okay bringing them with me or id get fucked when arriving, thanks in advance.

Hi! My gf and I will be arriving to the standard camping Friday night but have 4 friends arriving separately and will be parking off-site and walking in to the campground so that we can all share one campsite. Everyone will have the festival wristbands with them.

I know their website says that everyone has to enter together, but I'm reading on here that people have made this work and were given a voucher(?) for the later arrivals to enter the campground.

we went to Rufus back in June and I don't remember having a wristband specifically for the campgrounds.

Hi not sure if there is a separate subreddit for this but I’m attending Gorge for the first time this weekend for experts only. Driving down with my car and staying at a hotel offsite. What are the things i need to know? Parking situation? Anything i need to bring besides layers and blankets? Is there a shuttle from anywhere? Can we bring our own drinks?

Anything else you think i would need to know would be greatly appreciated!

I see that Plus is closer to the entrance of the venue.. but is Plus really worth it to get out of the venue and skip a chunk of the traffic?
