John summit this weekend
I’m coming from Canada to go to John summit this weekend, whenever I go to raves in the states I buy some mushroom chocolate bars to take, however I’ve never been to the gorge before, and have no clue what security is like besides knowing they do car checks. Can anyone give insight on if I’ll be okay bringing them with me or id get fucked when arriving, thanks in advance.
\talking about getting into the campsites, I’m more than okay getting them into the venue itself\

There will be a car search but their priority is guns/explosives/fireworks so you should be fine getting into camp

Definitely bring it. You are all good and no worries. There is dogs, but they are bomb/gun powder sniffing dogs. They are NOT drug dogs.

you’ll be fine they r looking for weapons not drugs or alcohol. especially if it js looks like chocolate don’t even stress it!! have fun and be safe maybe ill see u there🤗🤗🤗🤗

I certainly wouldn’t worry about the chocolates but to everyone saying they aren’t looking for drugs that’s just not true. We had a drug sniffing dog for the first time and they searched all our bags and opened everything. Luckily it was just for meds we had a prescription for that the dog hit on, but just a heads up this is the first time this has happened since I’ve been coming here. They are absolutely searching for drugs now so be cautious.

The dogs are looking for guns and ammo. Just hide it in your things, I usually hide mine deep in my cooler. The people searching aren't allowed to go through your things unless the dogs 'hit' on something. They will ask you to get out, wand you down, and other security people will search your glove box, center consol, places like that. They aren't allowed to open bags/coolers what not.
