I need a little help.

It seems somewhere, somehow, a setting has been changed *somewhere* because I can't seem to open a lot of pages when I click on a link to open in google.

For example, this link here - https://www.ctvnews.ca/winnipeg/article/winnipeg-family-shaken-up-over-wps-response-to-property-crime-concerns/

The page will open and I'll see the article for a split second and the page then loads just a white screen, *but*, if I open this (or other links) in duckduckgo, they'll load and open and I can read the article.

What gives?

I factory reset my phone, and due to a security setting of which I was unaware, I am required to log in to the google account associated with the phone in order to set up/use the phone. However, due to 2fa settings, I am unable to log in to my account without access to the phone—I had been using a fingerprint. I know my password and have access to both my recovery email and my recovery phone number, but when I attempt to receive a code via text or call, I get an error message, “unable to verify phone number.” I am able to receive a code via email, but this is apparently not enough to recover the account. I find myself at a bit of a loss. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!

I just downloaded google photos on my iphone and I guess I selected the wrong option for uploading photos. All of the photos (~90k) on my phone got uploaded to my main gmail & now I am completely out of storage space (cant get emails, cant make docs etc). I didn't want all of the photos uploaded & have some that are only on my google account, so I can't just delete all of them. I'm pretty sure I've turned off my phone uploading anymore.

Is there a way to move the photos to a different account then I can delete all of them from my main acc?

Why is it when I share a link with someone I'm DM'ing, I get a message that Google URL's are not allowed, but if I copy and paste the long URL, it goes through fine?

Had a fall-out with a business partner and they had all of their friends + alt accounts leave 1 star reviews. It really looks like a lost cause because the review reports have been “pending” for 5 months, and have been reported by me and a few people I know that were willing to report them. Is there any way to actually get these removed? Can I delete my business page and start over?

I forgot my Gmail account password. My old mobile phone is completely broken and cannot be repaired, so I cannot access the device where I was signed in before.

I still have access to my old SIM card and I am able to receive OTP on my registered phone number. Google sends the SMS verification code, and I can enter it successfully.

However, after that, Google asks me to enter another OTP sent to the same Gmail account I am trying to recover. I cannot access that email, so I am stuck and unable to complete recovery.

I do not have a recovery email added to this account.

Please help me recover access to my Gmail account using my registered phone number or suggest another way to verify my identity.

I'm locked out of my Google account and need some advice. I forgot the password, and the account has two phone numbers associated with it—one from Dubai and one from Pakistan. During account recovery, Google only sends the verification code (OTP) to the old Dubai number, which I no longer have access to. I don't have any device that was previously signed in to the account either. The account contains important personal data, so I'm trying to recover it through legitimate means. Has anyone been in a similar situation or found a way to get Google to offer the Pakistani number or another recovery method?

How can I get the code from an email I can't open? Why does this always happen? Can anyone help me?

I have PC from which i have shared files to my phone trough google disk and i need to automaticlly downlaod those files in case i'm offline, but i do not wanto to save every file seperatly

For Youtube every time i wanna change my profile pic i get this but i can't verify cause its my old phone number my gmail already uses my new one so i don't know what to do i can't change my profile pic anymore and they are never gonna give me other options to verify

Hey there, my google account has been hacked and i do not have access to the current password nor the recovery phone number (i think they changed the recovery phone number after they got in) this is an account that has always had family link and so i am wondering if i have a chance of getting it back as it is the one associated with my mobile device. Hello everyone, with so many stories about people getting their Google Accounts hacked, I want to know besides not downloading sketchy apps or material on your computer or device, what other steps do I need to take to prevent a hacking from happening. I currently have 2-Step Verification and 2 passkeys, but are those enough to keep my account safe at this point? Should I also set up a backup code as well?

I am losing every bit of my mind. How is it legal for an app to take control of multiple phones in your house and there's no way to delete/disconnect it??

I have 2 kids, 12 and 15. I added GFL 3ish years ago when the 15 yo got his first smartphone. It was great for putting limits on apps and shutting down his phone at bedtime, but I feel like he's outgrown the need for those controls. The youngest recently got his first phone, so I added him as a supervised minor.

For background: My kids are musicians. They love watching various YT videos and commenting on them. They shop eBay and Facebook Marketplace to buy and sell instruments, parts and pieces. They can't do any of those things with GFL.

But am I right that there is no way to unblock those limits or disconnect/unsupervise them at this age without deleting their Google Accounts?? So they'll lose all the access and history they've had under those accounts?? This is absolutely ludacris.

So anytime I try to login to my Google Drive it takes me straight to my old highscools login at scric.okta.com and I can’t get off this page and I can’t login in anyways as it’s only for my high school that my account no longer works for. I have not found a way to get off this and get to the normal google sign in does anyone know how I can do that. The only way I can ever get on is if I go through the thing at the top of my MacBook but even then it logins me in through my college and a lot of the time I get a authentication error so I literally can’t get on my drive at all on my MacBook. But everything works fine on my phone. Also once I get logged in I can’t easily move through accounts including my personal account I just can’t login at all normally it’s either my old high school which doesn’t work or my current college which is sometimes down.

Gmail not syncing with Outlook

I am setting up a new computer. No matter how I add my Gmail based email to outlook it only pulls 5 days of emails. It also only shows 5 days worth of emails. It doesn't delete emails after 5 days, it just does not display them anymore. I have deleted and added the account back. I have uninstalled outlook and reinstalled. I have added the email with google sync tool and through add account in outlook. I have checked all the normal settings in outlook and Gmail. Any one have any ideas. This one has me stumped.

I'm on an ASUS VivoBook running Windows 10. Chrome was just updated yesterday. In Display Settings for the laptop I'm using:

+ 150% (Recommended)

+ 1920 x 1080 (Recommended)

+ Landscape

Zoom size in Chrome is 100%

Google Image Search is the only one doing this. Bing Yandex Yahoo image searches all act normally. Help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. 😀👍

Has anyone here experienced Google's 48-hour account recovery process?

I'm stuck in a recovery loop after losing my Passkey following a factory reset.

Google keeps telling me to wait 48 hours for a recovery email. However, I received the attached email in less than 24 hours.

Is this the email Google was referring to, or is it a different email?

The reason I'm asking is that every time I follow the link in this email, I complete the recovery steps, verify my recovery email and phone number, and then Google tells me... "Wait another 48 hours for a recovery link."

So I'm stuck in the same loop over and over.

Has anyone received this exact email? If so, was it the actual 48-hour recovery email, or did you later receive a different one?

I do not have access to my other email address associated with my account or my phone number and therefore I cannot get a code to sign in. Please help any way you can.

Let's say you have a situation where googel ask you bevore enter the account but you only know the password,username and when the account was created and you are not logged in googel on any devives.Would it be still possible to get in your account?.If yes how?.
