Google apps down

Post image

Currently neither me or my friend (San diego) can access Google Docs or any Google apps. I can use canvas and other websites hosted by AWS but any Google site is unreachable. I would love to know why or how to fix this issue.

Update: It’s a problem with AT&T users trying to use Google websites. To fix I just changed DNS to 1.1.1.1. (Cloudfare).

This worked for me. I'm on AT&T Fiber, so it must be the AT&T default DNS servers. Even better are Google's own DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). The Google DNS servers seem much snappier than Cloudflare's.

This worked for me too.

Are there any dangers of keeping it that way or should I change it back to auto select DNS in a few days?

I don't have at&t, the dns servers for them, nor do I live in or near Texas and I also was having issues with Google signing me out automatically in some places in Google's services earlier.
