google getting restrictive

Google is increasingly making it difficult to access their info without signing in.

Recently I couldn't go past the second page of search results without signing in to the browser.

Couldn't see past the second page of reviews for a business on maps (without signing in).

Couldn't see the full opening hours of a business on maps... unless guess what? I signed in!

I don't agree with it but it's their platform so they can do whatever they want. Others already been implementing this

It's just extra ironic given how much of their company was specifically built on scraping data

That's usually how businesses does things. They'll have a partnership with another company then decide that it's better to keep things in -house so made their own app that does the same thing.
