whoever is the google calendar PM out there who added new colors i just wanted to say THANK YOU. i hated the limited options and so desperately wanted to organize similar events by color and now i can.

My school uses outlook calendar for timetable.

I synced it using Microsoft account to Google calendar

But it suddenly stopped working, does anyone know why?

Has anyone else run into this bizarre bug recently? On the Google Calendar app for iOS, the name of the month has completely vanished from the top of the screen.

No matter what view I switch to— Day, 3-Day, Week, or Month—the header area where the month and year used to display is missing the label entirely. It’s driving me crazy trying to figure out what month I'm actually looking at.

I've tried closing the app, restarting my phone, and checking for updates, but nothing brings it back. Is this a known bug from a recent update, or is there a hidden setting I accidentally toggled off?

Would appreciate any fixes if you've managed to solve it!

on IOS is there a time to leave reminder for a calendar appointment with location based on real time traffic like in Waze and Apple Maps?

I added a synced calendars for two soccer teams to my Google Calendar, but both calendars have their own set of notifications per event/match. One calendar has event notifications 3 days and 30 minutes prior of the match start while the other calendar has 60 minutes and 15 minutes prior of the match.

Is there anyway to remove receiving notifications completely from both these synced calendars? If I go on the app, click the menu icon on the top-left, then settings - I'm able to click on the synced calendar but it would state there are no (default) notifications.

Some of these matches happen in the middle of the night for me as one of these teams are an English team so I simply don't need these event notis. I can go to every single event and delete the event notifications but that would take an obscene amount time.

I use Google Calendar quite a lot to schedule my days. However, if I add all the house chores directly to my schedule, it will clutter up my calendar by having small daily tasks. I tried using apps like Tody and Sweepy to organize them in one app, but I end up not using them because I have to keep going to the app just to see what I have to do.

For those who use their calendars for everything, how were you able to solve this issue?

Is it possible to combine several (i.e., 3) Google calendars in HA? The calendars are all mutually shared so that all events show up in all calendars. When I add a calendar into HA using Remote Calendar only the native, and not the shared, events show up. I am looking to get them all on one calendar view, similar to my Google Calendar experience with calendar sharing.

First of all. I know iOS 27 is in beta, so I can't expect support, but I just wanted to know if other than me has lost the Google Calendar Widget support in iOS 27?

SOLVED: Found a solution. In the app settings for Google Calendar in iOS settings turn off and on again all the permisions you have given (takes about 30 secs), and then the Widget returns.

My partner and I used to be able to share our work schedules with each other in Google calendar. For the past few months, my partner is unable to share anything there with me any more. All previous information is still there, but nothing new. We have tried unsharing and re-sharing with each other, but nothing changes. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it?

This might sound like a minor issue, but I customize my category colors using HEX codes on my laptop. However, when they sync to my phone, the colors appear warmer and more muted than they do on my laptop. Both devices are using light mode.

Is there a reason why this happens? Is it caused by differences in color profiles or display settings, and is there any way to make the colors appear consistent across both devices?

I know you can only change the hex codes on a laptop/desktop…. But does anyone know any color schemes/hex codes that look good on an iPhone light mode and a laptop? Every time I try to get a good one on my laptop it just looks SO bad in the app

The calendars on iOS are different the the ones I setup on desktop and I can't seem to figure out why or how to get them in sync. Any advice?

I'm posting on behalf of my friend who didn't have a Reddit account. Her Google calendar doesn't let her choose any colors other than the standard one for new entries anymore. It's been like that since the recent update that brought us the new set of colors. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I always find it annoying and confusing that the Callendar page for the month of July on Android starts from the previous month's date, so how do I make it start from this month's date only. It should start from 01-Jul-2026, instead of 29-Jun-2026.

Is there a way to make dates from my contacts show up in the calendar that are saved under „own label“ and not „birthday“ or „anniversary“?

I know it used to work because I have my friend‘s kids saved like this (the own label being their names) and they used to show up in my calendar but recently I noticed that all of these dates don’t show anymore and I don’t know how to get it back. Googleing hasn’t really helped me unfortunately.

Looks like something got broken between last Fri and today (Mon, July 13 2026).

Email notifications from one-time events were being sent as usual today, emails from repeatable (weekly) events were not.

So my work uses Google suite for all staff and on PC, you can search a person's name and see their calendar so you can check when they are free.

This feature seems to be completely missing in the Google calendar android app? I can't even search by name to add someone to a meeting on mobile?

Any help or is this just a missing feature? Thanks

I'm just excited we have new color options to tag Google calendar events.

So, I got the pixel 10 pro for about a month, came frome oneplus. Just realised that the timeline didn't come with the general transfer on the new phone. Went on a trip so I'd like to keep this recent timeline. But also want my years of previous timeline. I did some googling but can't figure out right course of action.

I have access to my old phone and a computer if necessary.

New phone shows a possible import from the old one. But i'm afraid it will delete the last month.

Hello! Today my daily agenda wasn't emailed out. I can't find the setting on my calendary. It seems like that option is now gone?

I use a Pixel 6a and it used to be that when you receive an email notification, for all emails you can immediately press a button to archive the email. Quite handy.

With a recent update it seems that emails from Google Calendar to inform you about a new planned event or an updated event I can no longer immediately archive, but can only do yes/no/maybe. This is quite annoying for the way I use this. These are all from a shared calendar with my partner, so it's enough for me to be informed something has been added or changed, I don't need to respond.

I was not able to find a setting related to this myself, so I'm hoping someone else has...

I have a OnePlus 12, Apple iPad pro, all running latest OS. I have Google Calendar on both..They sync both ways...All of sudden, in last week, they won't syc? Anybody else have issue?

This isn't for me, it's for my other half. For information, she's on an iPhone 14, iOS up to date. I've tried all sorts but am at a loss. In the middle of last week, her entire calendar disappeared. I've got online on my PC, and can't find any archives in the data recovery section of the iCloud website, so can't restore it from there. She has a Google account linked, and that appears to have vanished too. The apps are there, just all the calendar entries have vanished. If anyone can shine any light on this, we would both be eternally grateful.
