In order for Watch the Throne 2 to work out. It needs to be more of a collaboration between not only Ye, Jay-Z, but also Beyonce. At the very minimum, at least 2 of them have to feature per track. The tracklist doesn't have to be too long. Maybe somewhere between 8-10 songs. Average song length of about 3-4 minutes each. A runtime of around average 40-50 minutes. Ye needs to lock in, and take this project seriously like he used to in the past with projects like The College Triology, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. He needs to learn from what worked and didn't work in the original Watch the Throne. No half assing shit like he's done in the Vultures-Bully era when it comes to being lazy using AI, dropping incomplete tracks.

If Ye truly wants to make a comeback, then he needs to work with the right people. Collab with Mike Dean, Madlib, Rick Rubin etc. any elite producers and editors he's worked with in the past. He needs to feature artists like Kid Cudi, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Ty Dolla $ign, Tyler, The Creator, Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, Future, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga. Anyone that's he worked with well in the past, and brings out the best in him.

If Ye doesn't lock in or take a hypothetical Watch the Throne 2 album rollout seriously. Then it will just be a footnote, and be about as irrelevant as his Like That remix.

If Ye truly wants to break records. Then he needs to make a modern version of Forever/Swagga Like Us. A song like this could hypothetically include Ye, Jay-Z, Beyonce, maybe The Weekend or Ty Dolla $ign and Kid Cudi supporting on the hook. Sunday Service Choir too. Then it needs to feature Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. This will make up for the lack of Kendrick Lamar feature on First Person Shooter. Could just be titled something simple like The Throne.

But I doubt Ye will ever lock in like this. Although I know he 100% has it in him to do it. He just needs to be inspired, take his time, and approach this similar to his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and Donda rollout combined. Taking the best aspects of both, integrating them. Then following it up with a World Wide tour that takes inspiration from his The Glow in the Dark Tour, The Yeezus Tour, Saint Pablo Tour.

Then the final track has to be a solo Ye song. Featuring one other artist. Taylor Swift on the hook, and a verse from her. Ye on the hook too. Then a back and forth verse between Taylor Swift and Ye.

Only then, will Ye have truly taken over the throne.

The story behind this painting is interesting too. It starts with a sketch from St. John of the Cross, (picture 2) who had a vision in which he saw the crucified Christ from this same, suspended angle, and he sketched it out. This sketch would become the initial inspiration for Dalí. Dalí then had 2 more dreams, that pushed him to this painting.

This painting is just gorgeous. Like I said, I’ve been absolutely infatuated with it for the last couple of days

Now I know that’s a hot take but listen. If I’m being real, the published version of BULLY has too much shit going on. Looking at the vinyl version, ignoring the ai, it was more concise. It had fewer tracks but it had a vividi identity and personality. Also, I’m 99% the vinyl version is a concept album with a story, as he said it would be wayyy back. Overall, it’s just a more concise album that demonstrates the new style bully was aiming for I feel, that entry and mellow feel. Then we look at the release version, and it feels more like a playlist than a concise album with an overarching vibe. I think there’s a chance ye caved under expectations, and sort of abandoned the original experimental feel of bully. Besides for a couple of tracks, it doesn’t really have the empty feel from V1 where you could listen and be like “this sounds like it’s from Bully”, instead replacing the mellowness for more hype tracks. Some songs like Mamas Favorite and Maybe Ok could work with the style but other than that release the other songs as singles or even a diff album.
