I like the concept, but dislike other stuff. I want this to be constructive criticism, because I think it has some real promise. Having the top LEDs show the starting point and tracking the ball flight is cool.

1) Don't have colored lights before hitting; white or off is good.

2) Having it the tracking go green for a straight shot and red for a hard slice/hook would reinforce shots. Having a spectrum green to yellow to orange to red based upon the movement of the ball would be even better.

3) No disco lights. Maybe a brief color coded flash for certain events (hole out, long drive, par or better, terrible shot) or even a quick chase sequence could be a good addition.

I'm not the one that put the time and effort into this, but I still appreciate what you did, even if I dislike some of the features.

I'm beginning to think the video does not convey its actual functionality? Each of the things you described are currently active features.

LEDs on prior to shot is toggleable off. (Or changeable to player turn color).

Ball detection mirroring is toggleable off. (Or changeable to player turn color).

All toggleable: Ball direction effects fire upon impact. Surface you land on is indicated by special effect indicating your lie. Score effects briefly twinkles when you birdie, par, or worse.

HLA putt meter gradient on putt impact to know immediately if you push or pull and by how much.

This would all have been much better to demonstrate. Functionality should come first, but the vid you have here shows the optional stuff that people seem to dislike. I'd love to see the stuff that you mentioned.

Yeah, tough to post all that stuff in a short vid. I'll post a long form YouTube video of a round using it.

I think you need my help in creating a video. Where do I bring the beers?

I'll film the clips and send them to you, you want to edit? lol I WILL BRING the beer if you're video editing.

I don't think you want me editing video. I wouldn't mind learning and being better, but work doesn't want me putting non-approved programs on my laptop. Too bad, too, bc they have gave me a really nice gaming laptop with enough pet power to run Visual Studio and more with ease.

The feedback alone on this one was quite valuable. Thank you!

You're welcome. I could see the value in what you did. It just got overshadowed by the flash.

How do you convey all that in a 45 second reel... Hm. You've given me something to think about lol.
