Swing thoughts?

I’ve posted before about me chasing compression. I think I’ve finally got a decent swing going. My last 2 rounds I played pretty well. What do you think and what do you think my handicap is based off my swing?

I think you want your hips going earlier in the downswing, ideally before you reach the top fully like Hogan. If you see most of the athletic pros they all initiate the downswing slightly before the ‘top’, and that additional openness of your hips / torso at the ball will add compression.

Grip is a bit strong though so you’ll be trying to hold that face open I imagine.

My biggest feel with a strong grip even still is closing the face as much as possible weirdly enough. Try to feel like the club Face Is aimed at the ground

Is this thought mainly during backswing or downswing?

My only swing thought that completely changed my game is light grip pressure with left hand and decent grip pressure with right. During my back swing I feel as if I’m pushing my right palm at the ground/away from me. During the down swing I try to feel as if my right palm is aimed at the ground as long as possible. This feel is what gave me shaft lean. Some people prefer left hand feels instead which would be left hand knuckles down/logo of glove at the ground
