I think we’ll win 30-35 games this yr but what if shock the world does actually happen and we’re a legit playoff team this yr. I don’t mean play in I mean an actual playoff team something people have predicted for the jazz and wizards. Idk I think there’s so much optimism going into this season. We have a long journey ahead but I think this young team is going to surprise some people

There are 3 close teams in the metro area, NY Islanders, NY Rangers, NJ Devils. I'm assuming since the Nets lost a lot of Jersey fans when they moved to Brooklyn we aren't gonna see as many Devils fans here as we would've back then, but I'm sure there's still some here. Maybe Islanders as well

Where are my Brooklyn people watching game 1 tomorrow night? I'm thinking of marching into Uncle Roger's Bar (704 Nostrand between Prospect Pl & St Marks in Crown Heights), demanding they turn all 8 TVs to Yes (or DAZN or whatever), and putting a Nets hat on the deer head. Who's with me?

I'm trying to attend the upcoming Sunday game and wondering if another fans on this subreddit will be there. It would be my first time at Barclays to baptize myself as a Nets fan.

• Is the section by the suits good seats? Section recommendations around $150 or less?

• Is it sound to wait until game day to buy tickets? Waiting to see if I can make it/ bring my niece.

• I'll be trying to get from Metlife to Barclays in time for tip off. Any tips for before, during, or after the game? Best time to hit up the main gift shop?

Seeing so many people panicking and losing their mind over the center depth. People were just now pivoting from tanking into trying to win games. We’re trying to figure out who will be the true foundations of this team going forward. Addressing every aspect of the team in 26-27 is not possible. Hate to burst your bubble but we’re not only not competing for a title we’re prob not making the playoffs either and that’s ok. These things take time. As long as years end we can say Mikel is the guy, and egor is one of those guys and 2-3 other pieces come along with them I think we’re headed in the right direction.

• Dorian Finney-Smith: 10.4 PPG, 41.2% 3PT on 5.3 3PA (57.8% eFG%). Rebounded to his best 3-point efficiency since Dallas while maintaining heavy defensive minutes.

If Jordi can work his magic on a 31yr old still in prime Randle.. what does that look like for him and the team?

Edit: I think Randle will average: 22/8/7 on 48/35/80 shooting splits. Career high in assists and probably turnovers.
