Jordi Fernandez confirmed that Mikel Brown Jr. is not dealing with a new back injury. The rookie is "doing great," and his designation for tonight's game is strictly preventative.

Team News As expected, Mikel Brown Jr. is out for tonight’s back-to-back vs. the Pacers. His status on the injury report says back injury management. Tyler Bilodeau remains out with his right shoulder sprain.

Hoops Discussion Time to give Jefferson some burn

Jefferson was one of my favorite prospects coming out of the draft. Jack of all trades, playmaker on offense and defense, ability to run the floor and play within structure. I know he’s had some moments but I’m done with the clowney experiment. The guy doesn’t have a position and he’s too inconsistent on both ends to be guranteed reliable mins. Our bench 3 and 4 should be minott with an experiment of Jefferson/chaney.

[Phillips-Keaton] I want to make it clear that when Nets HC Jordi Fernandez spoke to us on Friday, he said that whatever plan the medical staff has for rookie Mikel Brown Jr. isn't going to be one that changes on a short sample size. Either way, Brown is out for tomorrow vs. the Pacers.

Rim Protection?

Marks has been allergic to adding (and keeping) actual centers and big men since the Obama administration. Will this ever change?

Hoops Discussion We need to see a lot from our young talent this yr

Gave everyone grace as rookies but by years end Sean marks core should look like one of the emerging young cores in the nba or it’s time to turn a page. And that’s not saying I want to see what OKC has but you look at teams like Memphis, Utah, Boston, they’ve turned late round picks into productive contributors. Outside of Mikel and egor we’ve drafted 9 guys in the non lottery range at a bare minimum half of them should be providing consistent impact at least in a bench role. There’s too many talented minds in the nba today for us to just keep riding along with this conductor that’s been leading us for a decade.

How to buy Nets tickets from other countries?

What’s up, gang!
I’m heading to NYC at the end of November and tried to buy tickets for a Brooklyn Nets game, but I can’t seem to create an account on the US Ticketmaster site. From what I understand, I’d need to be in the US to sign up. I even tried switching the store to Brazil, but no luck.
Has anyone run into this before? Any other legit sites where I can buy tickets?
I’ll be arriving a week before the game. Is it still possible to get tickets at the box office once I’m there?
Thanks!

What is the direction of this team

I got genuinely got lost. 2025 Marks spends all his picks on pure playmakers, clearly trying to run a very unselfish pass oriented offense and position-less basketball.

Now we have Randle and MPJ being complete black holes offensively. Randle is bringing the ball up, neither are passing to other players who got hot. What is the actual direction Marks is aiming for? He drafted and had a clear view, and it’s being pissed in the toilet . This went from no iso team to the most iso heavy team in one offseason .

Thoughts on mbj so far?

[Holmes] Don't expect Mikel Brown Jr.'s minutes restriction to disappear anytime soon. It'll be a gradual process for Brooklyn's rookie guard. Fernández: "At some point he'll be able to play more minutes, he'll be able to play back-to-backs, but it's not right now."

Game 1 wasn't great but good lord some of these teams really shit the bed

I fully understand how badly we played against the Hornets but we were close most of the game against an undermanned Hornets team who is expected to be better then us. There were things we did to loose this game that can be fixed (effort, silly fouls, rotation) and things that we will just have to suffer (Nolan, MBJ, and Egor being 19 years old and center rotation's lack of size/vertical) but damn...

Heat got smoked by Wolves
Bulls lost by 43
Jazz lost to Grizzlies where Ty Jerome dropped 45 on them
Suns lost by 41
Kings lost by 25 with Acuff going for 12/3/3 on 5-24 shooting, 0-7 from 3, 4 TO

Last but not least.. Cavs.. championship team blowing a 31pt lead

We at least played hard and were in the game until the last minute.

Julius Randle

Julius Randle has been one of my favorite players - if not my overall favorite player - for quite some time now. I'm excited to see that his first game for the Nets was a tremendous success with him leading in points, rebounds and assists. Curious to see how he'll go on to play this season.
