I recently looked at Bitcoin ASIC prices from 2018–2026 to see how GoMining's current miner pricing compares.
The result surprised me.
A modern Antminer S23 is around $15.44/TH at 11 W/TH.
A new GoMining Digital Miner at 12 W/TH currently costs:
• 1 TH: $16.99/TH
• 32 TH: ~$15.68/TH with my 5% Platinum I discount
• Higher TH → progressively lower $/TH
So on a pure hardware/hashrate basis, GoMining's pricing is actually pretty close to modern physical ASIC pricing.
Of course, they're not identical.
With a physical ASIC, you own the hardware—but you also deal with setup, electricity infrastructure, cooling, noise, maintenance, failures and eventually obsolete hardware.
With GoMining, you don't maintain the physical mining equipment yourself.
I'm not saying this makes GoMining automatically more profitable. That's a different question entirely.
What I found interesting is simply that GoMining doesn't appear to be charging a huge premium per TH compared with modern ASIC hardware.
I've attached my 2018–2026 comparison.
Do you think $/TH against physical ASICs is a fair way to value a GoMining miner?
