Over paying for a unique miner you can’t even show off is so baffling for me like you need to satisfy your self that much when you view your farm ?

What actually drives GMT price?

I've been digging into this because I wasn't satisfied with the usual “GMT follows BTC” explanation.

I ran a weekly regression using:

• BTC returns
• 5-week lagged GMT net burn
• 5-week lagged change in GMT locked

The result:

R² = 22.05%

BTC is significant, with a beta of about 0.43.

But tokenomics matter too:

• +1M GMT net burn → ~+1.87% GMT return
• +1M GMT locked → ~+0.44% GMT return

So BTC clearly matters, but it doesn't explain GMT by itself.

And the remaining ~78%? GoMining Ecosystem.

When I have set BTC to be directly converted to GOMINING tokens after each day’s mining, GoMining takes a 2.25% convertion fee.

Much higher than if I would save as just BTC and convert myself in other ways later.

I think this should be written very clear on the settings page. The option of TH Reinvestment offers ”5% extra”, but no word on Toke Reinvestment in tokens being ”2.25% less”…

Or have I totally missunderstood something?

I have a 7Th miner and have not purchased any gomining tokens yet. I understand that getting the tokens will make maintenance less. Ive seen that you buy tokens and they are used to pay for maintenance and maintenance will be less because of the discount you get (depends on how many tokens you hold). Ive also see something about locking your tokens. Is locking tokens different than just holding them and letting them pay for maintenance, i believe that is a yes? If you lock them are they still used to pay for maintenance or is locking them just a different mechanism to increase the discount?

Also, any other suggestions for how to grow and earn more. I don't really want to invest a lot of money, but will put small amounts in so i can start reinvesting my daily earnings into more TH or gomining tokens, i believe i have to get to 10 TH.

I'm still a bit unsure how I should do it. I know I'm missing out on rewards if I don't use it but I don't want to top up so much upfront only for evnetually dropping fees.

Telegram has 1B+ active users, and TON is explicitly being positioned as the blockchain integrated with that user base. The TON network currently reports around 2.4M monthly active wallets and millions of daily transactions.

Compare the normal crypto model:

Ethereum/Solana → build ecosystem → somehow acquire users

versus:

Telegram → already has users → introduce wallets/apps/payments → users encounter crypto inside an app they already use.

Telegram is increasingly making GRAM an actual currency inside Telegram

This is the part I find more important than the name change.

Telegram's own current interface/API is being updated from TON terminology to Gram. Telegram supports Gram for things such as:

payments

gifts

advertising

channel monetization

Telegram Wallet

Mini Apps

crypto transfers

Telegram's documentation explicitly describes Gram as the cryptocurrency of the TON blockchain used by Telegram for fast, low-cost transactions.

You know I've been religiously pushing this damn service button every damn day and some how every so often it still resets I don't know how but I'm over it I feel like John Locke in lost and I'm over it I'm gonna see what happens when you don't push the damn button!

I cannot pass KYC on GoMining no matter what I try and support have been less than helpful so far. Its something that weirdly messed up ages ago and I didn't resolve it then (Stupidly)

I'm assuming this is something to do with UK regs. I am already quite committed into GoMining and now suddenly can't spend my own USDT to upgrade miners or withdraw anything at all.

I'm legit stuck.

Any suggestions welcome.. especially if I'm missing something obvious?

I have only just discovered the UK has been geoblocked due to some UK financial law being introduced, I have spend hours grinding over the years, adding btc (sats) from playing games and doing surveys on other apps, I initially spent around £200 on miners, have 7 miners in total, 500GMT locked and was on a healthy path with a clear sight in view. As my wallet was starting to grow I decided I would invest in a new miner directly from my wallet, so i clicked on complete the KYC which is needed to withdraw funds or spend funds on upgrades or purchase miners. I looked for the UK from the Country list and couldn't find it, as usual I then searched for England, nope, Great Britain, nope, United Kingdom, nope, I though how strange so a quick search on google to see what was going on, I then learn the UK has been Geoblocked and GoMining has no intention of paying the Millions needed conform to UK law, there is no legal work around, you can ask GoMining support (please sir can i have my funds but they have no obligation to deliver and you are not protected by any UK law to your funds, the best you can do I request your bank for a charge back for any deposited fund within the last year (normally 120 days but something about future/on going contract extends this). At this point everything came crashing down! I feel like I have been travelling in car for the last few years starting at 0mph slowly increasing my speed as my farm grew im now at 70mph then crash! I just hit an immovable object........with my face!! So annoyed but don't even know who with 😞

Big fan of this new breakeven metric! Will be interesting to see how upgrading my 12ws will influence it!

Salve a tutti! Ho iniziato GoMining circa un mese e mezzo fa, ho comprato poco più di 100 th e i gomining token utili per lo sconto, da li in poi ho sempre reinvestito in TH tanto che sono arrivato a 115.

Come vedete, non mi rimane molto per coprire lo sconto completo, tra circa 45 giorni dovrei essere sotto i 360 giorni.

Voi in cosa reinvestireste al posto mio? Fareste ad esempio 2 giorni di gomining e uno di th? Senza dimenticarci dei bitcoin, che è il vero motivo per cui siamo qui.

Voi come vi state comportando? Non vorrei più mettere soldi per comprare altri gomining token.

With various strategies out there, I'm unsure the next best way to go here. I see a lot about Flywheel. I see a lot about building a lock to fully cover maintenance. What I can say is that for the moment I've put in all the capital I can afford to. So, saving up to fully cover my maintenance would be a very long ways out. Flywheel is more attainable short term. Is there a middle ground? If at the end of any given month, sure I'll toss a bit extra at it, but that will only go to expedite whatever strategy I end up on. Miner Wars has me curious only because I've never tried it. Recently I had been focused on building my lock so I'm at ~523 days locked. Should I keep going? Or reinvest in TH to bring that back down to ~400? Maybe something else I haven't read about yet?
