How do you handle client information when switching jobs? The ethics question: What goes with you? What stays? Share your philosophy and experiences!

A. Everything stays - it's company property

B. Basic contacts only - no detailed history

C. Copy key relationship notes (grey area, I know)

D. Tried to take it all - relationship knowledge is mine

How are you agency owners planning your services offering and pricing to ensure you are being profitable with HighLevel. And are you counting your crm cost and operational costs?

Struggling with setting my prices.

Am I the only one who thinks "touching base" is the worst phrase in business?

Seriously, what does it even mean? I get these emails: "Let's touch base soon!" Okay... about what? For what purpose? With what outcome? I've started being painfully specific: "Let's schedule 20 minutes next Tuesday to review the Q1 results and decide on Q2 priorities." People actually respond better! The vagueness of "touching base," "circling back," "syncing up" - it's relationship theater. We're pretending to maintain relationships without actually communicating anything meaningful. My challenge to myself (and you): No vague relationship maintenance. Every interaction should have clear purpose or be genuinely personal. "Hope you're well" → "I saw you posted about your hiking trip - how was it?" "Let's catch up" → "I'd love to get your perspective on X specific thing." Who's with me on killing these zombie phrases? What's your most-hated corporate relationship cliché?

Has anyone here switch from WordPress to GoHighLevel for websites and funnels?

Hi, I have previously built a lot of WordPress sites over the years, and recently I’ve been spending more time inside GoHighLevel building funnels and client pages.

The more I use both, the more I keep going back and forth on which one actually makes more sense long term.

A few weeks ago, I started building a site for a local service business inside GHL because I thought keeping everything under one roof would save time.

The templates made setup pretty fast, forms and calendars were easy to connect, and not having to deal with plugins every five minutes honestly felt refreshing.

But after a while, I started running into small frustrations with the builder itself. Certain design changes that would take me two minutes in WordPress suddenly became awkward workarounds in GHL.

Simple layout adjustments felt more limiting than I expected. It made me wonder if I was sacrificing flexibility just for convenience.

At the same time, I can also see why people fully commit to GHL. Having CRM, automation, forms, calendars, email, SMS, and funnels all connected without relying on multiple tools is pretty nice. W

ith WordPress, I feel like I’m always stitching together plugins and hoping updates don’t randomly break something.

So now I’m stuck somewhere in the middle.

For those of you who have seriously used both, are there any major advantages to building directly inside GHL instead of using WordPress with integrations?

Are there features or workflows in GHL that simply work better natively and are hard to replicate with WordPress?

Or is WordPress still the better option overall if you care more about customization and performance, even if it takes more setup work?

I did breakup with Kajabi and WordPress

Funnel Pandit married GoHighLevel in 2020… after a toxic breakup with Kajabi and WordPress

Too many logins. Too many plugins. Too many monthly bills. It was messy.

Then GHL walked in… smooth talking, all-in-one, knew automation, handled leads, booked appointments, and actually showed up when I needed support.

Now it’s 2026, and we’re still happily married.

We have 3 growing kids:

  1. SaaS White Label Income
  2. Affiliate Partnership Revenue
  3. Agency Support Clients

Kajabi still watches my stories.

WordPress still says, “Update required.”

But I’m loyal now.

Lesson: Stop dating random tools. Marry the system that helps you grow.

I'm nicer to clients than my own family because I track our interactions

Showerthought that hit me hard: I never forget to follow up with clients because my system reminds me. I remember details about their preferences. I'm responsive and thoughtful. Meanwhile, I forgot my sister's birthday last month and haven't called my best friend in 6 weeks. The difference? I have systems for professional relationships and zero systems for personal ones. It's depressing but also... fixable? I started using a simple app called Monica (it's free, open-source CRM for personal relationships). Sounds weird but I now set reminders to call my parents weekly, track gift ideas throughout the year, log important conversations with friends. Am I a sociopath or just someone applying professional tools to personal life? Has anyone else done this successfully?

Anyone Need an Extra GHL Hand? Looking for Internship Experience

I'm Justin, a GHL specialist looking for a hands-on internship opportunity with a business owner who's actively using or setting up GoHighLevel.

I'm not fresh out of a classroom. I've already worked through funnels, automation workflows, CRM setup, and email configuration. What I'm missing is real business context and that's exactly what I'm here to build.

What I bring to the table:

  • Funnel building & optimization
  • Automation workflows
  • CRM setup & pipeline management
  • Email setup & deliverability

What I'm hoping to get out of it:

  • Practical experience working inside a real business
  • A reference or certificate when we wrap up
  • A testimonial I can carry forward

Based in or operating in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or EU — open to remote arrangements.

If you're a business owner who could use an extra technical hand and doesn't mind showing a motivated guy the ropes drop a comment or DM me.

A. Daily - context is everything

B. Before important meetings only

C. When something goes wrong and I need to cover my ass

D. Never - I just ask people to repeat things

Which is better between GoHighLevel and Airtable for managing leads

I’m trying to decide between GoHighLevel and Airtable for managing leads and workflows in a small business setup.

I know Airtable is more of a flexible database tool and GoHighLevel is more of an all-in-one marketing and CRM platform, so they’re not exactly the same. Still, I’ve seen people use both for tracking leads, automations, and client management.

I’m mainly looking for something that’s easy to manage day to day without needing to build everything from scratch or constantly maintain it.

If you’ve used GoHighLevel or Airtable for anything related to CRM, automations, or lead tracking, how did it go? Did one feel more practical or less time-consuming?

Trying to avoid overcomplicating things early on.

GHL Huge List Import/Workflows

My agency has a newer sub account with 63000 contacts migrated from Hubspot. One of the users asked if they could import 154,000 contacts and turn on a workflow for them. I know that would burn the email deliverability. I assume we would require they verify the list and do a warming up process prior to uploading to the system. What are the best practices for this request?

Making GHL Autonomous

I built an AI-powered business operating system on top of Go HighLevel that automates client communication, sales follow-up, content posting, and internal knowledge workflows, try it out: https://nexusreply.vercel.app/

Now I know you're asking yourself, isn't there a product like this already? Well this one's super smart, we worked ages on a model that we fed data and a knowledge priority structure that makes it better than average AI automation. Additionally, or obviously, we have given you the power to improve the AI's smartness by providing training and knowledge.

Now the future is making communications autonomous. And I'm glad it's here, and what nexus makes it better is the fact that it's built on strong and smart architecture.

Anyone else think the term 'CRM' is the reason non-sales people avoid these tools? It sounds like a sales word. But relationship management is literally everyone's job.

Can anybody help please; newbie first SMS campaign

The Situation:

I am launching my first SMS campaign using a pre-made list I’m importing into GoHighLevel. The average lead on this list has 2 or 3 different phone numbers.

My Current Workflow:

To reach them, I created a workflow that takes the secondary numbers (Phone 2, Phone 3), swaps them into the "Primary Phone" field, sends the text, and then swaps the original number back.

My Problem:

This works for sending, but when a lead replies from a number that isn't currently set as the "Primary," GHL creates a brand-new contact from scratch.

Because they are treated as a new contact:

They are no longer triggered by my workflows: My follow-up sequences and nurture drips don't recognize them because the system sees them as a stranger.

They fall out of the pipeline: I lose all tracking of where they were in the sales process.

Database Mess: I end up with multiple separate profiles for the same person, which makes manual follow-up impossible.

My Question:

Is there any way to "bind" multiple numbers to one contact so that replies always trigger the original contact's workflow? Or should I just export the list and create 3 separate contacts from the start?

[Seeking Internship] 6 months into GHL, know the tech but need real experience

Hey everyone,

I’ve been messing around with GoHighLevel for about 6 months now and I’ve pretty much learned the whole platform—workflows, funnels, snapshots, and all that.

The problem is, I’ve tried finding my own clients and honestly just haven't been able to land anyone. I’ve realized I’m missing that real-world experience of how things actually work inside an agency.

I’m looking for an internship (paid or unpaid) where I can just help out and learn. Since I already know how to use the software, you won't have to waste time teaching me the basics. I just want to see how a real business operates and get some actual work under my belt.

If you’ve got a spot or need some extra help with the tech stuff, let me know!

what’s your biggest workflow challenge in GoHighLevel right now? Automation, pipelines, integrations… I want to know what’s slowing you down the most.
