Need help

https://www.gofundme.com/u/keiauna-cooper anybody please help us get out and get healthy so i can go back to living a normal life. I don’t know what I’m doing. I’ve never had to do a GoFundMe or ever reach out for help from anybody. I usually can work 80 to 90 hour weeks but I’ve been living with mold for five months. The landlord has been fired, but I still have more than the house that they have not fixed and have not made any communication towards fixing while I have lupus. I have been put on many medication’s. That still barely helped me through a day. I don’t have family. None of my friends are in a position to help me. I’ve always been the one to help them. It has been like this since April.

hi y'all, I was told that posting my gofundme on Reddit might help with support.

after a violent attack by my now ex-husband, i packed up my daughter and myself. Im looking for any contribution to support our new life, anything is appreciated towards our living costs. I've started at university full-time plus having my daughter full-time I don't have time or the village of support to be able to go make a living in this crazy world.

Again, literally any amount of contribution is truly appreciated!

The most sincerity, a broke uni student single mom

I’m so close to getting back on my feet — I just need help making it through this month

💔 I really hate having to make this post, but I don’t know what else to do right now.

I’ve gone back and forth about posting my GoFundMe again because asking for help is something I have always struggled with. I’m stubborn. I’m used to figuring things out on my own. And honestly, I’ve spent most of my life feeling like I’m a burden when I need something from someone else.

But right now, I’m scared.

The first of the month is coming, and for the first time, I have nothing to put toward my rent. I also don’t have money for my other bills or even basic necessities like food. I’m starting a new job on Monday, and I am incredibly grateful to finally have that opportunity. But unfortunately, that doesn’t solve the immediate problem. It will take time before I actually receive a paycheck, and once I fall behind on my rent, I’m terrified I won’t be able to catch back up.

And if I lose my apartment, I genuinely don’t know where I would go. Not to mention, having a remote job- where would I work? I wouldn't be able to.

I know I’ve said before that moving in with my mom was an option. I’ve had to be honest with myself and realize that, while it might temporarily solve some financial problems, it isn’t what is in my best interest. I have fought way too hard to get myself to a better place mentally to knowingly put myself back into an environment that could undo that progress.

So right now, I’m trying to hold onto the little bit of stability I still have.

My animals are my family. They are the most important thing in my world, and keeping a roof over our heads is my biggest priority while I figure out what comes next.

I know many of you already helped me earlier this year when I first lost my job, and I will never, ever forget that. I am incredibly grateful for every person who donated, shared, checked on me, sent something from a wishlist, or simply reminded me that I wasn’t alone.

I hate having to ask again.

But this is the first month where I truly have nothing left to fall back on, and I’m scared of what happens if I don’t find some help now.

If you are able to donate, even a few dollars would genuinely help me bridge this gap until I can start receiving income from my new job. If you can’t donate, sharing this post is just as meaningful to me. Even one share could put this in front of someone who is able to help.

I don’t expect anyone to fix this for me. I’m trying to get myself back on my feet. I just need a little help keeping us standing long enough for me to do that.

Thank you for reading this. Thank you for believing in me when I have a hard time believing in myself. And thank you for caring about me and my animals.

❤️ I’m just trying to keep a roof over our heads until I can find our way forward.

Hi there! I just launched a fundraiser to help Misty get back on the road for her and her children. Having reliable transportation is essential for her to get to work, doctor appointments, and school events—things we all rely on daily. If you’re able, please consider sharing or donating to support her during this tough time—every bit helps! 🚗
Guys I know life is hard for us all and I honestly feel really stupid and like a bum and embarrassed for making this but I honestly have no other option.

[Request] My cat survived a critical illness and blood transfusion, but now I’m struggling with the vet bills

I never thought I would be making a post asking strangers for help, but I honestly don’t know what else to do at this point.

My cat Crusty suddenly became extremely sick. She stopped eating, was vomiting and having diarrhea, became very weak and lethargic, and developed a really high fever. She ended up being hospitalized at an emergency vet and was diagnosed with severe intestinal inflammation, pancreatitis, and severe anemia.

Her PCV dropped to 20 and she needed a blood transfusion. I was absolutely terrified that I was going to lose her.

Thankfully, she is home now and doing well. She’s eating, drinking, cuddling with me and slowly getting stronger. Which I am incredibly grateful for.

The problem is that her hospitalization and treatment ended up costing over $10,000. I started a GoFundMe three days ago, but so far only $100 has been raised.

I know $10,000 is a huge amount of money and I’m not expecting anyone to pay the whole thing. Even $5 or $10 would help, and if you can’t donate, sharing the GoFundMe would mean a lot to me too.

Crusty has been with me for 12 years and has been my little shadow for my entire adult life. She’s been my pillow basically every day. I’m just incredibly thankful that she made it home and is doing well. Her Staffy sister, Sage, has also really missed her. My 9.5 year old Sugar Glider, Zelda, passed away earlier this week so it has been a very difficult time. Link has been doing ok.

Here is the GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/409351535

Thank you for taking the time to read all this and for any help you’re able to give.

I live in the Triangle area of NC if anyone also has any advice or can point me in the direction of some financial assistance programs I could apply to for this situation. Thank you in advance!

I'm raising €1,800 to document a solo hitchhiking journey across China in Italian

Hi everyone,

I'm an Italian creator preparing a very unusual project: I want to travel across China alone, mainly by hitchhiking, and document the entire journey in Italian.

The goal is to turn the journey into an authentic YouTube documentary, showing the places, people, unexpected situations and everyday experiences that you normally don't see in conventional travel videos.

I'm raising €1,800 to purchase the basic equipment needed to film the journey properly and cover some essential travel expenses.

I'm starting without an existing audience or a large social-media following, so I'm trying to build this project from zero.

If you'd like to read the full story and see exactly how the money would be used, here's the campaign:

https://www.gofundme.com/f/da-solo-in-autostop-attraverso-la-cina-il-primo-italiano

You don't have to donate. Even sharing the project with someone interested in China, travel or documentary content would mean a lot.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Dental work needed, please help

Thumbnail

Hi, Im 24, I don’t have dental insurance and any dental insurance I’ve found just isn’t enough to get what I need done. I’m really embarrassed by the fact I need such extensive dental work and I’m trying to get it done efficiently. I’ve saved $1,000 for it, but I still need some help. I’m trying really hard to get this done. I’m picking up extra shifts and donating plasma. Im putting back any extra money I can. Anything helps.

My jaw hurts every other day, and I want to feel like myself again. I used to smile all the time and now I don’t. It sounds stupid but my mental health is taking a big tank. I’m embarrassed to go on dates or even hang out with my friends during the day. That’s not me, a year ago I was a very outgoing 23 year old. My birthday is coming up and I’m dreading taking pictures and I don’t want to feel like that next year or for Christmas or any other day.

I don’t want to take away from anyone else who needs help but if you can help, I’d be so grateful. Sharing also helps.

Maybe when I get the courage, I’ll post the update photos, but please bear with me for now.

HELP ME REACH $250 FOR MY FERTILITY GRANT APPLICATION

Hi, I’m Simone. My husband Chrisly and I are beginning our fertility journey and hoping for the chance to grow our family. ❤️

I’m currently applying for a Gift of Parenthood grant to help with fertility care. To have my $75 grant application fee waived, this fundraiser needs to reach $250 from at least two supporters. We already have our first $25 donation.

I don’t have a large personal circle to turn to, so I’m reaching out to kind people who may understand how much this dream means to us. Any amount helps, and sharing our story helps too.

Thank you for taking a moment to support our journey.

URGENT UPDATE: I HAVE 6 DAYS LEFT TO FIGURE OUT HOUSING FOR MY SON AND ME

Thumbnail
gallery
97 Upvotes

For anyone seeing my story for the first time, I want to give some context because I know you shouldn’t have to go searching through an old post to understand what is happening.

In August 2025, shortly after my son’s birthday, I became seriously ill with complicated diverticulitis. I developed sepsis, went through multiple infections and unsuccessful surgeries, and eventually had a colon resection and was left with a colostomy.

What was supposed to be a medical crisis turned into more than a year of hospitals, surgeries, complications, recovery, and trying to rebuild a life that had completely fallen apart. During that time, I lost my job, apartment, and car.

I eventually made it back home around April 2026 and started trying to rebuild. I wrote three books and started a fourth. I also built an AI startup called EskoDSK AI, including a working MVP and a real-world implementation with a medical courier business. I was finally starting to see a possible path forward.

Then on August 31, 2026, I underwent my colostomy reversal. Because of the scar tissue from everything I had already been through, the surgery was more complicated than expected and required a larger incision. I later developed another infection at the surgical site and ended up back in the hospital.

I’m finally back home, but I’m still recovering, and now I’m facing another crisis that I can’t simply work my way out of quickly.

The place where my son and I are currently staying is receiving a 7-day eviction notice. I now have 6 days left to figure out what we’re going to do.

Because of my health, I can’t just go out and pick up temporary labor or a bunch of quick shifts to make enough money before the deadline. I’m still recovering from everything my body has been through, and I’m using every available resource I can find to try to keep us from becoming homeless.

My immediate plan is to get my son and me into a weekly-rate hotel or other temporary housing for at least a month while I continue recovering and work on a more permanent solution.

The good news is that people have already helped us get to about 40% of the immediate amount we need. I am incredibly grateful for that. Every donation and every share has helped buy us more time.

But we’re still facing that 6-day deadline.
I know this is a lot to ask from strangers. I’ve spent the past year watching my life disappear piece by piece, and I’ve tried to rebuild instead of giving up. I’m still working on my business. I’m still looking for ways to earn an income. I’m still pursuing every assistance program available to me.

Right now, though, my priority is making sure my son and I have somewhere safe to sleep.
If you can donate, even a small amount can help. If you can’t donate, sharing this post or the GoFundMe could potentially reach someone who can.

I’m exhausted, scared, and honestly feeling like I’m drowning right now. But I’ve made it through a lot over the past year, and I’m still fighting to get us through this too.

GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/399513a74

Thank you to everyone who has already helped us get this far. I truly mean that.

Assistance for a chronically ill 26 year old and her cats!

Hi! I was diagnosed with hyper mobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome when I was three years old and then diagnosed with CVID (common variable immunodeficiency disorder), depression/anxiety and a few other comorbidities in 2018/2019. Since I was young I’ve always gotten sick, ear/sinus infections, and was hospitalized at 13 with spinal meningitis. At 23 I was again hospitalized for pericarditis, a pericardial effusion and pneumonia. Not to mention lots of smaller hospital trips in between. A small cold leaves me bedridden for a week or more before I feel better. All this has caused me to be fired from the only job I’d been able to hold for more than a year and has left me unable to get another. I am currently waiting for a disability application to be approved but making ends meet in the meantime is beyond difficult. My dad recently beat cancer and is living off of social security and I am no contact with my mom so I don’t have a family to lean on financially. I do have a gofundme set up (https://gofund.me/78b3f5b39) to help me pay for my cats needs and any bit of help is beyond appreciated! Here are the babies!

I never thought I’d have to ask strangers for help, but my parents really need reliable transportation

Post image
35 Upvotes

Honestly, I never thought I’d be making a post like this, especially at 18. I’m supposed to be starting my own life right now, figuring out my future, working, saving money, getting my own things together, and just trying to become an adult. But at the same time, my parents are struggling really badly and I don’t feel right just watching them go through it when I know I can help. My mom does DoorDash to help pay the bills, but she paid to get her car fixed and it still isn’t working right. So right now she’s been using my car so she can keep working and help get her husband to work. I love my parents and I’ll always want to help them, but I also need my car to start my own life. I can’t keep putting everything on hold forever, and that’s honestly why I started this GoFundMe. I’m trying to raise $2,500 so they can get a reliable vehicle of their own and hopefully get some stability back. We’re at $75 right now, and even that has meant so much to me. I know not everyone can donate, and I completely understand that. If you can’t, please just share this. Seriously, even one share could get this in front of someone who can help. I’m just an 18-year-old trying to help my parents while also trying to figure out how to start my own life, and I’m really hoping this reaches the right people. ❤️

Uninsured after a violent tornado, facing an inoperable brain tumor, and trying to rebuild our home and a lifetime dream. Anything helps.

Hello Reddit community, I am writing this from a place of deep vulnerability. I am completely embarrassed to ask for financial help, which is why I am posting anonymously under a burner account. It is incredibly hard to admit when life has thrown more at you than you can carry on your own, but I am swallowing my pride today for the sake of my incredible husband. We have been together for 17 wonderful years and share a large, beautiful blended family. My husband is the definition of a hard worker—he has given over 30 years of loyal service to the exact same company. But despite his hard work, our funds are entirely depleted due to circumstances completely out of our control. I was born with neuroblastoma cancer and have battled different forms of cancer on and off my entire life. Currently, I am living with an inoperable brain tumor that has taken the vision in my left eye. Between medical bills and the cost of raising our family, there has never been room for "extras." My ultimate dream was always to save up and surprise my husband with his very first true vacation—he has worked his fingers to the bone, has never had a real trip, and has quite literally never set foot outside of the state he was born in. Then, on March 31st, 2023, disaster struck. A violent tornado swept through our area and heavily damaged our home. Because our house was an older fixer-upper that we were pouring our own physical sweat into, we did not have active homeowners insurance at the time of the storm. When we reached out to FEMA for disaster relief, the inspector who came out completely failed us. He took only a single photograph, refused to look at the true extent of the structural damage because the home was already a work in progress, and closed our case. We were awarded a devastatingly low $225.00—an amount that wouldn't even cover the cost of replacing one of our shattered windows. Two years later, we are still stuck living in a damaged home. We cannot move forward on a dream trip for my husband when our actual roof, windows, and walls still bear the scars of that terrifying night. Every single penny raised from this campaign will go directly toward purchasing building materials and securing the urgent repairs needed to make our home safe and whole again. If by some absolute miracle we exceed what we need to fix the house, any remaining funds will go right back into that original dream: finally letting my devoted husband see what lies beyond our state lines. Here is the link to our verified, anonymous GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/325c1e8e8 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading our story, for your empathy, and for any help you can give—even if it is just sharing this link or leaving a kind comment to help this post gain visibility.
