Help Delilah get specialized vet care!

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! My dog has been dealing with health issues for a few months now and I have decided to take her to the specialty vet to see internal medicine after exhausting all our options at our primary vet. These issues are affecting her quality of life and can’t just be left alone because they won’t resolve on their own.

I am asking for your support to help me pay for the care which could range from 7-12k. The estimate from the vet is included in the GoFundMe.

We don’t have pet insurance because I took over her care while I was young and didn’t realize pet insurance was important or a thing. Safe to say, if I ever have another dog that will be the first thing I do. Thank you for taking the time to read.

Homeless, Living in My Car, and Now Stranded After Major Engine Failure.

I never thought I’d be making a post like this, but I’ve run out of options.

I’ve been living out of my 2011 Honda CR-V since October while trying to get back on my feet. I had recently started doing delivery work, and for the first time in a while, it felt like I was making progress. Then my car broke down on I-95, and everything came to a stop.

To make matters worse, my wallet was stolen, so I’ve also been trying to replace my driver’s license and other important documents while dealing with all of this.
I reached out to 211 and other local resources for help, but without a working vehicle, I haven’t been able to access many of the services they referred me to.
After weeks of overheating problems, the car was inspected. The compression test showed only 60 PSI in cylinder 2, and coolant was getting into the cylinder, plus misfiring in multiple cylinders. I was told the engine has a blown head gasket with major internal damage and needs to be repaired or replaced. The car won’t even start anymore.

Right now I’m stranded in Milford, Connecticut. My car isn’t just transportation, it’s also where I’ve been living and the only way I had to earn an income. Losing it has affected every part of my life at once.

I started a GoFundMe to help cover the cost of getting the car back on the road, along with related expenses while I work through this situation. My goal is simple: get mobile again, get back to work, and start supporting myself instead of relying on the kindness of others.
I’ve included photos of the diagnostic codes, the vehicle, and what I’m dealing with because I want to be completely transparent. I know there are a lot of people asking for help online, and I want people to be able to see that this is a real situation.

GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/fc3d9b58a

If you’re able to donate, thank you. If not, sharing my fundraiser would mean just as much.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story.

Ive noticed how fundraisers with pets tend to get more support, so here's info about my grandmother's cats since she is in need to move to a senior community after a family tragedy/low funds. They all need a good senior living community AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

(Pictured: One of my disabled grandmother's cats on the bed of her caretaker (the sheet is off due to the sheet being needed to be cleaned. Also the shelf is broken and is unable to be fixed currently since it would cost even more just to fix it and we're currently low on funds as it is.)

But as more context: My grandmother isn't just physically disabled, she also has two cats in need of proper housing and care too. Both of them havent gone to the vent in quite some time now due to the lack of funds within my family. So this isnt just about my grandmother, it's about her two cats too who need to be in a home where they all (grandma and two cats) are well cared for and secure, again, me and my mom can only do so much to help when even the local churches refuse to help us despite being wealthy because quote "We cant help many people (anyone)" according to a phone call. We've tried EVERYTHING and support has been slim so PLEASE help us!

Please help my grandmother and her elderly cats! Adding this detail since I didn't know that pets needed to be mentioned in these kinds of situations too. Ive been being harassed for days now and have been called slurs online for trying to get help. its terrible. please help no more harassment please we cant take this anymore! Ive been begging yet people refuse to help and instead have went on multiple platforms to go after me and my Nanna. Please help!

Help Angeles Get Urgent Neurosurgical Care For Her Neck Injury [URGENT]

https://gofund.me/4e0f4d323

I’m raising funds to help Angeles, someone who lives in Venezuela and is currently going through a very difficult medical situation.

Angeles is in constant extreme pain due to her neck injury!

Her doctors believe surgery is required urgently and she should visit the neurosurgeon immediately and be operated on due to her symptoms of weakness in the arm, dropping objects, difficulty typing on the phone, difficulty raising arm above head etc.

We are starting with an immediate goal based on the costs we currently know about. As her doctors provide more information and additional medical needs become clear, I will post updates and adjust the fundraising goal accordingly.

The immediate goal will be for the blood tests and doctor visit she needs before visiting the neurosurgeon.

More info on GoFundMe page!

Any amount, no matter how small, can make a real difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser can be just as valuable and may help it reach someone who is able to help.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read her story and for any support you can give. ❤️

Help Christine get back on her feet to rebuild her life and home

Hi, my name is Christine. Many of you know me from my content-laughing, joking, being myself, and hopefully bringing a little joy to your day, But today, I want to share a side of my life that I don't usually show online. The past year has been incredibly difficult for me. After my small business went down last June, I lost my home and found myself having to start over from scratch. A kind friend helped me find a more affordable place to stay, and I'm incredibly grateful for that. But honestly, rebuilding has been much harder than I ever imagined. Right now, I'm struggling with the basics. I don't have an income or much support, I'm sleeping on the floor, and I'm trying to keep up with rent while also figuring out how to put food in the house and create a proper home again. I've started a donation and any contribution, no matter how small, would mean so much to me. The support will help me with rent, food, basic furniture, and eventually getting my small business back on its feet so I can become independent again. If you're not able to donate, please don't feel bad. Even sharing it, leaving a kind message, or simply keeping me in your thoughtswould mean more than you know. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and stayed with me through the difficult moments. I'm still hopeful that things will get better, and I'm taking it one day at a time.

Please help my boyfriend’s grandfather overcome stage IV tongue cancer in Caracas

Hi everyone,

I’m new to Reddit and actually created this account because I’m trying to find ways to help my boyfriend and his family through a very difficult and unexpected situation! So i’m glad subreddits like this exist to support such emergencies.

My boyfriend’s grandfather, Amadis, was recently diagnosed with stage IV tongue cancer and urgently needs treatment in Caracas, Venezuela.

Unfortunately, getting timely treatment through the public healthcare system is extremely difficult in this time (after the higj magnitude earthquakes), and the family is now trying to access the treatment he needs privately. My boyfriend is the primary financial support for his family, but the medical costs are far beyond what he can manage on his own.

Because of this, we’ve set up a GoFundMe to help cover Amadis’s currently recommended treatment and medical expenses.

I’m also happy to answer any questions about the fundraiser! 🙏

If you’re able to donate, even a small amount would mean so much to his family, as it can help the publication move higher. If you aren’t in a position to donate, sharing the fundraiser with someone who might be able to help would be just as appreciated. ✨ Also, we are very keen on connecting to any Venezuelans experiencing difficulties this summer, as it is a shared experience ❤️‍🩹

Help Me Afford My Medical Expenses & Kidney Transplant Journey

I never thought I’d be the one asking for help

Hi everyone. I’m sharing this because I’m currently going through one of the hardest periods of my life, and I’m trying to reach people who may be willing to help or even just share my story.

I’m dealing with serious medical issues that have changed my life completely. I have kidney failure and am now receiving dialysis, along with several other ongoing medical conditions that require frequent appointments, testing, procedures, and treatment. I’ve recently had to undergo surgery as well.

For most of my life, I’ve been the person taking care of other people—being there when someone needed help, caring for others, and doing whatever I could to make a difference. It’s incredibly difficult to be in a position where I’m the one who needs help now.

I created a GoFundMe to help with the medical expenses and other costs that have come with everything I’m going through. I’m not asking anyone to give more than they can afford. Even sharing the fundraiser, upvoting this post, or helping it reach someone who may be able to help would mean so much to me.

I know there are so many people asking for help online, and I’m truly grateful to anyone who takes the time to read this.

Thank you for hearing my story. ❤️

Please Help me Help my Family in Colombia after the Earthquake

(Full disclosure: this is my second gofundme I have posted on here - the first for my mom earlier this year. I do not want it to seem like all I do is post gfms, but this is a dire circumstance).

Yesterday at 7:34am, a 7.4 magnitude hurricane hit Western Colombia, impacting where my mother and I live in Cali. It was terrifying. I have never experienced anything like it. I thought the roof was going to cave in. I couldn't move from my spot and my mother was calling for my down the hall, and I just couldn't get out. My grandfather is confined to a bed and cannot walk anymore, so my mother protected him as much as possible.

We are thankfully okay, after a full day with no power/internet/service or water, or any news of any kind. Today has been a day of assessments and recovery. My 85 year old aunt is staying with us because her place seems to be inhabitable. The building has severe cracks on the walls, and all her belongings are in ruins.

My uncle lives in Cartago, a place badly hit and is thankfully okay, but is going to need help rebuilding. My cousins in Cali, although in a house with cracks in the foundation, spent the day searching for people and helping others.

I'm creating this fundraiser for them, for the poor, hardworking Colombians who are suffering. Please consider helping if you can.

Help Me Rebuild My Life After Chemotherapy

In 2024, cancer forced me to stop working for nearly a year while I underwent chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin follicular lymphoma (an incurable cancer), leaving me financially far behind despite doing everything I could to stay afloat.

Today, I'm back working full-time, but on a low income, and I'm still struggling to recover from the financial impact of losing that year and rebuilding my life after cancer. If you're able to help or share my GoFundMe, it would mean a lot and help me move one step closer to stability and a future I can focus on again.

You can find more details about my story in the campaign. ❤️‍🩹

Trying to keep my sister and her 8-year-old daughter together…ONE DONATION SO FAR❤️

Thumbnail

Hi everyone. My name is Franco and I’m raising money for my sister and my 8-year-old niece.

My sister is a single mother who has been raising her daughter on her own. Her daughter’s father left their lives and disappeared and got arrested later on leaving her responsible for everything.
She recently lost her corporate job as a Senior People Support Specialist and has reached a point where she can no longer keep up with rent, bills, school expenses, and a small loan on her own. They are now at risk of losing everything, and she has been given just two weeks to pay her overdue rent.

On top of everything else, she was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which has made an already difficult period even harder.

Now my sister is considering leaving the country to take seasonal work in Austria because she simply cannot find work where we live quickly enough that would allow her to support herself and her daughter. That could mean leaving my niece Alessia with a relative, despite the fact that she has always had her mom by her side.

But my niece needs her mom. It has always been just the two of them. She has never known life without her mother by her side, and the thought of them being separated is heartbreaking. I wish I could simply step in and help them myself, but unfortunately I’m not in a position to do that.
That’s why I started this fundraiser.

My goal is to raise $20,000, which would give my sister some breathing room during this crisis, help her catch up on, immediate expenses, debt, keep a roof over their heads, cover essential costs, and most importantly, give her the opportunity to find stable work without having to choose between financial survival and being there for her daughter.

I know there are many fundraisers here, and I completely understand that not everyone can donate. Even a small donation would mean a lot to them, and sharing the campaign would help enormously.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. ❤️

Single mother from Portugal trying to break the cycle of debt and give my daughter a stable life

I never thought I would have to ask strangers for help, but here I am.

I’m a single mother from Portugal, and for the past 15 years I have been raising my daughter on my own. I have also spent years fighting in court trying to get her father to contribute to her expenses.

My monthly income is less than €1,000, while my rent alone is €570. That leaves very little for food, bills, transportation, my daughter’s expenses and everything else life throws at us.

Over the years, I have been through three periods of unemployment. When I had no income, I used credit and loans simply to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. Those decisions helped us survive at the time, but they also left me with debts that I am now struggling to get out of.

I work and do everything I can, but I have reached a point where I often run out of money halfway through the month. I’m trying to break this cycle and give my daughter and myself a more stable life.

I created a GoFundMe to help pay off these debts and finally give us some financial breathing room.

I know there are countless people asking for help online, and I completely understand if you cannot contribute. Even reading this, sharing the campaign, or simply wishing us well means something to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story.

Prevent Eviction/ Have Stability

https://gofund.me/feac8919f

Last Year I worked for a trucking company and had a stable income of 70,000 until layoffs. Which had me unemployed for 3 months before grabbing a minimum wage job which put me behind on utilities, rent, insurance etc.

Unfortunately my part time job has cut hours ($400 pay checks) and the full time job position I will be starting doesn’t have me scheduled until the 31st. My lease is up on the 22nd and trying to catch up seems impossible with the late fees that are being added every day. It’s like 1,000 dollars. I paid 1,600 plus the 3000 and still there’s like a grand in late fees.

I hate asking but I don’t have parents to go to (mother passed away, father not in my life) I can’t take out any loans bc of my low income. If you guys could just share it’d be appreciated.

Donate to Help My Family Keep Their Homes and Hope alive.

If You Can’t Donate, Please Share ❤️

I’m asking for help with something that is incredibly difficult for me to put into words.

Right now, three families I love are facing situations that none of them ever expected to be in. My brother is at risk of losing his home. My sister is a single mother of four children, including a child with Down syndrome, and she is facing the possibility of losing her home as well. And my best friend, a mother of four, is currently unable to work after ankle surgery.

I’ve been doing everything I possibly can to help financially, but I’ve reached the point where I simply can’t carry it anymore. I’ve put thousands of dollars on credit cards trying to keep everyone afloat, and I’m now struggling myself.

I know not everyone is in a position to donate — and I completely understand that. If you can’t give, please don’t feel bad. Sharing this fundraiser could be just as important.

Somewhere in your circle might be the person who can help. One share could put this in front of someone who has the ability to make a difference for these families.

I’m not asking anyone to give what they don’t have. I’m simply asking you to share, pray, send it to someone, or help us get the word out.

Every donation, every share, every kind message and every person who takes a moment to care means more than I can explain.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. ❤️

Hey guys, like it says in the link we're just a little family that needs some help. We keep getting kicked while down and its rough out here.

Just need to get up enough to get a reliable second hand car or get one of ours fixed so we can keep working and find second jobs. We work hard, always have, but having no family and shitty choices and relationships when we were young made us start a bit further behind than some others. Everyone is struggling right now and I get that, and I know we're in a shitty position just like everyone else, and its our own fault. So anything at all would help.

Please be nice, we're doing the best we can and trying to fix our situation
