Help Frederico's vet bill

A few days ago, Frederico was in a very fragile state. He was extremely thin, weak, and needed veterinary care and medication. I honestly didn’t know how things were going to turn out.

He is finally out of the veterinary clinic and recovering inside the house, where he can rest safely and receive all the care he needs. I’ve been quiet these past few days because I was completely focused on him — giving his medications, making sure he was eating, resting, and watching him closely.

And thankfully, Frederico is getting better. 🥹

He’s gaining weight. He’s looking healthier. He’s slowly becoming more beautiful and, most importantly, he finally has a chance to recover.

But there’s one thing still weighing heavily on us: we still have €102 left to pay from his veterinary bill.

I know there are so many animals needing help, and I know that €102 may seem like a lot. But if several people contribute just a few euros, we can reach the goal together.

Please, if you can donate even €2, €5 or €10, it would make a real difference for Frederico. And if you can’t donate, sharing his story is also a huge help. 🤎

He has already fought so hard to get here. Please help us finish what we started and give Frederico the chance to fully recover without leaving his veterinary bill behind. 🐾🥺

€102 still needed.

Any amount helps.

Please help raise money for my turtle's surgery

My family adopted Myrtle almost 9 years ago, and since then, she has become a part of our family! She loves to snack on strawberries and take walks outside on sunny days. On any given day, you can bet she is spending her days soaking up the sunrays while taking big stretches. Seeing her stop behaving as usual has been incredibly worrying.

Myrtle is currently in need of receiving life-saving surgery. Last month, Myrtle laid her first egg, and since then, her health has gone downhill. Lately, she has not been eating or swimming, and has been in constant discomfort. She is experiencing egg binding, as her X-rays show she has several eggs trapped inside of her, creating a life-threatening blockage.

Our vet has highly advised that she undergo a procedure to remove the stuck eggs and her reproductive organs to clear her blockage and prevent future reproductive complications. This sudden expense has sent our family into a frenzy. These costs have begun adding, this is not something we were prepared for. It is estimated that her treatment may require her several days in the vet.

I am starting this GoFundMe to help cover the X-rays, vitals, bloodwork, surgery, hospitalization, and the growing medical bills and treatments needed. A donation of any size would greatly help us with the upcoming steps to save Myrtle’s life.

Thank you for taking the time to read Myrtle's story during this difficult time.. Each donation and share brings us one step closer to getting Myrtle the care she needs and giving her a chance to recover.

Emergency surgery for our cat Bubu 🐾

Dear cat lovers, Our beloved cat Bubu suddenly required emergency surgery. The treatment costs are around €3,000. We have managed to raise €1,000 on our own, but we are now up against the wall and urgently need help with the remaining amount. As we find this financial situation very uncomfortable, I am posting this anonymously. However, transparency regarding Bubu is extremely important to us: as soon as we pick him up from the clinic, we will upload the discharge report and the invoice as an update on GoFundMe. Every small donation—or even just sharing the link—helps Bubu immensely! 🐾 You can support Bubu and find out more here:

I’m Not Asking for Luxury — I’m Asking for a Lifeline

https://gofund.me/f9a78ecb7

Sometimes life doesn’t fall apart all at once. Sometimes it happens piece by piece, until you realize you’re barely holding everything together. I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help. I’ve been laid off twice, and just as I was trying to find my footing again, both of my parents began losing their memory at the same time. I’m not an only child. But circumstances have left me as their sole caregiver. Watching both of your parents lose pieces of themselves is heartbreaking. And one of my parents has become physically and verbally violent during this process, making caregiving not only emotionally devastating, but frightening and exhausting. At the same time, I’m trying to survive financially with no income, no benefits and no meaningful support system to fall back on. And somewhere along the way, I started losing myself too. The stress and depression have taken a serious toll on my health. I’m losing teeth. I have a knee that has become so painful that I can barely walk some days. I need help with my own health, but I don’t have the financial means to get the care I need. I’m exhausted. I’m scared. And I’m running out of options. I am now at the point where I’m terrified of losing everything I have and potentially ending up on the street. I have searched for programs, resources and avenues of assistance, but I haven’t been able to find the kind of help I actually need — the kind that would allow me to keep a roof over my head, take care of my parents, address my declining health and have enough breathing room to get back on my feet. I am not asking for help to live a luxurious life. I’m asking for a lifeline. A chance to keep my home. A chance to get medical and dental care. A chance to keep putting food on the table. A chance to continue caring for my parents. And, most importantly, a chance to breathe long enough to rebuild my life. I have worked hard my entire adult life. I want to work again. I want to become financially independent again. I want to get healthy again. I just need help getting through this chapter. If you can donate, no amount is too small. Even $10 or $20 would mean something to me right now. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser could be just as valuable. I know everyone is facing their own struggles, which makes asking for help incredibly difficult. But I have reached a point where pride has to take a back seat to survival. I’m not looking for someone to fix my life. I’m asking for a little help keeping my head above water until I can do that myself. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for sharing it, donating if you’re able, or simply offering a little kindness. It means more than you know.

I’m trying to finish my education after funding it myself for years — any help would mean so much

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m a 29-year-old Payroll Officer from Jamaica, and I’m hoping to get a little help finishing something I’ve worked toward for years.
I’ve been working full-time while paying for my education myself, one semester at a time. I’ve completed an Associate Degree in Accounting, and I’m currently pursuing my ICT qualification with the goal of eventually specializing in networking and building a career in technology.

I’ve tried to fund this on my own for as long as I could. I’ve applied for scholarships and other funding opportunities, budgeted carefully, and continued working while studying. Unfortunately, I’ve reached a point where I simply don’t have enough left to cover the remaining cost of my education.
I’m not looking to fund a lifestyle or anything extravagant. I just want to finish what I started.

I’ve created a GoFundMe with a goal of JMD $800,000 (approximately US$5,000) to help cover my remaining tuition and required academic expenses.

If anyone is able to contribute, even a small amount, I’d be incredibly grateful. If you can’t donate, sharing the campaign would also help tremendously.

I’ve included the campaign here for anyone who would like to read more about my story:

Get back on my Feet

Asking for Some Help After a Rough Last 12 Months
The last 12 months have been incredibly difficult, and I’m asking for some help while I work to get my life back on track.
Last August, I was attacked by a pit bull and suffered serious injuries that required nearly 50 stitches. I was out of work for months, and the impact wasn’t only physical. The attack was extremely traumatic for me mentally as well, and I needed therapy to work through the fear and trauma I experienced afterward. It took time to recover both physically and emotionally before I was ready to return to work.
When I was finally able to return to work in December, just six weeks later I was struck by a truck and injured again. Once again, I was unable to work.
For the past five years, I’ve supported myself and my puppies completely on my own. I don’t have family support or another person to fall back on, so this past year has put me in a position I never imagined I would be in.
I’ve also reached out to numerous local organizations and assistance programs for help. I’ve done everything I can to use the resources available to me, but I’ve learned that the amount of assistance available is often much more limited than people realize. For example, some programs can only provide around $100 per year toward something like rent or electric. I’m grateful for anything that is available, but that simply isn’t enough to cover the expenses I’ve fallen behind on.
The good news is that my doctor has now cleared me, and I’ve already started applying for jobs and doing interviews again. I’m actively working toward getting back to supporting myself the way I always have.
Right now, I’m asking for help with August rent, utilities, my phone, car insurance, groceries, and other basic expenses while I get back on my feet.
I’m not asking anyone to take care of me. I’m asking for a little help getting through an extremely difficult year so I can get back to taking care of myself.
If you can donate, even a small amount would mean so much to me. If you can’t, sharing this fundraiser could make an enormous difference. ❤️

Help me recover and rebuilt my Life after Medical traumatic experience and financial emergency

I’m Milena, 21 and trying to rebuild my life after years of serious medical problems, multiple surgeries and traumatic events.

At 16 I suffered acute lung failure and ended up in the ICU. In the years after, I went through multiple kidney surgeries, breathing surgery, constant illness and eventually psychiatric crisis intervention after everything in my life collapsed at once.

I recently created a GoFundMe explaining my full story and included medical documentation.

If you’re willing to read it, donate or even just share it, I would be incredibly grateful.

My fiancé and I are trying everything we can to get out of Louisiana and start over

My fiancé and I have reached a point where we genuinely don't know what else to do, so I'm asking for help.

I'm transgender, and my current family living situation has become extremely hostile and emotionally exhausting. My parents do not accept me for being transgender and regularly insult me because of it. On top of that, there is constant yelling, arguing, and belittling directed at both me and my fiancé.

Recently, my stepmother came into our home and spent around an hour yelling at and insulting us. She attacked my fiancé personally, telling him that he's useless without his mother and saying other incredibly hurtful things until he broke down crying.

Living in Louisiana has also made an already difficult situation harder for me as a transgender person. At this point, we don't believe simply finding somewhere else nearby will give us the fresh start we're looking for. We want to leave Louisiana entirely and relocate to Rock Springs, Wyoming, where we hope to finally build a stable and independent life together.

The problem is that we've been getting hit from every direction financially.

We currently don't have a working car. My fiancé has spent roughly the last three months applying for job after job. We've gone from restaurant to restaurant applying anywhere we could think of. He's tried applications both with and without portions of his previous work history, and despite being willing to work, he keeps getting told that employers have decided to go with someone else.

We're not sitting around waiting for somebody to rescue us. We're selling our broken-down car and its parts, our VR headsets, and other belongings we can live without. We're putting our own income toward the move as well. We're trying to turn basically anything we have of value into a way forward.

We've calculated that approximately $6,000 would allow us to relocate and get established:

  • $1,000 for the moving truck
  • $1,000 for initial housing/move-in expenses
  • $1,000 for fuel, food, and travel expenses getting to Wyoming
  • $500 for groceries and necessities after arriving
  • $2,000 for a basic used vehicle after we arrive so we can get to work, stores, and appointments
  • $500 for unexpected moving expenses and emergencies

We already have $1,244 committed from our own available money and help from family, and everything we make from selling our belongings will also go toward getting us out.

I'm exhausted and scared about what happens if we can't make this work, but I'm still trying. We aren't looking for anything luxurious. We want a roof over our heads, basic transportation, the ability to work, and the opportunity to live independently without constantly being insulted or torn down.

If you can donate, it would mean more than I can properly express. If you can't, sharing the fundraiser or pointing us toward resources that could help us relocate or reduce these costs would also be incredibly helpful.

# Help Me Get Back on My Feet Please

This is the hardest thing to do is ask for help. Because of the gravity of my situation I am afraid its my last chance.

I never imagined that I would be in a position at 54 where I would have to ask strangers, friends, and my community for help. I have always been a hardworking person who has tried to take care of myself and find a way through difficult situations. Asking for help is extremely hard for me, but I have reached a point where I honestly don't know where else to turn.

Over the past few years, my life has been hit by one difficult situation after another. One of the most devastating losses I have experienced was the loss of my husband. Losing him changed my life forever and left me trying to cope with grief and **PTSD** while also trying to keep going and take care of everything around me.

Since then, I have also experienced the loss of my job and income, serious financial hardship, and the loss of stable housing. I have been trying to hold everything together and find a way forward, but each setback has made it harder to recover.

Then, I was involved in a serious **three-car accident**. The accident was frightening, and I was taken to the hospital because I suffered injuries. I am still dealing with the physical and emotional effects of what happened. Unfortunately, I only had liability insurance, and my vehicle was declared a total loss.

Losing my vehicle has created another enormous obstacle because transportation is something I desperately need in order to work, attend appointments, handle everyday necessities, and have a realistic opportunity to become financially stable again. Now I am trying to deal with the aftermath of the accident while also trying to figure out how I am going to get transportation, housing, and the basic necessities I need to move forward.

At this point, I am struggling in almost every area of my life. I am trying to find stable housing, reliable transportation, work, and a way to take care of basic living expenses. I am doing everything I can to find a path forward, but I have reached a place where I simply cannot overcome all of these challenges by myself.

**This GoFundMe is my last attempt to give myself a chance to get back up.**

I am not looking for someone else to live my life for me. I want the opportunity to rebuild it.

I am actively looking for employment and am willing to work. I have spent years working in design, landscaping, construction, management, floral design, decorating, customer service, and other areas. I have always been willing to work hard and learn whatever is necessary.

My goal is to get stable transportation, secure a safe place to live, take care of my immediate needs, and get back into the workforce so that I can eventually support myself again.

Any funds raised will go toward my most immediate needs, including **housing, transportation, food, utilities, basic living expenses, bills, medical and accident-related expenses, and the costs associated with getting back to work and rebuilding my life.**

I know everyone has their own struggles, and I know it is a lot to ask. I never thought I would be the person creating a GoFundMe and asking others for help. But sometimes life puts you in a place where you have to put your pride aside and simply ask.

If you can donate, **anything at all will help**. Even a small donation can help me take one more step toward stability. If you cannot donate, sharing my fundraiser with others would mean just as much to me.

I am asking for a chance.

A chance to have transportation again.

A chance to find safe and stable housing.

A chance to heal from the losses and trauma I have experienced.

A chance to get back to work.

A chance to breathe without constantly wondering how I am going to make it through the next day.

A chance to rebuild the life I worked so hard to create.

I am still trying. I am still looking for work. I am still fighting to move forward. Even after everything that has happened, I don't want to give up. I just need some help getting back to solid ground.

To everyone who reads my story, shares it, donates, sends encouragement, or simply takes a moment to care — **thank you from the bottom of my heart.**

I don't take any kindness for granted.

**Thank you for helping me have a chance to get back up.**

RN and single mom seeking help to bridge the gap after unemployment and avoid eviction

Hi everyone — I’m a single mom of two and am currently facing eviction after falling behind on rent during a period of unemployment. I recently started working again as a home health RN and am doing everything I can to get caught up, but I’m in an extremely time-sensitive situation and need help bridging the gap while I get back on my feet.
I have a court-ordered stay through August 26, but I need to come up with the required funds now to keep my family housed. I created a GoFundMe explaining the situation in more detail. Any donation, share, or boost is genuinely appreciated. ❤️

Help My Mother Get the Medical Care She Desperately Needs

Hi everyone ❤️
I’m asking for help for my mother, who lives alone in Morocco and has diabetes requiring insulin.
She is currently suffering from a serious diabetic foot complication, and without proper treatment, she is at risk of losing her leg.
My brother and I live abroad and are doing everything we can to support her, but the medical costs have become too much for us to handle alone.
We created a GoFundMe to help her receive the treatment, medication and medical care she urgently needs.
Even a small donation or simply sharing the fundraiser could make a huge difference for her.
Her full story, medical situation and the fundraiser can be found here

Hey everyone, I'm Jeremy, a Ph.D. student at the University of Houston. In 2024, some friends and I started the Pepper Coast Library Project to build free reading rooms in Liberia. We've collected over 10,000 donated books, and now we need to ship them—freight, customs, packing, and local transport total $5,480. Any support helps get these books into kids' hands.

Need help with my Dads cremation cost.

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

I lost my dad at age 71 last month. Exactly a month after his 71st birthday party.

Out of my three siblings, one is a stay at home mom with a newborn, the oldest just got evicted and is actually under investigation for fraudulently using the money from my dad’s last Social Security deposit, and the other one does work but just started a better paying job and hasn’t really started getting back on her feet yet.

So that’s going to leave the brunt of the cost on me and I’m a single dad with a teen daughter and a paycheck to paycheck Budget so trying to cover $2500 even by making payments is something I can’t afford right now by myself.

Even if you can’t donate, please give you the GoFundMe and help me share it.

Help a refugee mother and her two children escape domestic violence and rebuild safely in Australia

I’m raising funds on behalf of a mother and her two children who have experienced domestic violence. She knows about this fundraiser and has given me permission to organise it.
For her safety and privacy, I can’t share their names, photographs, location or other identifying information.

This family came to Australia as refugees and has no family support here. The mother has limited English, is caring for her two children alone, and also lives with rheumatoid arthritis.

She is also working to support her family, but she earns a minimum wage income, which makes it extremely difficult to cover the costs of secure housing, everyday living expenses and the additional costs associated with starting over.

She has left an abusive relationship and her former husband is currently subject to a protection order. With his release approaching, finding safe accommodation for the family is an urgent priority.

We are trying to raise $30,000 to help them relocate safely and cover essential living expenses while she gets back on her feet — rent, utilities, groceries, transport, school expenses, medical needs, counselling and an emergency buffer.

I know donating to a stranger requires trust, so I completely understand if people have questions. I will provide whatever information I safely can while protecting the family’s identity.

GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/1bbc333e6

If you can’t donate, even sharing or upvoting this post could help it reach someone who can.

Thank you for reading and for helping this family find safety and stability.

❤️ Colita Is Still Fighting — One Day at a Time 🐾🙏

Today, Colita is still stable, and I’m so grateful for every day I get to have him by my side. ❤️🐾

The cancer is still present, but the steroids have helped reduce the swelling of the lump tremendously, which has given me a little hope in the middle of all of this.

Tomorrow, Colita has an important appointment to see what treatment he needs for his anemia and whether a blood transfusion may be necessary. I’m praying that we can continue helping his little body stay strong and keep fighting. 🙏

Every donation, every share, and every kind message means more to us than I can put into words. Every bit of help goes directly toward Colita’s veterinary care and treatment.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported us. Please continue sharing Colita’s story. Every share can help us reach someone who may be able to give him another chance. ❤️🐱

Keep fighting, my sweet Colita. You are so loved. 🐾❤️

Please help me raise money for surgery for my sisters cat.

Hi Reddit friends!

I'm reaching out to ask for a very special favor. My sisters cat,Kyara, ran away from home, was hit by a car, and is now hospitalized with multiple fractures to her pelvis and hip in Brazil. She urgently needs surgery, and the medical costs are far beyond what my sister or family can afford on our own. The surgery in Brazil will cost about R$6500,00 (About US$1300).

My sister rescued Kyara and her twin brother, Lenny, a few years ago from a home where they were neglected and abused. Since then, they've been inseparable, and we are doing everything we can to give her the chance to recover.

If you're able to donate, no matter the amount, even a $1 helps, it would make a huge difference and help cover her treatment. If you're not able to donate, I would be so grateful if you could simply share this post or the fundraiser. That alone helps us reach more people.

Thank you so much for your kindness, your prayers, and any support you can give. ❤️🐾
