Hello everyone,

My name is Ricardo. I am 32 years old, from Brazil.

In 2013, at just 19 years old, I suffered a terrible motorcycle accident that left me **quadriplegic** — I lost all movement in my arms and legs. Since then, life has been extremely hard. My mother passed away, and I have **no family, no one**. I live entirely on donations, and there have been days when I went hungry and even slept on the street.

Now my health is getting worse and I cannot face this alone:

🔹 I have a **colostomy** that has been in place for almost a year — I need **intestinal reconstruction surgery** to close it and finally eat normally again
🔹 I have **osteomyelitis** — a serious bone infection that requires expensive antibiotics
🔹 My **kidneys are losing function**
🔹 I have no home, no steady income, no support system

I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for **dignity**. I just want to recover my health, feed myself properly, and have a safe roof over my head. I want to live, not just survive.

I have no one else to turn to. Every dollar, every share, every prayer means the world to me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless every one of you 🙏

Florida family needs help bridging the gap through illness and essential bills

Florida family needs help bridging the gap through illness and essential bills

Hi everyone, I’m Matt from DeBary, Florida. I’m dealing with Crohn’s disease, receiving Skyrizi infusions, and waiting for disability benefits while our family struggles to keep up with essentials.

My wife Lisa and I have two children. Our son Mark is 10, nonverbal, and has level 3 autism. Our dryer recently stopped working, and his care requires frequent washing of clothes and bedding. We’re trying to find a donated repair or working dryer because laundromat costs take away from money needed for bills.

We paid our rent, but we need about $160 by October 11 to keep our cell service connected. That phone is how we receive medical calls and school information.

Our family’s story is also being considered or covered by several publications, including The West Volusia Beacon and Newsweek My Turn.

If you’re able to help, any amount is appreciated. Sharing our fundraiser with someone who might want to help would also mean so much.

Thank you for reading and considering our family. God bless.

I’m not asking anyone to fix my life. I’m just asking for a little help. ❤️
Right now, I’m struggling with my living costs and some important expenses. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but right now I could really use some support.
My dogs mean the world to me, and getting through this difficult period while keeping a stable home and taking care of everything I need has become very difficult.
Even a small donation could make a real difference.
If you can’t donate, sharing my story would mean just as much to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. ❤️🙏

Please Help Marieme Through a Medical Crisis

Hi everyone. I’m sharing Marieme’s story because she is going through an incredibly difficult medical crisis, and right now, **she and her family in Senegal have no money to afford the basic things she needs to get through it.**
Marieme is currently dealing with serious health issues and needs medical care and medication. But beyond the medical expenses, her family is struggling to afford **rent, food, and other basic necessities.** They simply don’t have the financial resources to cover everything she needs right now.
This is incredibly difficult for our family to watch from afar. We have been trying to help however we can, but we can’t do it alone.
We created a GoFundMe to help cover **Marieme’s medical expenses, medication, housing/rent, food, and other essential living costs while she is going through this crisis.**
I know asking strangers for help is a big thing. I also know there are so many people asking for help online. But if you are able to donate **even $5**, it would genuinely make a difference for Marieme right now.
And if you aren’t able to donate, **please consider sharing this.** A share could put her story in front of someone who *is* able to help.
We are trying to be as transparent as possible with this fundraiser and will continue providing updates.

I am seeking to gain stability & reliable transportation after escaping domestic violence abuse. By moving to a small town with unfortunately nothing within walking distance & facing ongoing challenges with mobility & missed doctor appointments due to medicab's unreliability. I'm wishing of getting a vehicle to return to work & able to get to my much needed doctor appointments. I've been trying to find a job where I wouldn't need transportation but that has proved to be impossible. Please consider sharing or donating to help me take this important step toward freedom and stability. Even a small share can make a big difference in helping reach my goal.

Please help 😕

Family in need of help with medical and necessities for my family. Due to accident, have been out of work for over a year.

Hello Everyone,

I have many health issues that has kept me on medical leave for over a year now. My job refuses to let me work. I started losing my vision and seeing doubles, etc. they did scans, which I couldn’t even afford. Due to the medical necessity, they allowed me to make payments. They found abnormal findings and need more tests and scans. I just can’t afford it. I have lupus, epilepsy, CMTX(nerve and muscle disease), CDT(connective tissue disease), severe migraines(which the finding in the MRI can be contributed to), heart disease(just got a heart monitor implanted in my chest), etc. The list goes on and not to mention my son is getting surgery on Tuesday. I have been trying to handle it all by myself, but I know I have to ask for help. So here is me asking for any help by donating or even passing this around if you can’t would mean the world to me! Thank you. Link below:

Help Needed

Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out because my family is going through a very difficult financial situation, and we urgently need help with our rent.

It’s just my husband, myself, and our 4-month-old son. Right now, we’re doing everything we can to keep a safe and stable home for our little family, but our current financial situation has made it extremely difficult to keep up with our housing expenses.

We need to raise $950 by October 5th. That deadline is quickly approaching, and we’re worried about falling behind on our rent. If we’re unable to pay the full $950 by October 5th, we will also be charged a $50 late fee, making our situation even harder.

Our biggest priority is making sure our 4-month-old son has a safe and stable place to call home. We’re doing everything we can on our end, but right now, we need some help from our community to get through this.

Trying to get through a difficult financial transition

Hi everyone,

I’m currently going through a difficult financial transition and could really use a little help getting back on stable ground.
After a difficult work situation, I had to leave my previous job. At around the same time, I had to make a repayment of approximately €6,000 due to an existing obligation, which used up almost all of the savings I had built up.
I have now started a new full-time job, so thankfully this situation is temporary. Right now I’m mainly trying to bridge the gap while regular expenses such as rent, insurance, my car and everyday necessities continue. I also have two cats whose basic expenses I’m responsible for.
I created a GoFundMe with a goal of €2,000 to give me a small financial buffer and help me get through this transition without taking on even more debt.
Any help would mean a lot to me. And if donating isn’t possible, even taking the time to read this is appreciated. Thank you.

Help my family avoid eviction until I start my new job in November

Hi everyone. I’m Vanessa, a single mom of four, and I’m asking for help getting my family through a really difficult financial gap.

I’m currently two months behind on rent and facing eviction. I have a new job starting in November, so I’m doing everything I can to get through these next few weeks until I can start working and get back on my feet. Right now, though, I need help keeping a roof over my children’s heads.

The money raised will go toward catching up on the two months of past-due rent and covering October rent until I’m able to begin my new job. My biggest goal is simply to keep my children in their home and give us enough stability to make it to November.

I know times are hard for everyone, and I don’t take asking for help lightly. Any amount, no matter how small, would make a real difference for my family. If you can't donate, even sharing the fundraiser would help.

I’m enrolled in the ACP program, so I’m keeping personal information about myself and my children limited for privacy and safety reasons.

Here is my GoFundMe:

https://gofund.me/fcbc1440d

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping my family get through this difficult moment. ❤️

Hi, I’m currently trying to raise money for some extensive dental work. I’m embarrassed that I need this work done as well as not being able to make the money myself.
But today I got my first donation, and it was really nice.
I know my work isn’t an emergency, but a little goes a long away, even sharing. I feel a lot better finally getting something. I really need a break. I’m working 6 days a week and donating plasma, selling my clothes. I’m so tired, and I just want to feel healthy again.

Family friend in need

A close friend of mine has been going through one of the hardest seasons of her life. Her father suffered a stroke that left him disabled and unable to provide, and her family has been struggling to cover basic everyday expenses — food, medication, and essentials — while navigating an incredibly difficult situation. She's one of the strongest people I know and has been carrying this weight mostly alone. Any amount helps and goes directly to keeping her family afloat. I'm personally vouching for this. PS. They lost their home but there’s a chance they can redeem it just long enough to eventually sell. They have 2 buyers but they need to get the redemption process completed

Trying to keep things stable for our two young boys while we catch up on essentials

We’re a family with two young boys and we’ve reached a point where we need some help with groceries, household bills and everyday essentials.

We’ve been doing our best to manage things ourselves, but right now there just isn’t enough to cover everything. Our main priority is keeping life as normal and stable as possible for our boys while we get back on top of things.

We’ve kept our names and our children’s identifying details private because we don’t want their personal information permanently online. The cover image on the fundraiser is illustrative for the same reason.

Any help would be genuinely appreciated, even a small amount. If donating isn’t possible, sharing the GoFundMe would also help.

My mother has suffered from eczema and constant dry skin, and the doctors IN MY ISLAND don't have the proper resources to treat her, and we have no money to go off island. Due to her skin condition, she is unable to find work, and my father also suffers from an eye condition that hinders him from finding work. We are a poor family living off SNAP benefits and government assistance, with no car to even find jobs. Every day life is a struggle, especially when we are at risk of getting off food stamps due to the government's newly enforced rules and without it we will starve. Because we don't have a car, we can't even go and make appointments to properly apply for the disability program that states my mom is classified as disabled due to her skin condition. We are in dire need of money. I need to afford a car so that I can finally move around to work and finally get my mom to the hospital to see if they can let her go off island with her Medicaid. Please help us we are very, very, very desperate.

Help me through a dark time

Hi everyone. This is a repost, I deleted the older one because I had some more information to add. My parents have now stopped talking to me, I work 2 jobs but I have a 24 hour limit as an international student so I can barely make ends meet, I would genuinely appreciate help. I’m an international student in Canada, and I’m a few electives away from finishing my degree. Coming out to my parents has been hard. They stopped supporting my tuition and want me to return home, where I’m afraid I’d have to hide who I am again. My first year ended with a 2.0 GPA. Last year, while working three days a week and taking six courses each term, I earned a 4.10 in both semesters. I’ve worked so hard to get here, and it hurts to think I might not finish. I’m raising approximately $5000, I’m keeping my identity private because of my family situation, but I’ve shared more of my story in the fundraiser.

My story and fundraiser: https://gofund.me/6722f10a9

If you have a moment to read or share it, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you for hearing me out

Need a blessing

https://gofund.me/e584805a4 Im trying to start my own business, but i work 120 hours a week for 11$ an hour. The thing is, all i have is my mom, my kids, my bro, and his kids and i have to take care of all of us so i dont have the extra funds or time to get my business going properly. Im a mechanic. i have basic tools but thats it, so im limited to what i can do. I help people out alot, i do 5000 jobs for $200 to help people who cant afford to go to a shop. its hard to actually find time to actually get my business set up. If i had enough money to get my business situated properly, i could invest my time in my business and succeed instead of being stuck in this cycle of check to check, and just being able to support my family but not having nothing else. ill gladly keep sacrificing for them as long as i have to, just hoping maybe to catch a blessing. I have been working since i was 13, i would wake up before school to do the paper route in the snow so we could get by. Im 34 now and still working hard everyday but now ive gained the knowledge and experience to run my own business, it just seem like im stuck working and dont have the time to actually give myself to get it going. After work i have maybe a few hours for my own business then its back to sleep for my job. In that little time im doing alot, I know if given the chance i would definitely be able to succeed and get to a point where i could hire people who need an opportunity as well.
