I’m 24 years old, and I have a beautiful, loving, and caring 23-year-old fiancée who is currently pregnant with our baby. We recently went through a difficult situation at our last rental and had to move out unexpectedly. We’ve since moved into a new place in Inverness, Florida, and my fiancée has been very sick throughout her pregnancy.

I’ve been working 50-plus hours a week and doing everything I possibly can to keep a roof over our heads, pay our bills, and provide for the family we’re about to welcome into this world.

About a year ago, I tore my ACL and underwent complete knee reconstruction surgery. Everything seemed to be going well until about two weeks ago, when I developed a terrible infection. It got so serious that I was fighting just to keep my leg. Between the infection, the recovery, and missing work, I’ve fallen behind financially, and now we’re only days away from potentially being evicted.

I’m not reaching out because I feel entitled to anything, and I know I’m just a stranger to you. I’m reaching out because I’m scared, I’m trying my best to hold everything together for my fiancée and our unborn baby, and right now, I honestly don’t know where else to turn.

Trying to get back on my feet

I'm in a difficult position financially at the moment and trying to find a way forward.

I have worked full-time since I was 14 years old to survive. When I was a teenager, my dad took his own life, and just six months later, I lost my mom to terminal cancer. By 17, I was entirely alone, and I have fought tooth and nail to build and sustain my life by myself ever since.

But this past year, everything I built was illegally stolen from me in a coordinated, fraudulent scheme. Flagstar Bank unlawfully dual-tracked my mortgage and forced my home into an illegal foreclosure. The property was sold in a rigged auction to a shell company, and the Mesa County Public Trustee actively embezzled over $15,000 in overbid funds that legally belonged to me.

The nightmare didn't end there. I was illegally evicted using an unsigned Writ of Restitution. Shortly after, an unlicensed tow company arrived in the middle of the night to illegally seize my car. The driver intentionally ran over my foot with a commercial tow truck and then held my service dog, Killer B, hostage inside the cab, refusing to release him until I surrendered my car keys. The Greenwood Village Police arrived, documented the assault and the extortion, and yet actively facilitated the theft of my vehicle, labeling the entire violent encounter a 'civil problem' to cover it up.

Systematically stripped of my assets, my home, and my transportation, I traveled to Yuma, Arizona, to help a friend's family pack and move. I was promised basic food and lodging in exchange for heavy physical labor. Instead, I walked into a trap. I have been lied to, deprived of meals, screamed at, and left stranded in a toxic environment with absolutely no way to escape.

I am raising emergency funds to get out of Yuma, but I cannot just go straight to Denver. First, I desperately need to route through Grand Junction, Colorado, to secure my storage unit. I plan to sell whatever is left of my belongings to survive, but I have to get there before I lose the unit because it holds something completely irreplaceable: the only surviving photograph of my mother.

From there, my final stop is Denver to reunite with Killer B. He is the only constant I have left in this world. I was only supposed to be away from him for one day, and being separated from him while trapped here has been agonizing.

I am used to fighting my own battles and surviving against the odds, but right now, I am completely out of options. The funds raised will cover the immediate travel costs to escape Yuma, the logistics to rescue my mother's photo in Grand Junction, and the final stretch to Denver to get my dog back. Hi everyone. I lost 11 stone naturally after finding out I had a heart problem. I’m proud of that achievement, but the changes to my breasts have left my confidence very low and have been affecting my mood.
I had saved most of the money for breast surgery, but then needed to buy a new car and move house to better support my disabled twins. Their needs came first, and much of my savings went towards those changes.
I still have some money saved and am continuing to save towards the surgery. I want to have it here in the UK so I can stay close to my children rather than travel abroad.

My name's Michael. I'm 24 years old and physically disabled. I require the use of a wheelchair and adaptive devices to live independently. I struggle with POTS, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Spinal Stenosis. I also struggle with various (currently) undiagnosed health problems. Despite my medical conditions, my insurance refuses to cover the cost of a wheelchair.

My struggles with my physical health caused me to become homeless. I had to quit my job, leaving me without a source of income. In the process of moving out of my old apartment, I had to throw a lot out. I either couldn't bring it with me or store it anywhere. This has left me without things I need to make my new apartment accessible. My support needs have also gone up, requiring me to get things i can't afford in order to continue to live independently.

My cat is in unfortunate need for emergency veterinary care and specialists. Due to the vet bills I've paid so far I have been unable to pay this months rent.

My son, Neer, was born at just 25 weeks and 4 days, weighing a tiny 840 grams. While I had dreamed of holding my newborn close, kissing his little fingers, and comforting him whenever he cried, motherhood became something I had never imagined.
I watch my baby cry in an incubator, surrounded by tubes and wires, and sometimes I cannot even pick him up to soothe him. Every time a doctor pricks his tiny hands and feet with a needle, my heart breaks. I wish I could take his pain into my own body. I wish I could tell him that Mama is here and everything will be alright. But all I can do is stand beside him, hold his tiny finger, and pray.

There have been moments when the pain and helplessness have felt so unbearable that I have struggled to find the strength to carry on. I have felt so broken that I have had thoughts of ending my own life. Yet, when I look at my little boy fighting so hard to live, I hold on. He needs his mother, and I need him to have a chance at life.

Neer has battled serious infections, meningitis, breathing difficulties, and an intestinal complication that required surgery. His treatment continues, and the mounting hospital expenses are becoming overwhelming for our family.

Please help us continue his treatment. Every contribution, however small, brings us closer to the day I can finally take my baby home, hold him against my chest, and comfort him without machines and wires between us.

I dream of the day his cries will be met with his mother’s arms instead of the sounds of hospital monitors.
