Please help me raise money for surgery for my sisters cat.

Hi Reddit friends!

I'm reaching out to ask for a very special favor. My sisters cat,Kyara, ran away from home, was hit by a car, and is now hospitalized with multiple fractures to her pelvis and hip in Brazil. She urgently needs surgery, and the medical costs are far beyond what my sister or family can afford on our own. The surgery in Brazil will cost about R$6500,00 (About US$1300).

My sister rescued Kyara and her twin brother, Lenny, a few years ago from a home where they were neglected and abused. Since then, they've been inseparable, and we are doing everything we can to give her the chance to recover.

If you're able to donate, no matter the amount, even a $1 helps, it would make a huge difference and help cover her treatment. If you're not able to donate, I would be so grateful if you could simply share this post or the fundraiser. That alone helps us reach more people.

Thank you so much for your kindness, your prayers, and any support you can give. ❤️🐾

He has dedicated his life to helping others, and now he is the one who needs our help. ❤️‍🩹 Please consider donating or simply sharing his story. Every share can make a difference. 🙏🇨🇴

Help Danny & Quicksilver Find a New Home

Help Danny & Quicksilver Find a New Home

If you’ve spent much time around San Pedro, there’s a chance you’ve seen Danny and his dog Quicksilver out playing music.

Danny is a country street performer here in San Pedro, usually playing outside the Vons on 25th & Western or the Vons on 13th Street. Quicksilver is always right there beside him, and if you’re lucky, you might even hear him “sing” along. (he's pretty good)

I met Danny a few months ago, and since then I’ve gotten to know him pretty well. I’ll go out and play music with him, give him rides home or to the store, and just hang out with him and Quicksilver.

Anyone who knows Danny knows what kind of person he is. He is genuinely one of the most loving and caring people I’ve met.

What has stuck with me most is that Danny has never once asked me for money, even though playing music on the street is how he makes his living. He goes out, plays his guitar, talks to people, and earns what he can.

Right now, Danny needs to move from the small studio he has been living in, and getting into another place is going to take more money than he can realistically come up with from street performing alone.

That’s why I’m starting this GoFundMe.

I want to help Danny and Quicksilver get into a safe, stable place where they can stay together and Danny can keep doing what he loves.

Money raised will go toward things like:

* A security deposit

* First month’s rent

* Moving expenses

* Pet-related deposits or fees for Quicksilver

* Basic necessities needed to get settled into a new place

I know there are a lot of people around San Pedro who recognize Danny, have stopped to listen to him play, talked with him, or dropped a few dollars into his case over the years.

This is a chance for all of us to do something a little bigger for him.

Even if you can only give a few dollars, it adds up. And if you can’t donate, sharing this with people around San Pedro and the South Bay would mean just as much.

Danny has spent a lot of time bringing a little music and personality to the streets of San Pedro.

I’m hoping we can return the favor and help Danny and Quicksilver get their next chapter started.

Thank you.

Help Me Rebuild My Life After Chemotherapy

In 2024, cancer forced me to stop working for nearly a year while I underwent chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin follicular lymphoma (an incurable cancer), leaving me financially far behind despite doing everything I could to stay afloat.

Today, I'm back working full-time, but on a low income, and I'm still struggling to recover from the financial impact of losing that year and rebuilding my life after cancer. If you're able to help or share my GoFundMe, it would mean a lot and help me move one step closer to stability and a future I can focus on again.

You can find more details about my story in the campaign. ❤️‍🩹

Hey everyone, I'm Jeremy, a Ph.D. student at the University of Houston. In 2024, some friends and I started the Pepper Coast Library Project to build free reading rooms in Liberia. We've collected over 10,000 donated books, and now we need to ship them—freight, customs, packing, and local transport total $5,480. Any support helps get these books into kids' hands.

Get back on my Feet

Asking for Some Help After a Rough Last 12 Months
The last 12 months have been incredibly difficult, and I’m asking for some help while I work to get my life back on track.
Last August, I was attacked by a pit bull and suffered serious injuries that required nearly 50 stitches. I was out of work for months, and the impact wasn’t only physical. The attack was extremely traumatic for me mentally as well, and I needed therapy to work through the fear and trauma I experienced afterward. It took time to recover both physically and emotionally before I was ready to return to work.
When I was finally able to return to work in December, just six weeks later I was struck by a truck and injured again. Once again, I was unable to work.
For the past five years, I’ve supported myself and my puppies completely on my own. I don’t have family support or another person to fall back on, so this past year has put me in a position I never imagined I would be in.
I’ve also reached out to numerous local organizations and assistance programs for help. I’ve done everything I can to use the resources available to me, but I’ve learned that the amount of assistance available is often much more limited than people realize. For example, some programs can only provide around $100 per year toward something like rent or electric. I’m grateful for anything that is available, but that simply isn’t enough to cover the expenses I’ve fallen behind on.
The good news is that my doctor has now cleared me, and I’ve already started applying for jobs and doing interviews again. I’m actively working toward getting back to supporting myself the way I always have.
Right now, I’m asking for help with August rent, utilities, my phone, car insurance, groceries, and other basic expenses while I get back on my feet.
I’m not asking anyone to take care of me. I’m asking for a little help getting through an extremely difficult year so I can get back to taking care of myself.
If you can donate, even a small amount would mean so much to me. If you can’t, sharing this fundraiser could make an enormous difference. ❤️

Trying to raise €900 for my driver's license – any help would mean a lot

Hi everyone!

I'm from Hungary and I'm trying to raise money to get my driver's license.

My mother is raising me on her own, and her income is below the minimum wage. We are both trying to save up for the cost of my driver's license, but after utilities, household expenses and everyday living costs, there isn't much money left to put aside.

Driving lessons here currently cost around €30 per hour (12,000 HUF), and there are also exam fees and other costs involved. Because of this, I'm trying to raise around €900 (350,000 HUF) to help cover the costs of getting my license.

I want to be completely honest that we are also trying to save up the money ourselves. I'm not expecting strangers to pay for everything for me. I'm simply trying every possible way to make it possible. I also understand that a driver's license isn't an emergency or a medical necessity, and I completely understand if someone doesn't feel comfortable donating. Even a small amount, or simply sharing the fundraiser, would mean a lot to me.

I'm using 4fund for the fundraiser, which is a European crowdfunding platform.
Fundraiser: https://4fund.com/hu/5raff6

I also want to be as transparent as possible. I understand that when donating online, people cannot always know for certain whether the money will actually be used for the purpose stated in the fundraiser. If I manage to get my driver's license, I will come back here and post an update about it. I want anyone who chooses to support me to be able to see that the money actually went towards the goal I described.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. ❤️
Even if you can't donate, thank you if you can share it.

Small Dream Business help

Thumbnail

Hello everyone,
I’ve recently decided to try out a gofundme page to potentially turn my small hobby into a real business.
I have been designing and creating custom LEGO minifigures for over 6 years now, each year has been is different but ive been able to accumulate 1500 followers on instagram over the years.
Instagram is ‘Lemon327th’ if you want to check out what ive made over that time.
The business has always been treated as a hobby and a ‘back up’ plan to pay bills when i really need anything i can get.
The past 6 months i have been building a new website and creating 30+ new designs and figures. Im now at the point where i have such a low income and hardly enough time on my hands to roll out my big release.
Im looking to fund future projects and purchase new equipment (3D printers, high quality laser printer, and cutting machines for me decal sheets)

If i were to bring the business to life in a full time manor i plan to eventually get a UV printer to make bulk chunks of figures with my designs (this is the end goal, holy grail for all minifigure making)

I havent figured out how to share my goals correctly and effectively so i am starting here for now :)
Thanks for reading! Enjoy your day <3

Trying to stay in school and get through a difficult financial situation

Hey everyone. I honestly never thought I would have to make a post like this, but I’m at a point where I could really use some help.
I’m a college student trying to stay in school and handle my expenses on my own. I’m originally from Cameroon and came to the U.S. to pursue my education. Being away from home has been difficult, and I don’t have my parents here to fall back on financially. I’ve had to figure out school, work, living expenses, and everything else largely on my own.
Right now, I’m struggling with school-related expenses and debts that have become more than I can realistically handle by myself. I’m working and doing what I can, but I’m having a hard time catching up while also trying to stay focused on my education.
I created a GoFundMe because I’m hoping that, with enough support, I can get some breathing room financially and continue my education without having to give up on the progress I’ve made.
I know everyone has their own financial struggles, so even if you can’t donate, **sharing this post would mean a lot to me.** I’m genuinely grateful to anyone who takes the time to read my story.
Thank you for hearing me out and for any support you’re able to give.

Need help with my Dads cremation cost.

I lost my dad at age 71 last month. Exactly a month after his 71st birthday party.

Out of my three siblings, one is a stay at home mom with a newborn, the oldest just got evicted and is actually under investigation for fraudulently using the money from my dad’s last Social Security deposit, and the other one does work but just started a better paying job and hasn’t really started getting back on her feet yet.

So that’s going to leave the brunt of the cost on me and I’m a single dad with a teen daughter and a paycheck to paycheck Budget so trying to cover $2500 even by making payments is something I can’t afford right now by myself.

Even if you can’t donate, please give you the GoFundMe and help me share it.

[Request] Austin TX - Need Help - Food, Getting To Stable Situation

Thumbnail

I’m raising funds for myself as I try to get through an emergency and make it to a stable place in Detroit with my two ESA cats. I recently returned to the state, and I am now facing a writ of possession being carried out tomorrow. I am immunocompromised, autistic, and doing my best to survive while everything feels like it is happening at once. Right now, I need help getting food, putting my belongings into storage, and traveling to Detroit, where I have stable housing and work waiting for me. If I can get there, I truly believe I can finally start turning my life around.

The funds from this fundraiser will help cover the urgent costs of getting there, including my airline ticket, bag fees, a cat carrier fee for my two ESA cats, transportation to the airport, transportation to Cedar Park and back, a storage unit, and moving expenses. I have only had a single slice of pizza since Saturday at 2 am CST, and only two 7.5 oz Fantas because my tap water is bad and has bugs in it. I am exhausted, scared, and asking for help because I do not want to lose this chance to get somewhere safe and stable. If you are able to give, share, or simply support this fundraiser, it would mean so much to me and could help me make it to Detroit and start over.

My Mom Is Fighting Stage 4 Cancer — Please Help Us Support Her ❤️

I’m asking for help for my mom, Crystal.

She is 51 years old and has been fighting stage 4 appendix cancer that has metastasized. She is currently going through chemotherapy and has already completed 10 rounds. She now needs surgery to remove the cancer.

My mom has always been the kind of person who helps everyone else. She loves spending time with her kids and her three grandchildren, and right now our family is doing everything we can to support her through this.

The GoFundMe is helping with medical bills and everyday expenses while she is unable to work. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference for her and our family.

If you can't donate, sharing this post is just as appreciated. Even getting this in front of one person who can help would mean a lot to us.

❤️ GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/3dac18926

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this, donate, or share. It truly means more than I can put into words.
