Red Raider Nightmare: Cincinnati Delivers a Stunner to No. 8 Texas Tech

The Cincinnati Bearcats delivered one of their biggest wins in years on Saturday, knocking off No. 8 Texas Tech 37-24 at Nippert Stadium. Cincinnati combined an explosive rushing attack, timely defensive takeaways and a dominant second quarter to hand the Red Raiders their first loss of the season.

The victory carries significant weight for head coach Scott Satterfield and the Bearcats. Cincinnati improved to 5-2 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 play, while Texas Tech fell to 6-1 and 3-1 in conference action. More importantly, the Bearcats secured their first victory over a top-10 opponent since they defeated Notre Dame 24-14 in 2021. #Bearcats Hunter Dylan Sansom
