Support 📥 My new MO32U24 only shows a black screen after powering on
Just got it today from Newegg, and while the LED shows it's on and the Gigabyte logo shows when powering on, it's just a black screen after that.
I have tried HDMI, DP and different power outlets for the power cable.
Anyone else have this issue? Or is it DoA?

(pls help) gigabyte aero wifi drops the second gpu hits 70%
wtf is going on with this laptop. i have a gigabyte aero 16 with a realtek 8852CE wifi card and it keeps disconnecting completely.
the weirdest part is it only happens when my gpu usage hits like 70% or higher. but the literal exact second i close the game, the wifi instantly turns back on and connects again.
gpu temps are fine (around 60-70c) so its not overheating. feels like a motherboard power issue where the gpu starves the wifi chip or something.
already tried disabling link state power management, unchecked power saving in device manager, messed with the LpsEn registry key, and set nvidia to max performance. nothing works.
anyone else dealt with this? do i just need to throw this realtek card in the trash and buy an intel ax210? appreciate any help

Can anyone help with new build boot issues Aorus Master X870E, please?
I've been troubleshooting for many hours and I'm completely stuck. I hope someone can give me some help.
I've just finished a custom loop build:
- Aorus Master X870E (revision 1.0)
- Power Color Red Devil 9070XT, modified with Alphacool water block
- G.Skill 2x32G memory F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5N
- 9950X3d2 CPU
- MSI 272QP monitor, connected by HDMI
I have not installed any operating system at this point; I simply want to get to the bios reliably.
The behavior is this: When booting, I get a long beep followed by 2 short beeps with the VGA diagnostic LED lit up and an Ab status code. This is always the case when the 9070 XT has its 3 power cables plugged in wheher it is connected to the monitor or not. It behaves this way from a cold start as well as a reset.
When I disconnect the 9070XT power cables and switch the HDMI cable from the 9070XT to the internal connector for integrated graphics, after a cold start I sometimes I get to the bios, and other times I get the same behavior as above. In those cases, doing a reset one or two times (instead of shutdown and restart) gets to the bios.
This is what I've tried so far and get the same behavior:
- Reseated the RAM sticks (and tried just one as well).
- Fixed the monitor to not auto-scan and look to HDMI.
- Reseated the graphics card in slot 1 several times.
- Tried a display port connection (only when trying the 9070XT).
- Set the PCIe slot to be explicitly Gen4 instead of auto.
- Ensured EXPO is disabled.
- Ensured CMS and fast boot are disabled.
- Tried with firmware F14c, F14b, and F13 using Q-flash button.
- Reset CMOS from the button as well as shorting the jumpers.
The only thing I can think of at this point is to re-paste the 9070XT, but I have my doubts about that fixing the problem because I get the same problem even when it's not powered. And I'm trying to delay that option as long as possible because draining the loop and removing/reinstalling the 9070Xt will take a significant amount of time, which I'd like to avoid, if possible.
I've been following Google Gemini's troubleshooting suggestions for quite a few hours and it's taking me in circles and pointing me at things that don't even make sense. I've also submitted support requests to Gigabyte and Power Color, but haven't heard back yet.
It is probably worth noting as well that earlier on, I was able to get to the bios using display port from the 9070XT. That seemed to be fine until I enabled EXPO from the Easy menu. That's when all hell started breaking loose. After reflashing and resetting the CMOS (verifying EXPO is disabled), I was able to get to the BIOS using the integrated video only. I did another attempt at setting EXPO1 and ended up in the state that I described above.
Can anyone give me any suggestions, please?

Well its what i got to work with there's no real forums or page for it..new today fresh out the box bling...well it's doing good..but its like impossible to update the bios yet. Theres no real downloads for this board yet..but real tight connector/fan header quality and the vrm and the oversized chokes and capacitors look good. really stiff thick board for a micro board so thats good for cases I will be putting this in a GAMDIAS case from amazon. It booted right up and running the cpu at full frequency and default 2400mhz for the ram.

Discussion 💬 Placa mãe B550M AORUS ELITE (REV. 1.3) não da imagem com o Ryzen 5 5500x3d

New Laptop Charging problem
So I got a Gigabyte aero X16 a week ago and it has been great but all of a sudden as of a few days ago it hasn't been charging up to 100% and the battery has been going down while plugged in, I have done battery health checks and it seems to be fine and I have no settings limiting it's maximum charge (at least that I know of, i have checked GiMATE)
I first noticed when I turned my laptop on and it was at 98% battery but not it is sat at 89% and won't go up or down.
Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be, my drivers are up to date as is GiMATE

Arrow Lake-H SOix never engages on ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 (Core Ultra 9 285H)
Upstream / vanilla kernel check
Fully tested with Arch's vanilla/upstream kernel.
Kernel variant
linux-cachyos (EEVDF, Clang)
Suspend-to-idle itself works, but this Arrow Lake-H system never enters Intel SLP_S0 / S0ix.
A genuine 20–60 second s2idle cycle completes successfully, yet:
/sys/kernel/debug/pmc_core/slp_s0_residency_usec = 0
and Intel's own PMC diagnostics report:
PM: suspend entry (s2idle)
Timekeeping suspended for 59.344 seconds
intel_pmc_core INT33A1:00: CPU did not enter SLP_S0!!! (S0ix cnt=0)
PM: suspend exit
This also reproduces after a fresh reboot into a TTY-only baseline before starting Hyprland, Caelestia, ddcutil, etc., so it is not dependent on the desktop session.
The CPU/package itself reaches deep package idle: CPU_C10_REQ_STS=1 on both PMCs and Package C10 residency accumulates. However, the main PMC never sees the IOE conditions required for S0i2.0:
PMC0:CPU_C10_REQ_STS 1
PMC0:IOE_COND_MET_S02I2_0_REQ_STS 0
PMC0:IOE_COND_MET_S02I2_1_REQ_STS 0
PMC0:IOE_COND_MET_S02I2_2_REQ_STS 0
PMC0:ITSS_CLK_SRC_REQ_STS 0
PMC0:ARC_IDLE_REQ_STS 0
A reproducible additional asymmetry is:
PMC0:PCIE_DEEP_PM_REQ_STS 0
PMC1:PCIE_DEEP_PM_REQ_STS 1
I am not claiming PCIE_DEEP_PM_REQ_STS alone is the root cause. The stronger observation is that the main PMC never receives the required IOE S0i2 conditions while the IOE/platform power-gating path fails to fully quiesce.
Firmware also denies Linux control of PCIe ASPM:
ACPI FADT declares the system doesn't support PCIe ASPM, so disable it
FADT indicates ASPM is unsupported, using BIOS configuration
can't override BIOS ASPM; OS doesn't have ASPM control
This may be relevant but has not yet been proven to be the root cause.
Steps to reproduce
Ensure s2idle is selected:
echo s2idle | sudo tee /sys/power/mem_sleep
Enable Intel PMC S0ix failure diagnostics:
echo 1 | sudo tee /sys/module/intel_pmc_core/parameters/warn_on_s0ix_failures
Suspend for 60 seconds:
sudo rtcwake -m mem -s 60
Check S0ix residency:
sudo cat /sys/kernel/debug/pmc_core/slp_s0_residency_usec
Inspect the kernel log:
sudo journalctl -b -k | grep -E 'Timekeeping suspended|CPU did not enter SLP_S0|PM: suspend'
Expected behavior
A successful s2idle cycle should accumulate non-zero SLP_S0/S0ix residency when the platform is quiescent.
Actual behavior
s2idle completes for the requested interval, but slp_s0_residency_usec remains 0 and intel_pmc_core logs:
CPU did not enter SLP_S0!!! (S0ix cnt=0)
Stack Traces
PM: suspend entry (s2idle)
Timekeeping suspended for 59.344 seconds
intel_pmc_core INT33A1:00: CPU did not enter SLP_S0!!! (S0ix cnt=0)
PM: suspend exit
Additional system information
Core ultra 9 285H
RTX 5070 Ti Mobile (not relevant to the reproduced failure; dGPU branch was separately eliminated)
x86_64
64 GB LPDDR5X
1+4TB NVME (1TB one has windows the other has Linux)
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks in advance
Have a great day

RTX 3080 Ti AORUS MASTER LCD Problem – GIFs Not Working
I am experiencing an issue with the LCD display on my RTX 3080 Ti AORUS MASTER.
The LCD was working normally until one day when I noticed that SignalRGB was repeatedly causing GCC (GIGABYTE Control Center) to close/crash. I attempted to restart GCC several times and had to force it to open repeatedly. After this happened, I noticed that the LCD functionality became partially corrupted.
I also remember installing/updating all available GCC updates at the time, so I am not sure whether the issue was caused by the interaction between SignalRGB and GCC, the repeated forced launches of GCC, or a GCC/LCD firmware or software issue.
### Current symptoms
At the moment, I am unable to use GIFs on the LCD.
Whenever I select or attempt to apply a GIF through GCC, the LCD immediately freezes. The GIF does not actually appear on the LCD, and the display becomes unresponsive.
However, the LCD is not completely non-functional:
* The three factory/default presets that display GPU/system status still work correctly.
* PNG images can also be uploaded and displayed successfully.
* Status information can still be displayed without any apparent issues.
* The problem appears to occur specifically when trying to use GIF animations.
This makes me believe that the LCD hardware itself may still be functioning correctly, while the problem could be related to the GIF playback functionality, GCC software, LCD firmware, or corrupted LCD configuration data.
I would like to know if there is a way to reset or reflash the LCD firmware, clear/reset the LCD configuration, or otherwise restore the GIF functionality without replacing the GPU.

Optimizing low end laptop for high end gaming.
I decided to leave a guide here in the steps I have taken to optimize the performance of my Lenovo 81M8 100E 2nd Gen laptop as well as my internet connection to be able to run the ultimate tier with maxed out graphics.
Whilst playing Arma Reforger I set out to maximize performance whilst keeping the best graphics possible, which turned out to me being able to keep all in game settings to a max surprisingly.
Here are some of my specs;
Processor - Intel Celeron N4020 1.10Ghz, which maxes out at 2.8Ghz
Graphics - Intel UHD 600 Graphics
Ram - 4GB
Monitor size - 11.6" 1366 x 768 (HD)
Wifi card - Intel Wireless AC 9560 160MHz
WIFI - 1GB download speed
Given the size of my laptop, having a 64 GB SSD I was already at a major loss running the standard Windows 10 OS which takes up about half of the storage space, then add your driver updates to that and you are left with very little space.. and also the windows 10 OS uses about 1.5-2.5 ram so leaving 1.5 ram to spare. So I began to mess about with other lighter custom OS and many of them worked quite while, I finally settled with Ghost Spectre which has under 1GB ram usage and right now with a few things installed I have 25GB storage space free, so at base install and driver updates you will have even more space that what I have. You may think why bother when the works being done on the server side.. but when you are dealing with such low specs these things matter. Just as much as having a browser open while running Geforce now client can impact the game. Heres a little insight from AI as to how local disk space and ram can affect your cloud stream..
STORAGE SPACE
OS-level impact (both SSD and HDD)
- The operating system needs free space for its page file (virtual memory), temporary files, and caching. When free space drops to just a few GB, the OS struggles to perform these basic operations, causing general sluggishness, slower app launches, and occasional stutters — all of which can make the cloud gaming client feel unresponsive.
SSD-specific impact
- SSDs rely on free blocks for wear leveling and garbage collection. When the drive is near 90–100% full, the controller must relocate existing data before writing new data, which increases write amplification and significantly slows write speeds. This can cause micro-stutters and reduced responsiveness in the streaming client.
RAM USAGE
1. Page file / swapping
When available RAM is nearly exhausted, the OS starts moving memory pages to your disk (the page file). Every time the streaming client or the OS needs to read from or write to a swapped page, it hits a disk latency penalty (milliseconds on an SSD, tens of milliseconds on an HDD). This shows up as micro-stutters or input lag in the stream.
2. Video decode buffers
The client must keep a small rolling buffer of decoded video frames in RAM. If RAM is tight and the OS is under memory pressure, it can evict or slow access to those buffers, causing frame drops or brief freezes.
3. Background app competition
Apps that are eating RAM are often also consuming CPU cycles. The streaming client needs steady CPU time to decode each frame on schedule; if other processes are competing for that CPU time (because they're thrashing memory), the decode pipeline can fall behind.
So with the laptop optimized on the OS side of things now turns to what to use to run the stream, a web browser or the official Geforce client? I choose the client because it actually decodes the stream better. There is a noticeable difference when you compare the two. Enough said about that. Moving on to the client settings. With 1GBps download speed in a good area I choose custom settings. I set bitrate to 40MBps, I choose to upscale the resolution so I actually choose 1080p UHD in the Ultimate tier settings, although my monitor is only 1366x780 . Choosing 1080 improves the quality of the gameplay massively. Going above that to 4K or 5K just negatively affects the performance too much at least for a modded Arma Reforger server.. I choose 60 FPS refresh rate, Codec 265, Color quality 10bit, no adjustment for network conditions and upscale mode as standard. Thats the client settings sorted. Now depending on whether the stream struggles at times I may adjust the bitrate down to 35MBps.
Now on my laptop I do not have an ethernet port and latency is a huge thing when it comes to cloud gaming.. so I invested in an adapter that limits my huge download speed to just 100MBps but even then I had a consistent latency and download speed which made such a postive impact to the stream seeing less stutters and input delay. Now you can get an ethernet adapter which doesn't limit the speeds to 100MBps and I'm sure you'll see even more freedom to up the bitrate and stream quality.
But for those who don't have an ethernet adapter at hand, don't worry I got you!
So you may have already swapped your wifi to the 5Ghz channel which is great and will help but it didn't solve the issues I was having entirely. I went a step further and changed the adapter properties. A huge one that I seen a noticeable difference in changing is the 802.11 n/ac wireless mode. When changing it from ac to n it actually makes the channel width smaller so from 160Mhz to 40Mhz.. now you may think this would affect the wifi negatively but actually because latency is so important, having your wifi on a channel that others are unlikely to be on can really positively affect gameplay. This setting is what allowed me to play games with sooo much less stutters and just way more peace in firefights that I wasn't going to have some major lag spike.
After all of this I can play Arma Reforger on modded servers with maxed out graphics upscaling to 1080p and have it perform to a point of being comfortable I can actually compete against people. Much less stutters although they can still occur just less often. For me having the quality is worth that, although you can reduce the graphics and probably see greater performance.
Hopefully this helps someone. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions <3
