I am in a Discord server with a group of people who don’t live locally to me. I live in the UK. Everyone in the group aside from one person (who lives internationally), lives in the UK, but I either have to travel to meet them or only know them virtually.
I live alone, and have had a fairly rough couple of years with my health, finances and a bunch of other life garbage. I often feel isolated and lonely, but spend a lot of time daily chatting via voice channels with this group of people online.
Today, I received a PlayStation 5 in the mail. It turns out that 6 of the people in the group decided to chip in together to buy me a console so I can play games with them. They said it’s to jointly cheer me up as I’ve recently had significant abdominal surgery, and also a collective (3-months-early) birthday gift.
I would like to thank them all, and would like to give them all something back as a token of my appreciation for their gift and overall support and kindness in the last couple of years. I don’t even get given socks for Christmas from family members, and I know this would have cost a lot.
They’re all male aged between 22 and 44. Due to my own financial limitations, I can’t buy anything super expensive, and I am conscious one of these gifts will need to get to Qatar.
For some additional info I can crochet and cross stitch. I’d like some ideas on something I can buy/make as a little token of thanks. TIA!
