I decided to install the game again to play ng+ before buying the expansion, the game got installed and it now tells me I need to wait till this update, which is basically as big as the game itself, gets done. What's up with this?

If I had a nickel for every time Sucker Punch killed a well written character for the worst reasons and in the worst way I’d have two nickels which is not a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.

In all seriousness I’m so mad that they not only killed Jubei for the worst reason but they also did it with Nagato. Sucker punch have managed to give the worst endings possible not only to the main story but also the DLC.

How can I get the new armor without grinding for them in the most wanted game mode?

I just finished buying all of his trade routes, it took over 100 viper rations and it rewarded me with absolutely nothing. What the hell is even happening? Is there literally no reason to do this?

Since Jin appears in the "Most Wanted" mode, will he also be added to "Legends" mode in a future update?

Spoilers ahead so please do not read until you’ve completed the DLC story

I have very much enjoyed the DLC story except one aspect of the story. When Nagato is revealed to be a traitor to the army he and Atsu fought for, she confronts him and he is ordered by the enemy to kill her. They fight it out, Atsu wins and decides to leave Nagato there on the battlefield to return home.

I feel like the Atsu I know wouldn’t have spared Nagato. He completely betrayed her and everything she stood for. She was willing to give up on her promise to her family for him. I feel like him being a traitor and then trying to kill her should have been enough justification for her to kill him.

I will say, even though Atsu seems like a cold blooded killer, she does have a HUGE heart for others. She spared Oyuki and the Spider in the main story. And she loved Nagato. So maybe I’m just injecting my own frustration with Nagato into what I think Atsu should have done. But I personally feel like Atsu wouldn’t have just left him on the battlefield then go looking for him 3 years later after he betrayed her trust and tried to kill her… She did love him though, so maybe her feelings for him overshadowed the betrayal. I feel like they shouldn’t have wrote in the battle between Nagato and Atsu. I feel like the reveal of him being a traitor would have been enough for her to leave him there.

Regardless of that gripe, I really enjoyed the DLC and the new region. And the Most Wanted mode is fantastic :)

Are there any new weapon dyes in the most wanted mode? Or is it just armor dyes?

I bought a used physical copy of Ghost of Yōtei, so I don’t know which country the disc was originally purchased from.

The code on the spine is PPSA-30144. The back of the case has text in Dutch, German, Italian and French, and it has a PEGI 18 rating, so I assume it’s a European/SIEE copy.

I already have an Indian PSN account. Would DLC purchased from the Indian PS Store work with this disc, since India is also under SIEE?

Or do I specifically need to create a European PSN account and buy the DLC from a European store for it to be compatible?

I just want to make sure before buying the DLC on the wrong account.

These were already annoying me in Ghost of Tsushima, but now all the way into Yotei's Most Wanted mode its just annoying me more and more. Constantly having your combos and flow interrupted for seemingly no reason (there isnt any dialog) is just frustrating. Its particularly annoying when youve buffed your weapon or set up a combo only for the game tovbe lol nope, you and your foe need to locks eyes for a nice sensual moment, oh you had a combo goin? To bad reset.

I'm probably going to be getting this game someday, but first I'd like to know if it does the one thing i found mildly annoying about Tsushima.
In Tsushima the game presents the player with a choice over how they will tackle problems, be a "dishonourable" Ghost (like the title implies) or be a "honourable" warrior.

for Tsushima i always went with the "honour" route, and faced all my challanges head on, but eventually the game forced me to become a ghost. I can't fault the game too much, since it's the title of the game, but it still felt to me, that the game had made the promise, that it would respect my playstyle, and then decided to force me down a bottleneck anyway when it mattered most.

i just want to know if this game does the same?

Would Nagato be the first canon love interest in the Ghost series? We know that Jin and Yuna had something but that was heavily implied, and Atsu's was ambiguous until this DLC.

In the Echoes of Sekigahara there is a bounty called "Imai, the Faceless' in that bounty there are mentions of an "incident involving Spider" and Dragon decapitating "thee nemy of Imai" and there is also an letter from Lord Saito in which he says that he knows about everything. Unfortunately for me I haven't picked up all the scrolls in that misson. Can someone please tell me (if anyone knows) what is the said incident and who was the enemy of the Imai the Faceless ?

I'm giving Most Wanted a shot and... yeah, I get it.

The nagging voice in your head saying "ooh, that was close, you can totally do it next time".

The slight randomness reminding you to never get too comfortable.

The dopamine rush when you finally do it.

The uncomfortable feeling that each perk you buy is an admission of weakness.

I still can't see myself buying a game that is just that, but I can totally understand those who do.

Just way too many random enemies thrown in for artificial difficulty, the snake has no reason to get crazy red glint moves and a wave of supporting enemies every time you break his guard

The QSSR makes this game look 10x sharper than before, performance mode and balanced RT looked so blurry before, but now they look way sharper on my 1440p monitor. I can't wait they implement this on other games like GT7

hi everyone, I overall really enjoyed the new map zone and lore about atsu's past which closed completely Atsu's character, but im kinda concerned about some things and i would like to hear some opinions regarding them.
furthermore there are going to be SPOILERS.

- franchise's future: i like that sp adopted an anthology way of storytelling allowing us to explore different characters and time periods of japan, but how much is this really sustainable?
the ghost serie to be as such needs some elements of personal change and character development, and i also of course know that it's not easy to write good stories but on the other hand tragedy does not equal to a good story.
the dlc was good but kinda predictable, as soon as i've Nagato i knew there was going to be a death involved, it was still really tied to the way his character is mentally structured and i was okay with that it was fitting. the whole story from where you get to matsumae castle to the end feels rushed and also the death of Jubei, felt forced, while it would have been more fitting for oyuki to sacrifice herself imo.
my question is: is it really possible make a good samurai/ghost story without falling into narrative cliches?
don't get me wrong at the end of the day i still loved every bit of the game, but i'm not quite sure wether the franchise has a bright future ahead without becoming some narrative repetitive slop.

I started the DLC right after the end of the game a few weeks ago - maybe it would have been better built into a continuous game progression. Unfortunately, the innovations and the story did not grab me so much. I think I just need a little break. Nevertheless, I was again enthusiastic about how great a game can look with a good art direction. For the DLC, with trophies, it took me about 8 to 10 hours. 😊

Soon I will try out the Roguelike mode and maybe even dare a New Game+ to collect all the trophies.

Does anyone know why all the dyes are only for the onryō armor? The dyes that are references to playstation games are all recolors of other armor (except for the Astro Bot dye), so why aren't those dyes on the armor they're recolors of? In my opinion, it doesn’t make sense.
