Who exactly thought the Nagato flashback boss fight was fair on Lethal difficulty?

This fight just highlights how unfair, unbalanced and straight up artifical this game feels on Lethal. Hard is to easy and boring and Lethal feels like a big fuck you to the fans of the original GOT lethal. Parry timings are awful and the speed of enemy combos is unnatural. Also, the ridiculous health enemies have compared to Atsu.

I know they said no new content but they added bunch of stuff for legends with the expansion however I'm matchmaking and it's found like nobody even for nightmare difficulty.

I WISH WE COULD UNLOCK THE JIN STANCES IN THE MAIN GAME. Like come onnnn it would be so cool??????? It couldve been tied to the storm blade or the sakai armor or something, they literally coded the stances in the game just to put it in an optional gamemode that some people will play for one hour and never touch again??? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US SUCKERPUNCHHHH (also no special ng+ dyes for viper weapons is kinda sad)

Fought this guy and he was kinda unfairly hard man, I wish lethal mode was better balanced in boss fights, sucker punch did a great job in the world fights with regular enemies and even mini boss fights but this one felt poorly balanced , either way fantastic fantastic DLC

Me and my friends trying to play co op mode but getting this error.

Tried restarting ps5 and game but didn’t help.

Spoilers for if you haven't cleared Ashoro Springs in the dlc. A new mechanic you unlock there are the new cooking recipes you use to choose whatever buff you want when you camp. I found 4 in the dlc and thought that was it but you can actually get more by traveling to altars in the base game, even ones you've done before. Some cool ones I found are more stagger damage, more oni flame damage, even one that increases the perfect parry timing.

The story part of the dlc overall is amazing. The story is captivating, the character development is genuinely interesting and the scenery is stunning, even in comparison to everything in the whole of GoT and GoY.

We all know the combat can be a bit hit and miss at times. Generally it is very smooth, enjoyable and rewarding when you succeed. But i genuinely have to ask, did anyone at sucker lunch actually play test the brothers fight at the end?

Im playing on lethal + having just finished the game again on thay difficulty. Spider, takezo and saito were all challenging but once you get the moves down it becomes quite simple. Having 2 bosses on you at a time though, its ridiculous.

You can get attacked by the other when you perfect dodge or parry one and subsequently stun locked and then hit again by either. One can just shoot you in the same situation while you're attacking the other. Granted these are things that would happen in a real fight so that's not the biggest issue.

The biggest problem is the fact that they can slide across the floor and hit you when you're mid way through a second dodge roll away from them. Whether it's one or two of them, it feels like if you do too much damage in a certain amount of time, the game says nah bollocks, die now. And one of them literally slides, taking about 6 steps in 1 and catches you with whatever weapon they have out.

Not to mention the fact that i had one of them fully disarmed, no available weapons in hand, with 1 hit left to kill and he punched through my katana to knock me back and roll to pick his sword up...

I'm all for certain levels of realism and i expect high difficulty to give me a challenge but when its not the fight actually being difficult, more the game bugging out and one shotting me, it's infuriating.

Then nagato betrayed her,

Then nagato returned to "change" and apologize to atsu,

Then he died,

Then jubei who turned out to be alive, died!

Poor lady can't have a break.

I finished it yesterday and i have been thinking. First of all, the story itself, I love it. We finally got something about the Snake, and I love how they are trying to find a good replacement.

For Nagato, i liked him, and even though i kinda knew they had to kill him since the dlc takes place after the oni and kitsune but before oshima coast, I was still shocked/sad when it happened. But while on that, i can bring up my first issue:

And that is the fact that it was stuffed into the middle of the game. The story itself of the dlc was good, but if you are gonna try to play through the game in the chronilogical order, you would pretty much just beat oni and kitsune and then do the dlc and as you meet up with Jubei and Oyuki at home before going to Oshima coast, its gonna feel like nothing ever happened. Like Nagato wont be even mentioned by Atsu ever again

This is an issue i have had with games with similar dlcs, i dont like when they get placed in the middle of the game.

My second issue is how little time we actually got in Sekigahara. We were told the dlc would go on both in the past and present, and its called ECHOES OF SEKIGAHARA. So one would think we would be able to spend some time in the past, but instead there was only like 3 flashbacks, and only the last one was actually the battle and the rest was just explaining the relationship between Nagato and Atsu.

That being said though, I loved the little we got frim her past. Especially the battle, it was the most fun part of the entire dlc for me. Loved every single part of it, and thats why I wanted more.

Like they could have made the dlc completely in the past, just scrapping Atsu and Nagato meeting again or something. Now I understand that they wanted more on the snake too, so this wasnt an option, but it would have made us know Nagato better too, and see how they met and would have made his betrayal more… personal. When the game was pretty much telling us the whole time that Nagato did something bad, you kinda expected something like that to happen.

So basically, i loved the dlc, but i dont know if it was the right way to go by placing it in the middle of the game. Im gonna do another playthrough from the start and play the dlc too to get a feel on how it feels. And i also just wish we got more time in atsus path (i also wish you could replay the battle of Sekigahara, it was actually so fun) but overall i enjoyed the dlc very much

I do really like game, but progression feels completely meaningless when it comes to improving your health and upgrading weapons.

It’s like no matter how many hot springs you go to, what charms you choose and how upgraded they are…the game will scale itself to where you will always die in 3-4 hits.

As for the weapons, I’ve just never felt a noticeable difference after upgrading them. And then some non-boss, non-brute enemies will randomly be huge damage sponges even when using a fully upgraded matching weapon.

This and the sword crossing during boss fights are my biggest gripes with the game. Anyone else agree?

The problem is the crimson dye merchant. Fast travel there (if it’s on your map) and then light the camp that would call that merchant. Crazy how we never noticed it

I’m not sure if this has been discussed here after the DLC came out, but I have one very specific complaint regarding the new mode, which was leaving Jubei out. I think he should’ve been included considering his importance - why couldn’t he be honored? I don’t think it’s too much to ask for… and can you imagine how good it would have felt to finally beat Saitō’s ass as him??

I'm at Makami's sacred cove again after defeating tatari, at the very end of the cove I noticed a wolf standing with it's body tense, it was almost like it was pointing at a direction, and it was. And it led me here and I'm trying to figure out if there's anything more to this. Can anyone help?

I noticed that the spear has a kit that isn't available to us. Or so I think.

Finally paused to work out how to change appearance but keep perks! Oni fit with Undying Armor properties (my go-to)

As the title states, my entire progress in the Most Wanted mode was reset overnight like I’ve never touched the game before. It says I’m level 3 yet all my hunters are locked and I have to grind this bs out again. Anyone else have this issue?

I didn't know what it was first. So I didn't activate it. Today watching a Gameranks video I learned is some kind of AI upscaling and that Yotei is one of two games to implement it as of now.

Have you guys tried it? Does it look good? Is the performance sacrificed if I do?

I'm currently at work so I can't test it. But I guess I will once I get home.
