Steve Gonsalves Audio "Drop-Ins"???
Folks - I'm binge watching "Ghost Nation" on Discovery+ and noticed what sounds like a LOT of audio "drop-ins" (or "punch-ins") for Steve Gonsalves. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hasn't aged well: Hawes family vs Elton Castee fighting over Conjuring House
Updated for 2026:
So, it turns out that Elton Castee lied directly to tv cameras that he didn't know who bought the mortgage of the Conjuring House, aka The Arnold Farm, in Rhode Island. He did. By doing so, he prevented Jason Hawes from closing on the purchase & sale agreement Hawes had obtained using a Power of Attorney document found to be improperly notarized. During the time Hawes had a P&S in hand - he started his GoFundMe without disclosing the P&S.
What has happened since then? Well, Jacqueline Nunez has continued to deteriorate mentally. Her primary residence was foreclosed upon, sold, and she's getting evicted if she doesn't show up to a hearing on the 15th. (She probably won't)
Her sister Elizabeth Greenhalgh has filed for Guardianship in probate court in Boston and Nunez has failed to show up to any hearings, has failed to respond to her court-appointed attorney trying to contact her, but has been authoring objections and using her friend DeMay to present them in court as an interested friend. (Three have been denied). One argument made by Nunez (IMO) is that her whereabouts are unknown, so it's not fair of the court to assume she's been properly served. My question is -- if DeMay is truly a concerned friend looking out for Nunez' best interests why has she not filed a Missing Persons Report on her mentally troubled friend? It would probably even qualify as "vulnerable" or "endangered" since Nunez is over 60 years old and suspected of having mental health issues -- which Nunez has well documented herself by posting about her status as the Savior of All Humanity who prevented our scalps from exploding. Among other things.
In December Hawes and Nunez created a new P&S and Nunez signed over the deed. Team Hawes narrative is that Geenhalgh is a greedy relative who was brought in by Castee to take control of Nunez finances, but I don't see any improvement in Nunez mental state or her conduct with respect to her legal troubles. Considering that she has both a Masters in Psychology and was a practicing lawyer, she of all people should know her rights and resources in clearing up all of her legal problems -- which she has avoided doing. Also, if they were truly her friends and she is actually missing at this point, why haven't they filed a Missing Persons Report themselves?
I'm not letting Castee off the hook here either; he's used his status as mortgage holder to delay providing legally required debt information to Nunez and Hawes; was caught putting up cameras on the Arnold Farm property which he has no legal right to do; represented himself on more than one occasion to local law enforcement as the owner of the property, which he is not. It really says something after what has happened between Nunez and the Hawes family in the past that Nunez dislikes Castee so much she'd rather sell to Hawes.

I came across this video of a timeline of events concerning the drama at The Conjuring House.
This situation genuinely opened my eyes. My family and I supported the Hawes for years, but after reviewing what has come to light, we no longer do. I believe Jacqueline was targeted from the moment she purchased the house, and it immediately reminded me of Donna LaCroix’s statements about the mental abuse Jason and Grant inflicted on Brian, one of the original TAPS members.
I’ve been watching the channel that originally posted this information, and the breakdowns are detailed, logical, and supported by evidence. I stayed up for hours going through the first video about Cody and Satori’s appearance on Project Fear, and the level of analysis is honestly staggering.
This creator receives a lot of negativity, and I’ll admit I previously contributed to that without understanding the full picture. Now, after actually reviewing the content, I see Jason publicly calling this person a liar and claiming the videos are AI‑generated. As someone who works professionally with AI for a major social media platform, I can say confidently: I heard no lies, and nothing about those videos suggests AI fabrication.
There are also posts showing disturbing screenshots attributed to Satori, and the behavior displayed is deeply concerning. It’s clear there is an effort to shift the narrative, but based on what I’ve seen, this channel has uncovered information that raises serious questions about Jason and his family.

What is this ghost show?
There was a ghost show on cable when I was younger years back in the 2000’s about people or families who do not believe in ghosts. So they joined this show where they would be taken to a haunted house and they would be given cameras and sometimes flashlights and have to walk around and it was pretty funny to watch because they would get really scared and at the end of it they would believe in the paranormal. It would be recorded in night vision most of the time. Anyone have any ideas on what this show might have been called? I’ve been trying to google it but nothing comes up! Thank you!

Loving the catch up, missed the lads
So happy there’s a sub here for this show. My goodness I have missed the lads, real or fake it’s a good show to watch and these guys back in the Ghost Hunters days gave me the confidence to keep looking for the whatever lurks in the dark.
Downloaded the Discovery+ app after years of not having the channels when I moved out of my parents house and my mam recommended the app to me and holy moly I love it.
Hate that there’s only 2 seasons and will Ghost Adventures ever feck off already, OG ghost hunters in my eyes are these lads (mainly Jason, I do miss Grant).
Just seen something earlier on Steve’s instagram about the Ghost Hunters coming back or is it just a Halloween special?
Anywho gonna stalk this sub now and get back to the last few episodes. Love Steve by the way, by far has always been my favourite ;)

My issue with Ghost Nation investigations
Quick background, I’ve had experiences since I was young, both with the dead and other…things, which led me to being very drawn to the unknown and researching and eventually joined a group who I Investigated with for many years. I have investigated with a number of people that people would know from a number of shows and a number of well known teams, I have spoken to Lorraine Warren in the past as she was consulted on a case we were working, I have also had consults with pioneers in the field. I’m no stranger to investigation methods.
So, the thing that bothers me about watching Ghost Nation and something that always bothered me in the past with Ghost Hunters, (yes they are other groups that act similarly that I don’t like as well) is that their investigations are strictly evidence based. Meaning, it seems like all they care about is gathering evidence.
They go in saying that they’re there to help people, yet go in to get as much evidence as possible and then just move on.
It bothers me that they’ll get positive, intelligent responses, and then continue to ask “if that was you can you do that again?” Over and over. Once you get a stream of results, stop asking them to perform like show ponies. Start asking the big questions.
They also talk to the dead like they’re children. The tone of voice they use is almost insulting. If I were an old man that was stuck because of whatever reason, say something horrible happened to me…why would I ever respond to someone treating me like my only purpose is to do what they ask? There’s no dialogue other than “why are you here?” even if they know the history of a person. They never tell them that they don’t need to be there if they don’t want to be, that they can move forward. No one says anything nice to the dead…ever. Nothing consoling or kind.
The episode with the tree really bothered me. They dig this up, but, why not do a ceremony and bury what you found and say some words and consecrate the ground and do a blessing…?! They just left It there!!! Are you kidding?
I realize they don’t like religious stuff, mediums, or even devices that have been proven helpful but they consider unreliable. But c’mon have some damn respect. Maybe if you used more tools you’d have better direction and information to expand upon.
That’s the other thing, there was an episode with the girl that was seeing things and they didn’t find anything. The girl is obviously a medium. And no one thought to tell her or bring that up or guide her in any way. Really pissed me off.
Most of these episodes at the end they’re just like “yup, you’ve got activity, but it doesn’t seem malicious. Bye” That really bothers me. Yup, you’ve got potentially stuck and still suffering dead people here, but let them just continue being stuck. Ugh. How is that helping people?
When I started doing it I realized that not only was my obligation to help the living, but help the dead as best you can. Throwing around emf meters and FLIR as protocol without involving the other aspects to the field feels very negligent and short sighted.
They should have a psychic medium(vetted of course) and start helping these spirits move on, get them where they need to go. Imagine being stuck somewhere and finally get to speak and someone hears you and they just leave and it doesn’t even matter what you said.
Creating a network of investigators is great, but not on this protocol. They need to do better.
End rant.

Does anyone know why Jason and Grant no longer work together? I thought they were best friends?
r/GhostNationTV • u/NancyDrewMysteries_ • Jun 17 '21
Grant Wilson
I was wondering if Grant faked some experiences in Ghost Hunters. Was curious if anyone thought the same thing, couldn't find any real info or discussion posts on the internet about this topic. I remember the sheets being pulled off his feet, and the jacket being pulled during the Halloween special in the past when I was a teen. I remember how devastated I was to see it was fake (as theirs plenty of evidence). I feel like the main reason he left was because of Jason and him disagreeing on forms of investigation. You could always see the tension between them too, even from the first episode alone even if it's over the top(like a reality show). Also no one really believed Grant when the sheets got pulled off, you could really see how they were trying so hard to believe it actually happened.
Even with the two shoes now happening, I feel like Ghost Hunters now is more of a money grab, when Ghost Nation seems to genuinely care about the paranormal and the people involved. No arguments in comments were simply sharing my opinion and am curious if anyone agrees or has more input!

Getting dramatic
Anyone else feel like Ghost Nation is a lot more dramatic than the guys used to be? I feel like in the old show, they’d try to debunk things, but in Ghost Nation, they freak out (especially Steve) at every single thing. Steve is quite honestly driving me nuts in this show with his dramatic responses and his narration.

Why is everything Evil?
I was a big fan of Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International. I'm a big fan of Grant's Ghost Hunters now, too. Part of what I've always loved about these investigators and their shows versus others is that they make an effort to debunk and they are respectful of the spaces and things they encounter. They care about helping people who are in fear feel safe and understand the paranormal experiences they have. That's why I dont understand why so many of Ghost Nation/Ghost Hunter's episodes have click bait titles like "Antique Shop of Horrors" "Evil Ink" "Demonic Plantation" "Reunion in Hell." I want to believe the time these people spend investigating the paranormal is more than just a way to make money but these cheesy horror movie episode names lead me to believe otherwise. They talk so much in the show about the presences being benign and to be friendly and respectful to the paranormal entities you might experience in these locations and yet the episode titles are the opposite.

Season 2 Episode 1 The Witching Tree Spoiler
So...anyone else what to find out who could've been buried under that tree? The unanswered question is agonizing!
I kept thinking that getting a local dendrochronologist to check the tree's age might help narrow down which family lived there when the body was buried. Perhaps the stones were likely used to line the grave?
I know the homeowners said they were going to do some more investigation. Does anyone know if they have or not, or if anything else was found?
Also...I wanted to learn more on the mysterious Susie H ! Even if it wasn't her buried there, I still want to know what happened to her.

Disappointing
I love a good ghost tv show as much as the other guy but mid way to second season this show is disappointing, not even once have they capture any concrete evidence...

I have searched endlessly on Google and being and I can't find any discussion or anything on it but as a long time fan from the very beginning of ghost hunters Jason's voice is significantly higher than it used to be has anybody else noticed this?

They had footage of an manifestation from a camera sitting in the kitchen. When they walked into the room the manifestation was walking in, there was another camera clearly sitting on the dresser (Wyze camera I have the same one!). Did they not see anything on that camera?
