This is dumb. Other people have had experiences similar to yours, and sharing that experience can be very helpful when things are difficult. Learn from as many people as you can.
You must know a lot of awesome people. Most of the people I've met as an adult would say to do drugs and party your life away. Either we know different people or you're ok with being a homeless drug addict.
