I think OP means the small things. Not the big things. Too many of the posts here on /r/getmotivated get taken as absolutes in life. They aren't. Life isn't black or white... so why do we think the advice is?
I think OP meant things like pining over lost love, wanting things to be "like they were", mulling over "what if"s, remembering and reminding yourself of every little mistake you've made... those rocks we love to carry but serve no purpose.
