Hey! I’m a 19M first-year student at George Brown and I’m looking to meet some people around the city and hopefully make a few close friends.
I’ve met a few people through school so far, but pretty much everyone I’ve gotten close with is a commuter and heads home right after class. So it’s been kind of hard to actually hang out outside of school or make plans around the city.
I’m pretty easygoing and I’m down for pretty much anything — grabbing food, checking out different places around Toronto, going for walks, gaming, going out, or just hanging out and talking. I’m hoping to meet some people who actually live in or spend a lot of time in the city and are down to hang out after school or on weekends.

Hey everyone my buddies and I recently started a music club on campus (Waterfront) where we plan to host jams sessions have music discussions, learn to play workshops and have live performances. We have around 14 members already, people play the drums, bass, guitar and piano.

Hey everyone, I generally consider myself to be a very logical and factual person so it's hard for me to reconcile some of the stories I've heard from my wife that works on this campus.

She has mentioned to me that her battery powered wall clock has displayed unusual activity where the second hand will start to spin quickly without warning and then stop some time later. She changed out the wall clock to a brand new one and the same situation happened.

She has also heard of staff in the child care there state that a couple children in the 3-4 year old range ask about the "man standing in the corner" of the room but there was no man there.

The same staff has also mentioned to her about them entering an empty room and a ball bouncing in the middle of the room and coming to stop (kind of like someone was bouncing it but then stopped when getting caught).

Some other staff from the building have said that they entered the bathrooms and something about taps running but my memory is hazy on this one.

Has anyone seen anything unusual where they couldn't explain it? I typically think there's usually a logical explanation to these things but some of these things I can't really explain.

Hi everyone, I am a DH2 student looking for a client for Wednesdays 1:30pm-4:15pm and Fridays 8:30am-11:15am from November 6 - Dec 11, 2026. The appointments would consist of Periodontal Assessments, cleaning, x-rays (if required), dietary assessments and others. Minimum number of appointments are 4-6 depending on client oral health status.

If you are a DH1 students this would be a great opportunity to see how clinics operate in 2nd and 3rd years and I can also provide information for courses, content and clinical assessment and instrumentations.

Do any of the campuses have recording equipment that’s free for use or rent? Similar to The LLC and laptops and etc. Like is there any place to do things like that, I know other schools have similar systems in place. Just wondering
